    Sort of hazy on how I last did it, but I think I just unscrewed the filter off the big suction tube and then screwed on a garden hose and turned the machine on and pulled trigger till everything ran clear.
    There is supposed to be a special soap made for paint sprayers that you can also run through it that has the ability to soften and dissolve dry paint particles that might have stubborned up inside it over time.

    Your videos are very helpful. If you do refilm part 3, I have a suggestion, please mark the sides of the paint cans (fresh water, waste water, and paint). It would make it so much easier for newbies. Thank you.

    Do you use pump armor on the spray hose as well or just the suction and drain hose?

    • @bearfnf4743
      @bearfnf4743 2 года назад

      Pump Armor is mainly for protecting the internals of the pump from corrosion, so no need to run it through the spray hose. The spray hose just needs to be flushed well with water for water based paints and mineral spirits for oil based paints.

    I'm going to be buying this machine later this week And you have great videos on how to maintain the machine which I very much appreciate. But my question Is it safe to use hot water while cleaning this machine or does the water have to be room temperature or cold?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  2 года назад +1

      Hey Michael, thanks for the feedback! It is OK to use hot, soapy water to deep clean and flush the machine. I do not recommend using boiling water of course, however warm water should be just fine from our experience!

      @@GOIndustrial I ended up baying project Series sprayer Magnum X7 but what does it mean "spray up to 125 gallons / year" actually mean?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  2 года назад +1

      @@LyvGamer I hope you enjoy the new spraying! The 125 gallons per year is the advised volume of product that the pump will handle - it's a guide for overall use. Try to stick to those limits to ensure you're not overworking the pump or motor. Hope that helps!

      @LyvGamer 2 года назад

      @@GOIndustrial One more question.. Does the water Well cleaning count towards the gallons per year?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  2 года назад

      @@LyvGamer cleaning wouldn't be included. This is purely a guide - if you feel you're overdoing it, just keep an eye out for your inlet valve/prime valve and other consumables of the pump.

    calling grago’s 1-800 # for anything is fast & they’ve always given good answer + the next question you may have going frwd. USE THE 800#! it’ll stop that 1 star review. For now at least. If used correctly it’ll last a homeowner many homes. If you don’t have time to read or call then wait. Read 1star reviews don’t do that. - homeowner. retired construction dude

    How come nobody shows how to clean if you gotta use mineral spirits? I guess it's the same

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  2 года назад +3

      Hey Paul, great question! The flushing process itself is typically always the same. However, if you are spraying a solvent or spirit based product, then instead of using water to flush you need to use the recommended reducer or thinner. You can typically find the recommended thinner in the TDS of the product you are spraying.
      Hope this helps! 🙌
