Is this a reference to that video where the real Philip says, TAKE THE FUCKING PICTURE? Because it is and it is fucking hilarious that they referenced it.
Can't say I'm one of the people that can sweep Phillip's assholery under the rug and find this moment cute. We have literally just come off numerous episodes hinting at his infidelity, coldness, and ego and I just don't understand why the queen didn't fight harder to put him in his place. It just unsettles me which is unfortunate because what a great season it was!
Phillip is an extension of the Queen.. he is her counterpart.. she probably wanted to tell her family to shut up and be quiet but he silenced them for her.. which is probably why she grabbed his hand... oh and families are always fun.. For Christ Sake just about sums it up.
i was pleasantly surprised with how subtly critical this series was. And how they were unafraid to address modern concerns and criticism of the monarchy and its relevance today.
This Reminds me of the time when during a battle of Britian veterans gathering, philip yelled at a photoprapher who was taking too long to get into a correct postion to take the group photo: "just take the f*cking picture!"
I loved this scene... describe their personalities,, Margareth and Tony always argued, the queen mother always tried to comfort Margareth, Philip always had something to said, and the queen always look cool herself.. I'm very interested with the children actor who's potraited david snowden, he's so adorable...❤️
RetroGuy76 Oh dear...!🙈 Alright, you do realize this is no real-life documentary, don't you?! We got a drama series here interpreting well-known, hardly accessible public figures from the same point of view we all got- as outside observers. Having seen the series I say that includes both criticism and paying tribute, in this scene I think audiences can decide themselves how they feel about it. I personally say none of us can seriously relate to sixty years of the eversame photo taking procedures, especially if they include a rather big crowd of kids and family members who will not get it together and stop chatting. Come on we all know how annoying that can be, now imagine that as a constant part of your life. I hardly can and probably would have to do a lot of Yoga to avoid freaking out regularly. ... Eitherway, the well-known finger-pointing freeakout is clearly a director's wink here, a little parody at the end of the series, which only works so well since everybody knows the scene from the Queen's Birthday photographs.
Good gracious! How does the actor who plays Prince Philip look EXACTLYYYY like a young Prince Philip? I’m no Britisher, but from the pics of Prince Philip that I’ve seen, I can really tell that this guy is his young clone! The same smile, height and he plays the character so well!
I love this scene because it shows that they are just like any other family haha. Apparently it really is chaos every time they try take a family photo!
Let's see the kids at the foot are David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowden, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales, Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, Princess Anne, The Princess Royal. Seated Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Standing in the back, Anthony Armstrong-Jones, 1st Earl of Snowden, Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowden, and Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones. Standing to the The Queen Mother's Side, I would say are the Gloucester, Princess Henry, Duke of Gloucester, Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester, Prince William of Gloucester, and Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester. To Prince Philips side, I would say those are the Kents, Prince George, Duke of Kent, Prince Michael of Kent, Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, Duchess of Kent (Also Prince Philips Cousin), and Katherine, Duchess of Kent.
they did their research didnt missed anyone. i would liked that Prince George Duke of Kent and Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester had some kind of role in the crown
IT would be interesting, I believe the Kents were mentioned in Season 2. But the Duke of Gloucester was the Queen's only uncle living in the UK, they seemed to like to focus on the Drama the Duke of Windsor creates, and The Duke of Kent was her younger cousin, so it would be interesting how they were adjusting to the modern Monarchy.
ThumperE23 yes i think they talk about em when Margaret reforms her apartament ..... and the kents or the gloucesters complain due to the noise iirc. perhaps the death of Prince George, Duke of Kent could be part in one of the typical monarchy media crissis episode ---> edit: Searched and prince George is already dead, he passed away in 1942 so forget what i said So the guy maybe its Prince Edward, the actual Duke of Kent
I used this at a work party when I wanted a photo with a friend who was moving soon but I wanted to get home (it was my birthday) to hang out with my family. So once I pulled my friend aside and the lady who could take our picture, we all got in our own conversations and then I suddenly was like we gotta get the picture Harrison because I thought I’d lose my window. I then got the photog and said “Take the photo!” And I left that night with 2 wonderful pictures of my friend before he moved about a week later. Sometimes you just have to take charge!
K M Ashbarul Bari, yes that is clear from the clip, but just look at her face, her facial expression were dead. She wasn't involve in the chaos, as if she was somewhere else in her own mind.
Madhur Tiwari in a previous scene in that episode, Phillip promised to be a better husband and help her when everything feels too much for her, so when he noticed she wasn't mentally there, he figured it was his duty to help her through it quickly so yelled at everyone and got it over with
When was this episode shot and released? Because if it happened after the legendary "just take the f*****g picture" moment from real life then I'd say the writers alluded to it for humour, knowing a modern audience would spot it.
It’s a speech from Shakespeare’s play Richard II romanticising England. interestingliterature.com/2019/12/analysis-john-of-gaunt-this-sceptred-isle-speech/
Every family photo shoot needs an uncle Phillip.
Jane TS Matt Smith or James Avery?
@@AMJazzy96 Haha I say BOTH. Smith's and Avery's characters are just the people to respond in kind to anyone who upsets them. Haha
I'm the "Uncle Philip" of the family while taking photos. And I'm a woman 😂
@@angelgrace8037 Bravo to you!!!!
From now on not anymore
Philip: For Christ’s sake! Take the photo!
Cameraman: *these HeaVy brEed of MeN.....*
*philip throws the chair at his face*
I would’ve! That photograph was annoying AF!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol, I was wondering too. Why the photographer still talks after Prince Philip's fury. He's lucky there is no more shouting thrown at him.
the first time i watched this, i was actually scared he was gonna shout at the photographer😂😂
Is this a reference to that video where the real Philip says, TAKE THE FUCKING PICTURE? Because it is and it is fucking hilarious that they referenced it.
Lol it's accurate because Prince Philip can never sit long for photos
Haha imagine if he had lived before when he wouldve had to sit for hours to allow for his portrait to be painted!! 😂
I think he has always hated doing photos
Except the actual line he’s on camera saying is “just take the fucking photo”.
@@fromchomleystreet yeah but that's when he was older this is when he was younger and around children
Prince Philip: (stands up from the chair) FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!!!! (sits down)
Take the photo.

