- Lavenham is a charming village in Suffolk, England, one of the finest examples in the UK. There are around 350 timber-framed buildings listed as being of architectural and historic interest. Often Lavenham is used as a filming location. In 2010, under conditions of strict secrecy, scenes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 were filmed there. Let's walk the village and enjoy its beautiful views.
