      Don't use water with hand or dish soap, get a cleaning foam, trust me...

Even though I folded the leg of my blue denim up to prevent the color touching, some blue did transfer. I want to clean before the sye set in. Also, I poorly advise to try toothpaste to remove the color and now a portion of my shoe is significantly darker. The color will return after they dry, right? Please help. Thank you

      Use a soap that has added fat or add your own fat to replenish the oils washed away by the soap.

    If your just going to use dish soap like that you might want to rinse that off. xD dish soap can dry out and crack leather over time. Saddle soap is made to clean and moisturize leather if you are interested in using the proper soap for leather.

    I would LOVE to see you try a restore my dad's work Timbs. Those shoes have been abused asf since he wears them everyday in the field. I almost cried when I saw them 3 months after I gifted them

      Timberland makes a Pro boot that are a little more rugged, but if he doesn't need steel toes they might be less comfortable. I promise your money was well spent, wearing cheap shoes to work will RUIN your feet.

      @@skepchica yeah I gave him the pros but they still got all messed up😭 the leather is cracked and faded… honestly he didn’t really take care of them as he should’ve. But his feet felt much better so that’s all that matters

    What in da bleeeppp .. Dish soap is the last thing you want to use. Saddle soap with a brush!!! Then coconut oil paste. All you need!!

    This is not suede, its nubuck. Those are complete opposites from eachother... suede is the meat side of the cow, nubuck is the outside hide, sanded down.

    Fake mud. The boot is stained only in easily accessible places.... now, if you showed a boot soiled under the laces and dirt that had eaten into the bend ....these places are clean, so the shoes are new and no one has worn them. and the laces are perfect, not frayed

    Timberlands for work? Buy a REAL pair of boots for work. Your feet and your boss will thank you because you'll be able to go hard on whatever your job may be. Danner is my go to work boot. Might be more expensive but they'll last you 3 to 4 times longer than those Timberland dress boots.

    Guarantee you mine are dirtier. I work with concrete, fireproofing, and epoxy. After a couple of months my boots turn into the graffiti edition. There def to dirty for casual use, but you my friend have plenty of life left in those boots.
