The focus is on weight loss supporting postures and movements. Strengthening the deep abdominal wall. The sequence is a progression of exercises that focuses on strength and core power. This class is ideal for beginner and intermediate students and even more advanced practitioners that are looking for a strong core sequence. Twists have a beneficial effect on the digestion, digestive organs, stomach / abdominal strength/ core integrity. This class is ideal for strengthening the abdominal wall, deepening the core connection, reducing abdominal fat, love handles, lower belly, upper abdominals, etc.
We are going to work on a lot of planks and plank step-ins, set outs, step-throughs, step across, etc.
We are going to work on stretching the hamstrings, hip flexors, gluteus, quadriceps. Strengthening the legs. Some of the metabolism boosting poses are - Jump lunges, core plank walks, side bends,etc.
BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE WEIGHT LOSS, CORE & ABS VINYASA CLASS
Metabolism Boosting, strengthens the deep abdominal wall, addresses the obliques, lower abs, upper abs, legs. Hamstring stretches, hip flexor stretches. We will focus on BALANCING AND TWISTS.
Traditional triangles, cobras, downward facing dogs.

Revisiting the old classic workouts while you take it easy
Love hearing "Namaste beauitful Yogis"!! I'm enjoying the calm that comes with yoga. I'm and avid runner and love weights but this is bringing me into a new calmer self and I feel amazing. I can't wait to learn and do more! Thank you and "Namaste beautiful yogi" ;)
I have literally stopped attending my yoga studio because your videos are so amazing! I prefer to do yoga alone...and even tho self practice is good, i enjoy the technical aspects of class to ensure i am doing the poses to the best of my ability, your youtube videos solved that issue for me! I try to do at least one 30 minute video a day...and that combined with cardio and strength training 3-5 days a week has me feeling energized and in tune with my body...you truly are one of the most amazing instructors I have seen.
I just love your yoga sequneces....very effective ....and my body is more flexible and it's getting strong ....and looking forward to get a beautiful shape...hopefully one day I will get ...😊....

Hi Ali! I have been doing your workouts for months now but this is the first time I've commented. You are my absolute favorite instructor and I probably do your classes at least 3-4 x a week. Each one is so unique and challenging! Thank you for uploading so frequently recently. My only suggestion- maybe you could upload a bedtime yoga routine?! namaste :)

Hello Beautiful Sister, This class is earmarked for my Grand-Daughter Brenna...She is still a relative beginner. For her, the main issue is her height at 5'8" or so, with really long legs. This, along with limited flexability makes most classes a bit too challenging (lots of balance loss still). This class is perfect for people who need to find their balance. The pace and transitions within the movements allow time for self-adjusting (even if one topples, there is opportunity to return to the posture without frustration or the losing of one's place). As for me, I felt incredibly thankful for the slower pace and posture choices. You're amazing classes, along with my obsessive desire to jump into a handstand at any given moment ...I can't seem to help myself (teehee)...has left me sore and tired. I have a hard time taking breaks...But, after a few more handstands!!!(see what I mean), I'm going to rest. Thank you for the gift of another well designed class...I hope you feel the sun on your back today Ali...Until next time, love ever, Laura
With the amount of balance and ab work, that was one of the toughest "beginner" classes I have done. Was a nice routine, and I got a good workout, so I'm not complaining.

Wow this is one great class. It's my first time trying out yoga and it's really difficult. I came from a kickboxing background and I heard yoga complements kickboxing very well. I will practise hard on this class!

Super enjoyed this faster flow. my hamstrings were so tight this morning when I performed this flow they felt like plastic and I have been doing yoga daily but have been done no max 40 min flows so tomorrow I am adding the 30 Day Ordeal r similar.
I substituted 90% of the down d GS with extended forward bend as a result and eventually my hamstrings finally gave way lol. Really liked this flow.

Good morning. My daughter and I loved your video! Your practice is very challenging and we enjoyed it and look forward to doing it again and again. We found at times following you was very hard because the camera zoomed in on you preventing the viewer from seeing your whole pose. This happened a few times which caused a distruption. Can you make a new video with your whole body in camera shot for the duration of the video please? Thanks for your consideration. We love ya!
Hi, have you tried my 30 day challenge from January. It is all shot with the whole body in the camera and the poses are for all levels- beginner friendly. You can choose individual classes - a vinyasa such as this one.

It was points when my legs were in shock lol, from those lunge hops and from warrior 3 to standing one leg position to holding knee. The air had gone pretty thin once I turned my arm behind me for the pose. But was great overall and I had deep meditation threw the challenge

Thank you for new videos could you please do longer and challenging advance one:)i have a question about arm balances i can do right side comfortably but i am struggling for left side especially between movement when you are doing arm balances it is harder but if i do just arm balances like practice i can do but dont know why left is so hard?

Hey Ali! Awesome video as always, I just have a question, my upper back neck/shoulders trapezius area always hurts after/during yoga, and sometimes during normal daily activities. I was wondering if you might have an idea why this is happening and what I could do to relieve it. Thank you so much! xoxox
Hey Ali, so I found that my neck is always unaligned it is always leaned forward which is putting a lot of pressure and stress in this area, I always tensed up my neck during yoga as well instead of letting it relax and fall forward or pushing it out with strain instead of tucking it in safely. I never even noticed this! I found a lot of people have this problem. So this is a great thing I've learned to look for while teaching a class, as well as myself just in daily life. Thought I would share! Thank you for your help again! Much love

After doing the class, I can see that it is a very well designed semi -beginner class with some good challenge choices built in. I think it a really good example of a" transitioning to the next level" class. Which is so important and very often neglected by instructor's. I will use it to help my G-Daughter Brenna this weekend. She is really in that ackward transitional phase where simple holds are boring but balancing is really challenging. This class was really well designed for people in that phase. It's respectful, it's fun, and it allows time to work with the balancing postures. An excellent job Ali.
What if I injured my knee recently and I want to do this. should I push myself and ignore it? o.o
