Lets rebuild a local VTi engine from the ground up until start up and drive
Lucky the owner acquired the vti that had a very very fresh conditioned block despite the smoking issue everything checked out fine and well prior to machining of deck surfacing and honing
Everything checked out good in STD form so no unusual machining required
The disassembly and inspection of the engine as the car arrived is here

It was weirdly ported so I had to clean it up a bit to make it atleast work sensible bahaha

thanks brother! I think the cause n effect came from starting as a hobby on my own car cuz I enjoyed it and that never went away, the enjoyment 🤣
Many suggests to upgrade my block to D15b due to minimal ''Kalog" sound that I believe is coming from the bore, But I believe if my ph16a is to be rebuilt by you, it'll come back to it's miracoulous condition. I'll be there soon. I promise!
all engines with proper piston to wall has kalog 😂 plus the cost of surplus block + the cost of LTO change engine papers that’s actually more than the cost of a rebuild
btw what year Vti is yours and what city are you in?
@@SRDmotorsports '96 VTi all stock including box. I'm from Lipa Batangas but taking the car on your location shouldn't be a problem. Btw what are your Mode of payments? Cash lang ba or you take Credit Cards? haha my impulsive self might pay a visit sooner if may card payments ka lol

Mode of payment just bank deposit or cash unfortunately no credit cards (mapipilitan mag taas pag ganon 😂)
@@typeeff also to follow up my reply… 95% of the time it isn’t full payment up front … usually it’s madalas 50-55% Upon bringing the car and the rest is when it’s finished upon car pick up…

Sir, My MAP sensor is leaking something. I don't have any CEL. I also cleaned the TB and IACV but to no avail the idle is still rough.
As i check the Sparkplugs it seems like my engine is Rich.
Is it possible that my MAP sensor is faulty but not having CEL?

Sir, I got a problem on my Civic
After i adjust the distributor it seems like the tune burned on my chip is gone. No vtec, No Launch Control.So my mistake is when i adjust the distributor i didn't put it in scs mode. Can it be solve by mechanical tuning?
Tune won’t go away naman or won’t be deleted just like that
what did you mean by adjusting a half tooth off ??
y series and z series camgears are half a tooth off or 4.5deg off… like example
D16z6 oem camgear vs d16y8 camgear they are half a tooth off… = so on aftermarket adjustable camgears this must be considered

same if u see the many sohc blocks I built na video half nun manipis na “outside” ng lining…. This happens kase dati d nka coolant

nasa shop manual online… 53ft lbs… pero khit 40ft lbs lng wala issue kung tama pag assemble same as khit mag 60 ka if sablay ? Singaw pa din

Beetween head and exhaust manifold kaka overhaul lang ng unit
Pero di naman masyado madami yung oil boss
madalas people would say valve seals daw khit sa PADEK… pero the fact na pati plugs get fouled it’s most likely piston rings kung number 3, I mean khit bago… possible install error…
I mean d na Nashare or post sa PADEK fb group pero Meron dun ganun kilala dun na builder pero when owner decided ipacheck sa iba dalawang piston baliktad ung piston ring 🤣

Take note tumakbo pa sa ndra (Clark) ung example ko and kase mabagal pina check sa iba and ayun findings… (nka takbo na and wala smoke pero ganun)

It will never be exactly… pero as mentioned it would range from 50-55k
kaya never exactly the same? Kase never din naman sinabi true issue until pag nabuksan
-no overheat exp daw pero pag bukas Los thread head stud? = extra cost
-pag check crank no issue daw pero pag bukas na pa repair na pla kunya ng pulley

@@SRDmotorsports and tanong kona din po meron ako nafefeel na jerking or boging during cruising and sa idle bogging un idle crusing nararamdaman ko around 2k rpm steady already changed my fuel pump filter nacheck nadin dizzy and htw and na calibrated nadin tps and cleaned tb and map sensor still d kopadin mahule any ideas or tips sir
