  • This is the class for those beginners who are ready to step into the next level of their practice. A great slower pace intermediate class for experienced beginners o for anyone from my Interval Yoga Beautiful Followers that needs to have a slower pace practice on a lower energy day for them. Core work, slow warm up, stretching at the end.

    I loved this class. I have had a number of days doing really strong yoga classes. This is a beautiful class on so many levels. The pace...perfect...the poses...interesting and engaging. I really loved the down dog with a straight leg out to the side...moving into plank with a knee circle...Wow...tough and great! The teacher...Ali Kamenova...as ever...graceful...open...warm...and so very lovely. This class is a class for anyone. If you are working at transitioning into a higher level...or are intermediate/advanced and need a recovery class. Love and sweaty yoga mats on this end of summer day...ever, xoxox, L

    Ali, it's been such a long time since I've taken your class-the last time was the last day of 2014, when I put on one of your classes to do with 2 of my friends & partner before we left for New Year's festivities. I've been feeling tired & sad these past couple of weeks, & today I remembered how empowering your practice made me feel. This was the first class since last year, & it was an amazing welcome back. You are such a blessing Ali, your spirit, your voice, & your practice. I am grateful to your time & wisdom that you impart through your practices. Much love to you.

    Great class. A lot of planks and great for the whole core. Have not done yoga n nearly 80 days bec of my shoulder tendon being frayed. My down dogs are extended forward bends and I have to be careful about not putting weight on outside of wrist and hand but I made it thru.

      Well they couldn’t operate on the rest. The outside tendon on the very outer edge by the wrist bone is slightly frayed. It’s from years apparently of some inflammation that I didn’t know was there and so the rest is a little unstable. They have me in a brace at night and so then it’s OK as long as I’m not sitting at my computer and using a mouse in any capacity which is impossible since I work at an office with a desk and a computer LOL. This week I’m on vacation and I’m having no rest trouble whatsoever. The wrist problem is it specifically caused by my work but it certainly is inflamed as a result of it. So I was able to do yoga. I tend to have to do anything on the hands instead on my fists in yoga. So yes I have started it they don’t know if it’s going to 100% heal and my workplace has ordered me very kindly a mouse that is on the keypad so that I’ll be able to keep my wrist within the front of my body and send it out to the right so that may help alleviate it. But I’m still gonna have to minimize yoga and heavy weightlifting which is generally how I work out so I’m having to find new ways to do things. So I’m doing a lot of classical stretch cardio workouts where it’s muscle burn that equals cardio, walking workout and then also some high impact workouts but it’s hard to come by those without Burpee’s etc. and I get irritated when I have to modify LOL. So I am able to do you’re in for yoga and I am going to start doing that once a week to see how my wrist fares

      @@CamdenSmithNaples Ah yes, best to stay off of it. Also, the brace is a great idea. I would even look into braces for work and the best anatomically correct mouse and keyboards. Good exercises set for wrists and hands. Now that you are aware of it I am certain you can strengthen it.

    Your great! Most viewers don't realize that while your moving from pose to pose the body heats up and needs to breathe. Cluttered clothes are not an issue.

    Hi! I love your videos! I have a question about chaturangas, you are the only yoga teacher here on youtube (of whom I follow) that goes back up in plank before downward dog. This takes a lot more arm/core strenght. I just wonder what is the correct way to do it? I use to alterate depending on how tired I am.

    I am getting tired of all the exhibitionism from all these female instructors on youtube, is quiet a turn off.
