How exactly did the prosecutor intend to walk into court and PROVE that she KNEW the bill was fake?
What EVIDENCE did they have to support their accusations?
This is a MAJOR flaw in the US legal & justice system. They always, always, always tell you to plead guilty. -- Or it will only get worse for you if you don't. Even if you haven't done anything.
Yes thats exactly 💯 what the first public defender told me ,,so thankful I got a better public defender ,,he worked and got everything fixed ,, but I don't think this cop going leave me alone after the other day ,,

I once wrote a big article on the difference between US and European cops... While police over in civilized countries have 4-5 years of real, modern education, including a university degree... US police receive 3-5 months of boot-camp-style training which is virtually unchanged since the mid 60s.
US police is a shame on the nation. They are all very PROUD and patriotic, but they have virtually zero real training. Shame... Such a shame.
@@captain_context9991 Cops there are just as treasonous and criminal...THoUSANDS of examples of it it on all the western countries....

"Western countries" such as? No... This is almost uniquely american.
Taya, you summed up in those two words, "pointedly cruel," what has made me so angry when I've watched sooooooo many videos of police, and DAs, infliction of obvious hate and racism on the average citizen. It is truly outrageous! Your summation to the Somerset police is incredible! And while you live in Maryland, I hate to disparage your State, but I have also lived there and personally experienced the horrible malfeasance of the police, the courts, and the lawyers. So glad I don't live there anymore but with that realization in my back pocket, I truly commend you for staying, sticking it out, and reporting on it!
The criminal police, attorney, prosicutors, and judges are all guilty ALL THE TIME.
All D.A.s should be in prison.
Oh my gosh this is so devastating.
So glad this injustice was somewhat corrected. 🙏
Bless you for doing this work!!!! we the people
The lack of an investigation, lack of federal involvement, and the sneaky way they got her to sign a guilty plea all points to retaliation by the cops.
Yes
Amazing job this is so awesome!
Thank you for your real information. I am a therapist that worked in a court ordered treatment center that dealt with the sad trap of how people are caught in felonies, they do not get out of this trap and never able to get away from it! It happens, please believe it! I witnessed this daily!!!!
Our system basically tosses out humans who were convicted of crimes. You can’t get a decent job, or a good place to live.
This is a public defender that should have EVERY CASE he has been involved with examined before he is jailed for contempt of court
Poor woman was traumatized and must be compensated!!
To the point of being afraid to handle money-- that's pretty sad
It will take years for her to overcome the trauma . May God give her peace

She is so beautiful. Thanks for helping her.
This type of criminal behavior by public servants is why their home addresses should be public information so the citizenry can go to their homes to take corrective measures.
He set her up big time. Not even let her read the documents. She was to gullable! You never sign anything without reading thourghly.
This was an evil act. The police department and prosecutor's office KNOWINGLY set about to frame an INNOCENT woman to forward their careers. It's ambition like this which has innocent people in prison and on death row. Pay attention to what I'm about to say: Ambition driven by a lack of morality and invariably a callous disregard for your fellow human being is a cancer to any society.
If you have the slightest suspicion that they're zeroing in on you, get your own attorney right away.

Amazing work - you should feel pretty good about yourselves. Thank you.

Exposing them for their lies
Thank you all and keep standing for the Truth.Amen
That makes me ashamed of the why they treated her.
This is outrageous what they put this lady through So glad the charges were dropped You guys rock for helping this lady and everything y'all do God bless 🔥👍✌️
Thanks for helping the woman respect from Ireland.
When is this terrorist organization going to be shut down. The judge and prosecutor should be going after this police department.
the "judge" and "prosecutor" ARE the cause of the corruption...
They’re all part of the same problem.
Why isn’t a lawyer taking up her case to sue this Sheriff & those involved in trying to charge her again for the same dropped charges! This is insane!
Oh but cops , attorneys and judges don’t cover for each other, just a coincidence
This why pigs get away with murder their all in on it and not just murder it's everything these pigs do from rape to assaults to lies
Y'all are heros! That PD is either incompetent, or evil.
Corrupt police need to be defunded.
They need a civil war to solve that.

The first one definitely did the boss one did go to bat for me and had it all thrown out ,,,thanks to taya and Stephen calling and asking questions and stirring things up they are my heroes super man and wonder woman got. Nothing on them
Very true John, add the representing lawyers in some counties in Maryland also. All a part of the $ making machine. Feel for this woman, totally taken advantage of. Shameful!!
The reason why the charges were dropped is because this ladies lawyer said we chose to go to a jury trial. They knew she was not guilty, they knew they could strong arm her until they said JURY TRIAL.
Arrest= Bond revenue
Y'all are awesome!!! Thank you for your service 🙏❤
Yes they are amazing
GREAT REPORTING.
End Qualified immunity and hold them accountable for their actions maybe then police will think twice before they Abuse their power
Thank you. Good job on helping her. Bad cops
Thank you!!!! Taya
Awesome video poor lady we can't let this happen
Thank you
Thank you, RNN, for your report.
Wait, what was that at the end - charges dropped - then CHARGED AGAIN?
Yooo, i swear you guys need to help this woman cashin on the system, holding the system accountable isn't just talk and reporting, she needs to START SUING
Taya and Stephen are amazing without them I probably be in prison or at best been dranded a felon ,,, thank you Stephen & Taya
Should charge the sheriff with 18US242. Double jeopardy is a constitutionally protected right. Then SUE SUE SUE under 43US1983.
@@skittlezz67 I'd imagine a lawyer watching this would be motivated to help you pro-bono. Attention should be brought about this to possibly help other victims.
That was really awesome, great job guys!
The Sheriff department got her to show up under False Pretenses, & Never explained what was really happening before she got there. This was clearly a vendetta. They Lied so the case should've been thrown out & she should probably sue since she's obviously got PTSD.
The courts have ruled on this it's ok for cops to lie in their investigation, it's total B.S. if you or I lie then we would be under arrest but it's ok for them to lie to you
@@patrickmclaren4360 Yes they have. This is a serious problem.
I think it's just this one Detective,, he the only one who has a connection to me and has an awesome to grind do to speak ,but now I am nervous about if it's anyone else or just him ,,, I am scared for my life and freedom,,if he come at me again ,,
The US Supreme Court says that law enforcement can lie to a suspect. BUT it is my understanding that they have to Mirandize you before questioning and remind you of those rights each time they question you. I am NOT an attorney so not legal advice.
Never speak to police without a lawyer.
Amazing update! Thank you TRN for helping to get true justice, in "this day and age" of constant government misconduct.
The wheels of justice have become very lucrative 😢
When people are arrested in many places their mugshots are posted online by the police department, then scraped by many unscrupulous websites and posted to the web seemingly forever. Then when a potential employer, date, or anyone searches their name the mugshot will appear and is nearly *impossible* to get removed. Regardless of the outcome of the case it implies guilt and causes problems down the line. This is in addition to the numerous court appearances, attorneys fees, and legal threats that someone has to go through after the arrest to get the charges dropped (of course they are often eventually coerced/intimidated into taking a plea deal before that). The police know they can retaliate against people and cause a lot of negative consequences in their lives whether the charges stick or not.
You make excellent points here! We are trying to help Michelle gt her record expunged but it doesn't protect her from those websites :(
Great work.
you guys rock!
Yes they do
This is outrageous, she caused the police to look bad. That is very bad, people should always just sign, and always plead guilty to what ever the police order you to do. This is a public service announcement.
Good. Now sue them for all you can.
Go for it!!
