    He does the "wave' of the mic ones for effect but as well often to prove it's live. People who are not used to listen to trained high class opera voices often doubt he is singing live and in a way it's understandable as his voice control is unbelievable.
    By the way this song is Dimash's own composition, he composed it when he was still a teenager.

    Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than nine musical instruments and sings in more than nine languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, Humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Sopra no, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻

  • @zebrion5793
    @zebrion5793 4 года назад +23

    The craziest thing about that note isn't just that he sings it live, or that it's off the piano high, but if you listen, he is using vibrato... in a whistle note range. You can only use vibrato on notes that you're absolutely in control of, which means that this isn't the highest he can sing. Every other singer (females included) I've ever heard sing in that range have been either straight tone or "squeaks." None of them have been held notes with any sort of vibrato.
    To think that not only can he "get there" with the note, but is able to fully control his vocal cords at that high of a range is literally insane.
    The moments right before he hits the note, he does the "mic waving" thing again, but there's no sound. I think he was actually just hitting a note so high that we can't hear it or the sound system couldn't pick it up.

    • @rykehuss3435
      @rykehuss3435 3 года назад +2

      Yeah I agree its the vibrato at the end of the note that really gets me, what masterful control. But I do think this is the highest note Dimash can sing, though. Even if he can put vibrato on it.
      "The moments right before he hits the note, he does the "mic waving" thing again, but there's no sound. I think he was actually just hitting a note so high that we can't hear it or the sound system couldn't pick it up."
      Nah, thats not it. He was trying to hit the D8, but nothing came out. The mic waving was a cover up for his failure. He tried again and nailed it. D8 has a frequency of 4.6kHz. Adult human hearing goes up to around 18-20 kHz. Mic can easily pick up anything Dimash is doing, and so can our ears. You just dont know what youre talking about, which is understandable.

  • @tallard666
    @tallard666 2 года назад

    Worth repeating, even after so many months, he wrote this himself as a teenager. Many "reactions" think he is only just now, since 2021 trying to branch out into more pop music, but he has always had a strong interest in non classical music. Similarly, so many "reactions" seem to only notice his breathy voice in his later works, but he was already using those sounds frequently in his early days.
    After watching now 100s of reactions, what has really changed for him is deeper control, and lower register. Otherwise, he's simply perfecting what he's always done. God I hope he somehow crosses over to Western radio and media. This side of the planet needs to experience this man!

    What you haven't picked up yet from the videos is, he's a national Icon in Kazakhstan. Most Asian countries have latched on to him about 4 or 5 years ago from a TV show called the Singer in 2017 but in Kazakhstan, he's beloved. He is by far the most humble popular vocalist in the world today. This journey you're on is well worth it just to know his talent. Enjoy your journey into Dimash. We his followers will watch you too. PS: the reason he moves his mic back and forth is to show to the world, he's singing and it's not a tape or sync. Moments later you know why because of the D8. Now there's no way anyone can say it was a recording or manufactured sound.

    Loved your react. Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. A few fun facts that might be of interest. This was Dimash's first concert back in Kazakhstan after The Singer competition in China. The stage was erected in front of a large commons area (like Central Park) which is in Dimash's home town. At the beginning of the concert notice the countless cell phone lights beyond the stage lights, this is part of the 140,000+ people in attendance. Hard to comprehend. I believe you will agree with me that Dimash has invented a completely new definition for singing. Some people have said He is an alien and that He was communicating with the "Mother Ship" with that D8. Personally, I think he was singing to the dolphins and others that can't be there. I recommend you personally watch His Dec. 2019 concert from New York City. It is on RUclips. As far as other recommendations for your reactions, there's Samaltau, Across Endless Dimensions, and Love Is Like A Dream, etc. You can't go wrong with whatever Dimash Sings, but put your seatbelt on, your in for an exciting time. Sorry for being so wordy.

    Bit late to the reaction.... but this reminds me of the scene in Jaws, when Roy Scheider turns to Robert Shaw and says " we're gonna need a bigger boat! " after seeing the shark for the 1st time..only change the words to " we're gonna need a bigger piano! "

    Felicitaciones! Eres inteligente, encantadora, natural... Tus reacciones son estupendas. Un dato: Dimash mueve el micro en algunos momentos porque hay, conocidos profesores de canto, que afirman que sus actuaciones no son en vivo... que hace lip sinc... Dimash ve muchas reacciones. Lo hace por eso.

    When you talked about him belting at 7.00 right then he wasn’t. He did belt a little later of course.. Yes that was whistle. You can’t get up there any other way. It’s the rear set of vocal folds closing down to make a small triangle so it’s way back. I’m pretty sure he wrote this one too. Lots of love., thanks for the reaction! 💜

    No one has mentioned yet that he slides those high notes starting three tones down from the tonic (tonic = the key note of the main melody) and sliding up to the tonic. It's almost miraculous the way he does it.
    A lovely reaction.

    Hola, gracias por tus reacciones sobre Dimash y sobre todo ver tus comentarios de el.Si quires saber la letra de esta canción la puedes ver cuando participó del concurso Singer 2017 en China y también disfrutarás de esta canción ya que una parte la canta en Chino y la otra en Kazajo ya que puedes configurar el idioma y es hermosa ya que la compuso el mismo.Saludos desde Chile.

    Hi Danielle, thanks for another great reaction of Dimash. You mentioned the unusual back and forth movement that he makes with the microphone. It's my understanding that he does this purposely in his higher register to prove that he is singing live. I look forward to your next Dimash reaction, hopefully real soon. Cheers!

    I loved your reaction. Or I should really say your reactions. I haven't read other comments, but one of the things I love about his waving his mike to get that effect is that it puts to rest any controversy that this is sung live. He is authentic. He really is the real deal. There is everybody else and then there is him.

    The part you were talking about at 8:17 is just a reminder to the audience he’s singing live. The part from sinful passion was literally just a death cry situation from my understanding where it’s STUPID fast staccato starts and stops of the air on a flip, if that makes sense? Just wild. He’s literally the best singer I’ve ever heard, male or female.

  • @annemarel

    Some of the other "reactors" have suggested that the combination of Dimash's Physiology and years of training has produced a person that defies the regular rules of "voice". He extends registers and places sounds that are out of the ordinary. Half the fun of watching you "Vocal Coaches", with Dimash videos, is the perplexed look on your faces when he does something out of the ordinary. (Which is every performance).Thanks for all your reactions. They are a joy to watch.