I loved this scene. And how sweet in the end when the queen takes the Duke's hand!
I loved that, too. She's probably thinking "Thanks babe, because I was about 5 seconds away from murdering this entire family."
Can't say I'm one of the people that can sweep Phillip's assholery under the rug and find this moment cute. Dei H it definitely shows in her face IMO 😂😂😂
you're right, I didn't see it!! The final image shows the reconciliation between the 2 :)
With mine like you have 666 ones. Now the devil is watching us
I am going to miss this cast 😭😭
dont worry, there will be season 3
Mischell Semrádová but they will be not a part of season 3. there will be different actors that will portray their characters.
tinskie 17 like all of them? I just know about Matt (duke Philip) and Vanessa(princess Margaret)
Mischell Semrádová as far as I know all of them. They already cast the new Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Princess Margaret.
tinskie 17 who will be play the queen?
Phillip is an extension of the Queen.. he is her counterpart.. she probably wanted to tell her family to shut up and be quiet but he silenced them for her.. which is probably why she grabbed his hand... oh and families are always fun.. For Christ Sake just about sums it up.
I Just love how after the photo is taken, she just grabs Philp's hand like saying "That's my man" 😅😂
i was pleasantly surprised with how subtly critical this series was. And how they were unafraid to address modern concerns and criticism of the monarchy and its relevance today.
Phillip has n't changed - 'take the f~ing photo'
yes LOL 😄
LOL 🤣😂 thats true
yes, only most direct! ^^
have you seen prince Edward when he was younger?!?!
Are you sure he is greek ? He is closer to a scot

I do believe his exact words were “ Take The F-ing Photo!!!”
I think that was on a different occasion🤔
Yeah I think this was on a different occasion, like when he was much older and went to that air force thing
Take the photo ! Hahaha

These three were absolutly the best !
Philip: For Christ’s sake! Take the photo!
Cameraman: these HeaVy brEed of MeN...

I thought hes gonna say that 😂😂😂
Heavy? That’s a pretty gross misrepresentation
I love this scene because it shows that they are just like any other family haha. Apparently it really is chaos every time they try take a family photo!
Matt Smith, brilliant actor. He was great as Prince Phillip and very good as Dr Who. Now there's a contrast. Anyone else agree ?
It is amazing, when after shooting the photo; the Queen takes her husband’ hand, in a meaning: thanks darling.
👍👍👍♥️♥️
I rewatch this everytime I wanna shout but couldn't. Thank you.
This made me laugh so hard when I first saw it. I love this cast so much
Love that this made it into the final episode 😂

Cecil was the real star of Season 2 😂
I love 4 kids sit on the stairs haha the way they are looking at Prince Phillip so adorable and funny.
I just started watching the show. Still on season one but I love it so far.
Me too,👌🏼
Matt & Claire 💓 i ll miss them so much
Why am i Phillip when it comes to family photos 😂😂
I can't believe I just found out about this show and now am rushing through the 3 seasons so I could watch the newest one
I love this show so much
I feel bad for the kid who seated beside Charles, he was indeed shocked when Prince Philip started swearing hahahaha
I think that's Prince Andrew. The one who did his best Home Alone impression?
I’ll miss them all so much!
I've watched this literally 100 times & die laughing EVERY time!

