During this 2017 live performance, Dimash made sure to erase any doubt that this was anything other than a true live performance by moving his mic quickly from side to side as he sang. Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert when he produced his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it.

Dimash said when he attempted to do another note of him moving the mic back and forth, that his voice failed him so
he had to find another note and his voice landed on the D8.
Off the treble end of the piano keyboard but computers have settled the issue that it was a D8.
When he was younger, in concerts, he would do E6, F7++, and this was a miss on the F...so he just raised the bar a bit to a slide into D8.
But typically, he does not talk about it, as it's not showing off, it is just serving the moment.

Dimash said in an interview that he was 17. Other sources say 19. Perhaps he composed the music when he was 17 but it took a while for him to get Oral Baisengir to write the lyrics, then to finalize the song. IDK. Just a theory to explain the discrepancy.

Dimash did this several more times, for example, there is a video of his duet with a Chinese opera singer on RUclips. Thus, the range of the Master is 7.5-7.7 octaves. I saw a reactor using a note analyzer, and when he slid up the slider, he found that Dimash sounded similar to D8 note.
That was a whistle note, his highest to date at a D8 which it one note off the end of a piano keyboard.
He does that same really super high note in another performance with Chinese classical singer Li YuGang. They performed "Drunken Concubine" and "Diva Dance" together. You should also react to that. You'll find it interesting.
