My dad, who was a chemist, used an orange and rotated it at an angle around a lightbulb to show how a tilted Earth would have the North Pole facing away from the sun in the winter and towards the sun in the summer. He also demonstrated how, from our perspective, the sun would set at different latitudes throughout the year because the Earth is curved. Even at 8 years old, his demonstration made perfect sense to me. I wish someone would show flat earthers what my dad showed me and have them explain how it wouldn't work based on our observations of where the sun rises and sets throughout the year, and why the North Pole experiences 24-hour daylight in the summer and 24-hour darkness in the winter.

So, basically, everything in the universe pulls on everything else, stronger if they're massive or close together. Mass creates the FORCE, so the force (for earth) is (averagely) 9.8m/s2 and observable by anyone on earth

When I was 8 years old, I was confused about how the seasons worked. I thought the earth would need to wobble back and forth for them to work.

Mass creates the FORCE, so the force (for earth) is (averagely) 9.8m/s2 and observable by anyone on earth

What's happening with objects falling to the ground is buyoncy and density. When an object is less dense than the medium around it whether it be air or water. That object rises or falls. That's why an air bubble in water rises and a rock sinks. The law of buyoncy and density was well known before gravitational theory existed.
Buoyancy? That sounds interesting. What's its formula?
Buoyancy is an effect of gravity.
@@TalesOfWar gravity has never been proven...EVER and there's two gravitational theories. One is from Newton a Free mason and the other from Einstein. Both still nothing more than theories
@@traviscarr4698 1) Theory in science science is the explanation of a natural phenomenon that is backed up by multiple lines of the best evidence that we have. It's not a guess. That's what a hypothesis is. General relativity is the most successful scientific theory in the history of science. Your illiteracy is not a valid reason to deny it.
2) Objects falling is the proof of gravity. The fact that objects with different masses fall at the same time in the vacuum chamber shows that gravity is proportional to mass.
3) Buoyancy is the result of a fluid with higher density being pulled down harder than an object with lower density.
Go back to school.
gravity can be measured not gonna argue im right period density doesnt make things fall any faster either only drag objects also weigh less at the poles also mountain tops or elevation etc

Why wont NASA just place a 24 live feed from the Moon to show Earth a spinning ball?
The “EPIC” spacecraft takes images of the earth from further away every two hours. A live feed that is that long would be nearly impossible
@@SpaceImplorerExplorerImplorer well considering the Moon is less than 300,000 miles away according to NASA, there should be no problem setting up a 24 hour live feed showing Earth spinning.
@@quailshootr6389 The problem is that you need a lot of power to do a permanent live feed on the moon which is only possible with expensive energy sources (such as nuclear energy) during the lunar night. Another thing is that there isn’t anything to gain from a permanent lunar live feed, especially since there is a much more manageable one on the ISS.
@@SpaceImplorerExplorerImplorer You like making excuses for NASA. Solar panels could be used for a simple camera and enough power could be generated to send those 24 hour signals back. Cmon, the lunar lander ran on batteries. Lol
@@quailshootr6389 Another thing is that the lunar night lasts for two weeks. Solar energy would then would be useless for a 24 hour live feed.

We can have an image of the entire Earth that shows planes... sort of. Sure it can't be done in a single image as you'd either be too close to view the entire Earth, or too far to see any planes, but you can connect multiple images together. But then Flat Earthers would claim this connected image is fake/CGI.

@@msa7933 Would you agree with me that earth is flat?
Correct. Gravity is well defined, has been rigorously tested, repeatedly verified and never falsified.
If the Earth was flat, then the sun would rise everywhere at the same time.
Not true. Earth is a stationary plane, the Sun is much smaller than Earth and very local, not 93 mil miles away. So as the Sun circumnavigates the stationary Earth in its 24 hour circuit, it cannot light up the entire Earth at 1 time. That gives us night n day.