no one caught the shakespearean quote? i loved it so much
Philip is the best!!!
Did you by any chance watch all of season 2? Like, with your eyes?? lol
The way he smiles at her at the very end ❤
He sounds like an art director “can we have at least some element of focus”
Up until he finally tells him when to “Take the photo”
That's me in the center(Highschool Class Picture Taking) and our adviser yelled at us. 😂
Oh yeah :)
*remembers
The script forgot a word. It starts with an 'f' and goes before 'photo'
Love it man. Just love it❤
Crown’s amazing aaah ✨🌸
He’s just like daemon
Every Dad at the Family Christmas Card photo shoot.
always the consort never the king
I want Matt Smith to yell at me like that
Lol
Daddy
brilliant movie I have watched it all.
I'm surprised that Phillip didn't swear when he pointed and told the photographer to "take the photo" lol
Even the babies shut up 😂😂
I loved this scene! :D
They made this scene after he did it in real life a few years ago
some real gangsta shit bruh
Hahaha Phillip is awesome!
I am guessing the man taking the picture is Cecil Beaton?
Yes he is the queen mums fave telling epic stories for each mother earth damn foto
God we need Philip for dealing with my inlaws when we do pictures all together.
But it's better not having them at all like my parents did
What does he say when he stands up?
For Christ's Sake
N Hal
Thanks.
you're welcome
I swear he said Praise Satan ._. but I speak spanish so good to know
I don't get this scene. The queen looks miserable, the prince is annoyed by the family, and at the end she held his hand. What was going on her mind?
K M Ashbarul Bari, yes that is clear from the clip, but just look at her face, her facial expression were dead. She wasn't involve in the chaos, as if she was somewhere else in her own mind.
She just gave birth so she’s probably tired
Madhur Tiwari she's probably tired and feeling down after having the baby and not wanting all the family stuff and wanting to get it over with
Madhur Tiwari in a previous scene in that episode, Phillip promised to be a better husband and help her when everything feels too much for her, so when he noticed she wasn't mentally there, he figured it was his duty to help her through it quickly so yelled at everyone and got it over with
Madhur Tiwari She held his hand to thank him for getting everyone to behave.
Beautiful serie
Why did they exclude HRH The Princess Royal and Countess of Harewood's family despite being the Queen's aunt and first cousins...strange..
Young Philip "For Christ sake take the photo"
Old Philip "Just take the fucking photo!"
How come the ones chatting and being a mess are the adults, not the kids
The real duke Phillip once told a photographer to ‘take the fucken picture’
Only Prince Daemon can do that! Oh wait.... 😅
Cecil Beaton was a big QUEEN !
Long live the queen
Poor live the queen
Hahahaha real family!! Prince Philip salute to you!! 👏👍😂👏
Can we have some element of focus?
"for Christ's sake" WELL THAT'S ONE WAY TO SHUT EVERYONE UP
Her face at the begining 😂😂
Melhor série!
Lizzie got it right the first time
0:24 feels like something Doctor Who would say. Oh, sorry wrong show
I thought he was goin to yell at Cecil too😂
Just take this fucking photo xD
It would be great to put in the theme music to the TV series Soap over this.
“Take the fucking photo” would have been more accurate😅
Prince Phillip waiting for The Queen at Heaven's gate be like...
Prince Phillip to Saint Peter: FOR CHRIST SAKE!!! OPEN THE GATES
😂😇😇
Philip çok güldüm yaa😂😂
When was this episode shot and released? Because if it happened after the legendary "just take the f*****g picture" moment from real life then I'd say the writers alluded to it for humour, knowing a modern audience would spot it.
Genuinely curious, when the royal family takes a picture, does the photographer really narrate something to get them in the "mood"?
Is it movie or series?
I am with Philip on this
Who are the other people ? I don't recognize them.
Andrew is the boy wearing black or White clothes ?
Oh, he will be wearing black and white, all right...
What's the significance of the poem recited by the photographer?
Nehita Abraham I believe he just talks about the royal family
Logizzle Thankyou so much.

Who is here after funerals ?
Poor Elizabeth
Im wondering why Elizabeth look so stressed in the beginning
Anyone can explain?
Noice and mess i presume XD without considering the baby's cry and the stress to be a new mother
They were lucky.
He didn't use Dark Sister
Hahahaha! Classic Phil!
I need a husband like him
so lovely hahahaha😄
