I totally agree. For this car - the kidney grills themselves are not so ugly as some of the other new cars, and they did not do the stupid "two layered headlights lights" like on the 7 series. The extra gloss black below the grill on the front, these are terrible. The extra gloss black on the trunk of the 7 looks awful. The side skirts too. . . I also believe those touch buttons on the door will be very annoying to use while driving because they will take your full concentration. You will have to take your eyes off the road and look at them to press the right button since there is no tactile element you can simply explore and find with your hand.

I'm almost certain this is Frozen Portimao Blue. I have a car in regular Portimao Blue and it looks almost exactly the same, except it's shiny metallic in stead of matte like this one. Beautiful colour that changes from purplish to blue depending on the light, even though it's regular metallic and not pearlescent. Don't know if the matte colour does this too but I find it even more beautiful than the metallic version in any case
Love the interior, BMW is killing the game on new technology. The exterior design is nice but the front grill takes away points for sleekness and classy design.
I wish that the ambient lightning had continued to the back seat and had more colors as in Mercedes S class and I think that the curtain s have been made for summer because they are half sleeves😂 they had to made them better than that
So much difference in technology in the front console from the back seats. The back passenger part of the car is so basic comparing to the front passenger and the driver.

In the past, if you said you drove a BMW, you had status. You could only choose between the 3,5,6,7 series. The design was BMW, which differentiated it from all other brands. But nowadays it all looks like hyundai or kia. Climate has a lot of influence on the car industry. Electric car for me is a no go
Understandable, but hopefully next hear they'll release the hybrid twin turbo V-8 5 series which might be called the M560e XDrive...which will be the engine from the 2024 X7 M60i combined with an even more powerful hybrid EV motor, which means it should be a good bit faster even than your already crazy fast M550i...we'll see what happens..I just got the newly updated 2024 X5 hybrid w/the turbo inline 6 and its already much faster than I thought it would be for a standard lux SUV but wouldn't mind trading it in next year for the new 5 series...now the 2025 M5 will be another thing altogether lol! That should have an updated and even more powerful version of the hybrid EV twin turbo V-8 from the 2024 XM Red Line...so no more 738hp..should have at least 850 hp...and we all know BMW severely under rates their Hp and torque ratings..and the M5 competition should have even more..then will come the M5 CS...just wow..imagine getting an 850 hp M5 and then taking it to your local aftermarket tuner and getting all bolt on upgrades plus exhaust and tuning and driving home in a 1200+hp lightly modded hybrid M5 :)
All these high tech motor vehicles in this day and age and no one has come up with an "Electrical Bonnet" unbelivible eh..? its still the same ole pull a lever and Bonnet pops up a bit and one has to manually open it up with both arms 😕
Are there any super charging stations around for this vehicle? I remember charging a Tesla for 20 minutes then getting back on the road.? Does anyone if the map shows any charging stations and does take hours to charge this bmw. If I had this bmw i5 I would spend about $80k or more just in maintenance. I have bmw 5 series and it's really not that old. I spend thousands and thousands of dollars in maintenance not hundreds it thousands of dollars. I bought a lease return bmw for $28k and I am technically in it $35k and going up. I technically went thru $9,000 in tires in 10 months just to drive the 5 series bmw and last month I had $12k in maintenance and going up even more. If own a bmw like i5 get ready to spend thousands of dollars ( Bmw... Break My Wallet ) that what it does
the first thing you should do when buying a BMW is throw away the terrible run flat tires. they are the worst invention in history. they ride hard, and you lose a tire when you hit a crack; not a pot hole. Also, get tire insurance if you are going to keep them. its under 2k
Interior is very nice. Exterior is hideous. No doubt that back end is good for airflow values, but loops drooping down. The front is ok, but serious serious downgrade to the current model. Of course this is my humble opinion. 100% missed change of making a beautiful new 5-series. :)
