    If you NEED someone else to respect you, it's becoz you aren't respecting yourself and therefore, you aren't respecting others either... you just lack the self-awareness to see it is all.
    When you FULLY respect yourself, you LIVE respect in everything you do and everywhere you go, it becomes a way of life, and when someone else disrespects you, it matters not, coz you actually see how disrespectful they are really being to themselves.
    Ppl just don't get it... when you say anything about someone, whether it be gossip or admiration, you are really telling everyone about you.

    Respect is a gift that a man gives himself that no other man can grant him nor take from him .
    Respect cannot and should not be automatic seeking the respect of others is the first mistake in ever getting it . Earning it thru your consistent conduct , behaviour and actions is the only way in gaining the respect of others .

      Much respect to you. I'm a woman who's been sexually assaulted numerous times including being sodomized and beaten at the same time twice by my husband (ex now) How I survived them was put them in my head as if they were the same as a handshake. Someone just touched me in a different place. Some of them I reported to the police, but I refuse to charge anyone after the Crown Prosecuter dropped the charges on my ex-husband after the Preliminary hearing where the Judge said there was enough evidence in his opinion for a jury to come back with a guilty verdict. I didn't even want to lay charges when I confessed the rapes to the RCMP when I escaped to the women's shelter with our three little children, but she said that I had no choice. She laid the charges. What the police and the court did to me was worse than the rapes. As far as being a straight male who's been assaulted, I've had a few male friends and partners who have shared their same experience with me. It was very troubling for them as they were afraid it meant they were gay. I always held them and told them NO!, assuring them how attractive they were to me as well as other women as well as sharing some of my experiences. It wasn't about me, it was about them being shitty human beings. Much love and respect to you 💙

    Lewis says: stroke the ego...
    how about: help others be honored and have a few moments of freedom from self natural self loathing?
    The difference: LOVE ❤️.
    I’ve made many sales by loving strangers. You can call it ego stroking but that’s because YOUR egotistical. I myself am loving. I give love, honor, respect... while also being happy to do my service because I’m awesome at what I do... therefore it’s easy to guide and chaperone others to lasting effectiveness by working with me compared to others who are flighty and ego centric and short sited.
    Love makes a huge difference. Love is visiting a friend in the hospital. Love is saying no to a drunk friend doing something wrong... ect and do so with honor.

    • @DweeD1516
      @DweeD1516 3 года назад

      Don't be so sure of and confident in thinking you know everyones feelings and thought processes or reason and personality just because YOU are a loving person and thats what you're transmitting. Your energy filters and transforms once it hits another person. Words emotions psychology or whatever. Love is not always the answer especially on a larger population scale and certain people. The world is extremely complex and varied and so are people. Just because you're putting out love doesnt mean you got the sale because they are thinking the same towards you. They may think you love THEM.

    In my opinion they do have a care because in my experience, one one starts doing, they have objections... meaning, they do care... how do we find out, how far they are willing to go without caring?

    As with anything else in Sales, Chris Voss' advice is gold - until the advice becomes well known.
    If someone asks me in a negotiation "How am I supposed to do that" I will instantly skip to "If you want it you'll find a way" or simply "I'm not here to solve your problem." Done.
    End of negotiation.
    Point is Sales Training is taught as negotiating tactics. Those tactics can be grounded in sound & empathetic psychology, but many sales people (most of the successful ones) are only interested in negotiating tactics as a tool to manipulate. However well-intentioned the tools Voss teaches become mechanistic tools for manipulation.
    To be fair to Voss, I'd bet his tactics work well. But only until they're well known & we all start looking for them. Then they'll just piss us off. Frankly, I'm there already.

    • @maureenadams1888
      @maureenadams1888 2 года назад

      If you are good enough with these tactics and modify them here and there, no one even notices. Any advanced professional will not simply operate in a copy and paste kind of way, but will find ways that these naturally flow in conversations. These tactics, and many others, help many avoid sticky conversations and other confrontational conversations and are very beneficial to the speaker and listener in my experience. It is probably amateurs that are making you angry.

    Dear Lewis I see that you have kept a statue who supposed to be the greatest teacher ever lived , in order to shape up the mind power. Neither past nor future but to be at present and this moment practise which can surely make you great. Humanity and the comprehensive awareness is paramount. Thanks for the best gift to mankind. All the best!!!

    I am about to return to an auto dealer to convert a reservation to an order. They were forcing me to buy a dealer installed surface protection plan before I can place the order.
    I called the manufacture and they said that the dealer is NOT allowed to use this tactic prior to ordering the truck. Today is 2-2-2021 for the record.
