They changed the context of why she was on the plane and blamed him for it. That same episode also depicted the flight he and Charles had as a broken family moment. Charles himself outright said that day was an exceptionally happy one for him and his father. I love the show and I know they need to make up stuff for the behind the curtain moments but the part where they changed confirmed history sours my feelings for it.
