I would argue that there is a market for both. If you live in a western country you will really have a tough time even finding fake ones, unless you order from ominous foreign websites, which you shouldn't do in the first place. In developing countries replicas are an affordable way to stay up to date with international fashion and to not feel excluded from the world! Many people that buy replicas couldn't afford the original anyway, so there is really not much loss for the fashion corporations. Not to nention that funnily enough originals and replicas might be produced in the very same or at least neighboring production plants. That explains why some replicas are so close to their original.

Ive been working for years in a clothing and can tell you the label is supposed to tell the truth of an item but even the poor label gets manipulated, eg, the merchandise gets inported in bulk from the fake manufacturers (you know from where) for next to nothing, then the poor label gets cut out and replaced by a socalles for real label produced in your country that is probably well known for the real brand🤷♂️and its just very very dificult to catch these con businessmen out.

With the lower trim level suede and cemented construction, versus boots with Horween or CF Stead leather and Goodyear welted construction. It's not that much effort to copy a low grade suede boot, with a fake welt stitch, that was glued together. That being said, a counterfeit would use an even lower quality suede or fake leather, inferior hardware, lower quality footbed, and cheap plastics for the sole.

When I go to buy butta’s or double soles (that’s what we call them) I always shop around looking for the most golden crispiest pair bcuz sometimes a store might have the lighter ones n they might be softer. But the common mistakes in timber boots is that it doesn't have stitches under makes it pull easily
The shoe is cemented construction. Those stitches that you see are decorative. They don't actually hold the shoe to the sole, like a Goodyear welt.

Esa comparación el ni revisó lo que tenía que hacer para revisarla. Las cajas ambas han sido usadas por timberland, son dos estilos totalmente diferentes y se fabrican con materiales diferentes, una es de niño y la otra de adulto y los colores de suela varían mucho porque si es que los diseñadores las diseñan de acuerdo a la temporada que se fabrican.
To be fair, a Timberland boot is really a knock-off of a better boot. With the lower trim level suede and cemented construction, versus boots with Horween or CF Stead leather and Goodyear welted construction. It's not that much effort to copy a low grade suede boot, with a fake welt stitch, that was glued together. That being said, a counterfeit would use an even lower quality suede or fake leather, inferior hardware, lower quality footbed, and cheap plastics for the sole.
Can you name examples of those higher quality boots that Timberland knocked-off?

Ngl the fakes looking crispier than the real ones except for the lace rivets. When I go to buy butta’s or double soles (that’s what we call them) I always shop around looking for the most golden crispiest pair bcuz sometimes a store might have the lighter ones n they might be softer. Nobody wants those ones!! I might even ask the salesperson to bring me at least 3 pairs to compare for those reasons.
