Dimash said in an interview that he was 17. Other sources say 19. Perhaps he composed the music when he was 17 but it took a while for him to get Oral Baisengir to write the lyrics, then to finalize the song. IDK. Just a theory to explain the discrepancy.
Hey loved your reaction. To me it was a real honest to truth whistle note because when one puts his fingers in his mouth to whistle that kind of tone comes out. He has several masters degrees in music and is the greatest performer in the world. he wrote the song when he was a teenager about a girl he saw in a crowd who he never got to meet.

Dimash used to hit an F7 here, but he doesn't use whistle too much anymore. So basically he had a slight cold, and if you noticed, when he tried to hit the whistle the first time, nothing came out. But he regrouped tried again with a little more pressure and then a C8 and D8 popped out. To date that's his highest note. If you watch other professional singers/musicians react to this song they are all in shock too.

That is the version everyone is refering to - and by far the best /closest to the origional its ever been sang. (yes he has to alter 1 or 2 notes still that literally nobody will ever do lol - but the rest is way better than anyone else- tho some others can sing small bits of it well - and yes they are all women- obviously men are just not normally so skilled in that range).

Dimash used to hit an F7 here, but he doesn't use whistle too much anymore. So basically he had a slight cold, and if you noticed, when he tried to hit the whistle the first time, nothing came out. But he regrouped tried again with a little more pressure and then a C8 and D8 popped out. To date that's his highest note. If you watch other professional singers/musicians react to this song they are all in shock too.
