I would suggest to those looking for this tablet to try and get the 6GB or even 8GB RAM version, like the one I have and to avoid the slower 5G version. I have the wifi version with 8GB and the CPU performance is identical to that of the S9FE+. Screen quality is the same but only 60hz instead of 90, but it has video out and UBS 3. Watching and writing from it now...

Avoid from 4gb ram 4g/5g versions. These are very laggy. Go for wifi 6gb+ versions or s9fe
May I know, what type of laggy? Is like from gaming, or other prescription?
@aiozo Specially multitasking. When taking notes while watching a youtube video and browser opened, lag is very noticeable. But if you want to just take notes, no problem. Didn't try gaming.

Hey Ivan, what would you recommend between Samsung S7 FE and Lenovo P12? Specifically for note-taking. Requirements are a large screen for importing PDFs, annotating them, and using a bit of PowerPoint presentations. No gaming or heavy usage.
Sir I am a Medical student. Sir I am very much confused between S7 FE and S9 FE as they comes with relatively same features with some pros and cons.
I want to use my tablet exclusively for watching video lectures and notes taking till completion of my course i.e 6-8 years.
Pros of S7 FE over S9 FE is larger display, Snapdragon processor as majority of people were facing problems with Exynos 1380 in S9 FE.
Pros of S9 FE over S7 FE is latest model which will receive updates for long times while S7 FE had received 2 major updates.
So Sir I am very much confused between these 2 tablets. So Sir kindly help me to choose the best one for me.

I'd suggest the S9FE in your specific case, since it's set to be supported longer, among other things.

I have tab s7fe 4/64 and the most laggy gadget i ever had! Not even par with my xiaomi mipad 4 plus 4/64 which is a 2017 tablet. I regret buying this!

I believe this is your best bet in terms of an 11 inches 5G good android tablet - given that it's a comprehensive package.

Best budget tab imo. But Samsung needs to make an FE ultra for those of us who don't need the all powerful processor or oled display but needs the bigger size display for drawing.

I saw the 64/4 for 198 at a local store. I usually never multitask, and when I do, it is only youtube and samsung notes side by side. I have a s6 lite 2020, would it be good for it. I don't stream media or anything on it. Mostly for notes, drawing, and reading pdf. I have the s22u for streaming and playing (I'm much of a mobile game player)

Im getting one shipped from dubai but unfortunately i could only find the 4g ram version i couldn't find any offers for 6 or 8g even soo i feel its worth it my use is usually light and i have seen many good reviews.

I've had this tablet for 2 years now and have been very happy with it. However, I've been debating on upgrading to the 12gb/256gb Tab S9 or the S9 Fe+, but can't decide whether or not to wait until later in 2024 to see if a Tab S10 is going to be released......I'm leaning towards waiting for the Tab S10

I wanted to ask, since this is Android 11 OS, how many years will the tablet last? Would it be worth buying it for around 400 pounds?
I just receieved the Tab S9 FE and it shocked me and i say this coming from a writers perspective. It wa a complete lagging nightmare. If you write and type fast and you are 3 sentences ahead already even with your well above average ability to type much faster than the average person, the Tab S9 FE is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU! It lagged so bad on me my first time and writing experience that i already have it boxed back up ready to send back to Samsung. The Tab S6 Lite 2022 may only be 60hrtz refresh rate but the snapdragon 720 doesnt lag and it can handle my speed in which I must get my thoughts and or words from my mind to print beyond quickly as can be. Its a great tablet but the Exynos 1380 samsung opted to use cant handle a writers speed and nor can i handle its complete utter stopping to think and take 15 seconds to catch itself up to me there is no way I could write that way. Now if you are using it to cosume media then it is probably great. Just dont throw anything heavy or intense towards it. I recommend the Tab s6 lite 2022!

That's interesting; I'm assuming that fact that we all use our tablets in different ways is the reason some of us didn't experience any major lags. I certainly don't recommend heavy work on it, but did not experience as much of a lag as you did - I will do additional heavy testing on my to see.
Dont listen to this guy, i would go for the p11 pro gen 2 over this, everything you want this tablet to do, the p11 pro gen 2 is better

it wil receive Android 14 and that's it... Updates are nice for new features, but are not important for app compatibility and security is a non issue on mobile devices as long as you are slightly tech saavy

I haven't had a chance to get my hands on it just yet, but I was planning on covering it. Despite now owning the tablet, it could work well with what you intend to use it for; it certainly is a powerful device for a midrange, given the chipset.

Hi, I am currently going into my 3rd year of Software Engineering and Data Science and am looking for a tablet so I can write digital notes. I want something that will last a while, as my old iPad Air 2, I have had for almost 8 years now. I have a Samsung S21, so am looking into buying a Samsung tablet. I am a hobbyist in video content creation and graphic design, and am looking into getting into some light gaming. Budget is something I am considering, as I want good performance though I am a student, so I have been looking at the S9FE, S8 or S7 series? What tablet would you recommend purchasing as a companion to my Dell XPS 13 laptop?
Go for the Tab S8. It will last a while, it is a very powerful flaship, and will be supported for a while.

That's wayyy overpriced! If you can't find it at a much much lower price, DO NOT do it - go for something else.
