The Nintendo Switch has the best first party library of any Nintendo console and one of the best first party game console library's ever made, with good third party support to boot. The Switch 2, although not 100% confirmed, will definitely be backwards compatible, the game library will be absolutely gigantic and the Switch 2 will probably be slightly stronger than the PS4 and most PS5 games can be played on PS4, so the third party support is going to be crazy.
The Ps5 has no games argument is so true. I got a Ps5 about 7-8 months ago and the only games I’ve gotten so far are Spiderman 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, and Persona 3 Reload. I kept hearing all this hype from my friends saying “You should get a Ps5” and I literally haven’t touched it in almost a month. For context, in the 7 years I’ve owned a switch, I’ve never put my switch down for more than a few days. Who knows though maybe Sony will pick up the slack and announce actual compelling exclusives in the future, though based on that “later half of its lifecycle” comment I’m not gonna hold my breath. Definitely not getting another PlayStation
The duke remote as it was called, was only bundled with the system for only a year. A smaller version of the remote was bundled with the console's launch in Japan that ended up making its way over internationally.
If Microsoft was so adamant in having the various Xbones be plain rectangular cubes, all they needed to do was have logos/textures printed on the side with different colors or fonts to make them stand out a bit. Crazy how so many models look nearly identical. Fav console is Gamecube! PS3 is up there too.
Gaming consoles before used to be so cool! back when I have play on the game cube and playstation 2 and even on the playstation 3 when those gaming consoles were awesome. But ever since with the 8th generation happened it make me not care for gaming consoles since I never like how bad and disappointing the playstation 4 sure is from seeing how Limit the storage sure is that I remember from seeing how the ps4 only have like 500gb which I honestly hate having to delete some games in order to play some newer games.. While I even know how the ps4 gotten a 1tb storage but it is still too small! even when you get a lots of games! that will have so much storage which I honestly do not like how Games now are getting too big where it is a problem when you would have a game console that would have such limit storage and I also never like how with the ps4 I honestly hate. How you can't play online unless you pay for a membership which isn't right to do that even for the people that are broke and I also never like the times that the ps4 lacks backwards Compatibility which I wasn't happy about that when I have physical ps3 games that I would want to play by putting them in my ps4 but can't and I never like the times in school before. The Switch feels like a mixture of the fun of the DS and the novelty of the Wii and i love it. With games that are now 7 years old (damn, really?) but dont feel that old, the system still feels like a new console to me. Around christmas i was debating getting either a PS5 Slim or a Steam Deck but opted for the steam deck bcuz it's basically a budget gaming pc you can take with you, that being said it's basically my vampire survivors machine. Will probably just splash out a grand on a good pc in the future so it can last longer than whatever the next gen is from Microsoft and Sony, particularly if both go all digital, it would feel pointless to get a console at that point.
The only reason i can think of to buy a ps5 is to play GT7 in VR. But you have to spend over a grand for this. And just for one game, this is just too much. And the Xbox series X ist just useless from a games standpoint. I have a PC and a bunch of the older Consoles and a huge backlog. I skip this generation and "work" with what i have.

Nintendo is set to announce Switch 2 in 2025 (it’s Nintendo, they took a year and a half to announce Switch 1) so release is most likely holiday 2025. I think those are close enough to both be 10th generation.
The 8th generation is the last good one in video games, of course it is far from perfect, but at least at that time they cared about creating the games and didn't keep adding microtransactions (look for example the Wii U), it was only 2017 and onwards that the decline began of video games with the popularization of fortnite
