Just this week I"upgraded" to the 4-year-old Galaxy tab a 8.4. Why? I have a large tablet that I use for work, but I've been looking for a tablet to use only as an ebook reader. A Kindle isn't going to work for me because of tablet has features that I have to have in my e-reader, such as a color screen and text to speech while I'm reading the book. I had an Amazon fire HD 8 but I was looking for something inexpensive that has full HD and yet is still compact around the 8-in range. What I discovered is that I could still get this tablet for less than $75. And it's working great.
I traded my S9 FE for a s10+ cause the deal was really good but I ended up selling the s10+ to buy another S9 FE. The screen might not be as good but it's still great and my battery lasts twice as long watching RUclips and Netflix . Can't see any performance difference, I am not editing video or decrypting nuclear codes, so it's more than enough.
having an s9 fe is the best choice in terms of getting the best specs for a good price. HOWEVER, you already bought an upgrade that provides way more than the great base specs the s9 fe gives. it would've been already good if you just stuck with the s10+ or went for its smaller counterpart so at least you could get a better chipset and longer updates while still maintaining the same proportions as the s9 fe. Imo, you pretty much just wasted your money going back to the s9 fe lol
It would be helpful to see these devices pushed to their limits, like some high-performance 3D examples such as loading a high-polygon model in NomadSculpt and showing the performance and responsiveness.
samsung really should ditch exynos, the only reason i stayed away from samsung tablets nowadays. loved my tab s7 Snapdragon 865+, after that, never had another samsung tab. now i am using ipad mini 7 and ipad pro m2.
How do you feel about the pixel tablet vs the S9 Fe? I'm looking at tablets mostly for basic usage and I don't have a need for anything extreme. I'm thinking mostly netflix, basic internet, maybe some light gaming. Those 2 are in my price range. a Stylus would be neat but I don't see it as critical by any extent.
Could anyone please help me decide between the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+/5G & the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9/fe? Mainly need it for Roblox, Minecraft, games. Trying to decide before the deals end! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!❤

I’m amazed that Samsung doesn’t make a small tablet with the performance of the iPad Mini.
because that would take the cut of their foldable phone market which is their more priority target market.

I have a tab a9 i used it more than my tab s9. Maybe because of the compact size. Wish they would make an amoled 8in with a midrange cpu.

i still use the tab s6 SM-T860.. its a beast. 6gbram, 128disk, amoled and the size is perfect. and is 5 year old..

i'm using Active5 and have no complain about device, but lack of 3rd party accessories

why not the base s9?

U were able to trade ur s9fe. Its not showing up as an option for me when i tried to trade in for a s10 ultra

I wonder how bad exynos 1380 is on tab s9 FE? is it laggy for moderately high usage
It depends on your expectations. I think it's fine for moderate use. But if you're used to flagship phones, it'll be slow in comparison, of course.
