    Ethelene Glycol is the primary ingredient in pump armor, also known as antifreeze/ radiator fluid. It’s what prevents the paint from drying inside your sprayer and won’t freeze

    Absolutely superb. I have discarded two Magnum sprayers because the manuals do not discuss freeing the inlet and outlet ball valves. This seems to be a common problem which Gracie needs to address upfront in their manuals.

  • @darkshadow2393

    Question... I noticed that you had Pump Armor left on the drain tube after the first prime and before you flushed it. Does the Pump Armor need to remain in that hose while in storage? I only ask because when I did this on my X7 there was no Pump Armor left on that hose and everything went into the waste bucket once it circulated thru the sprayer. Thanks in advance for your comment.

    • @hookdugger9125
      @hookdugger9125 Год назад

      Yes, whenever I'm done spraying, I use water to flush out all the paints of machine ,hose,and gun ( if you use oil based paint, don't use water. Skip to paint thinner) then 1gal. Paint thinner till that's all trhough and paint thinner can sit in the machine, hose, and gun ( I do take the gun apart and clean it at the start and put new filter in the handle, unless the filter is really clean and I'll reuse it)

      Mainly storing for long periods of time. But if you don’t use it, there’s a chance of getting sticky steel balls. Then you’re messing around stripping it down before you even start your job as the pump won’t prime. Well worth using in my opinion. Helps keep the pumps seals lubricated as well.

    Yeah what is the point of the anitfreeze if you don't fill the hose? Your machine might not freeze but your hose and gun with be ruined potentially. This gives the false idea that people can then store their machine in the shed or vehicle in freezing temperature after using this, but that is not the case.
