Go Air First was rated as the "most hated airline" in a recent TimeOut survey. Good to see that your experience was a pleasant one - maybe it was the two slices of chocolate cake haha!
I agree with you, sir! It is one of the most hated airlines because it is very cheap and doesn’t serve any international destinations outbound India. I recommend you to choose vistara airlines if you want hi-fi services on board, such as free meals or complementary snacks. The two slices of cake that you saw in the video was his pre-ordered in-flight snack, not complementary.

GoFirst is unfortunately having high cancellation rates since the past few months. This is due to the problems it is facing with Pratt and Whitney Engines.
Unfortunately its having issues getting engines, Pratt & Whitney is facing lots of parts shortages from suppliers
Sadly this airline is now gone forever😔. Can't believe that an Engine Model was responsible for it.

Go First looks cool but I had a really bad experience. My father booked a flight from Pune to Ahmedabad 3 months ago. They canceled our flight 2 weeks prior and we had to pay double money. They gave a refund but it's not enough.
Same here brother, they cancelled our Delhi flight 2 nights before and then reroute us to mumbai. Not so convenient airline to fly with.
some 3-4 months ago they made it to the headlines for flying without the passengers, that might have happened in Bengaluru I can't remember clearly.

It's good that your Go First flight had no problems, I haven't flown one since the end of the pandemic. With a cash crunch and engine problems, this airline is frequently delaying and canceling flights. I always recommend people book another airline, even if it costs a bit more, unless they are the only airline serving the route - which almost never happens

Hi David, The Indian carrier Vistara is shutting down next year, so before that can you pls make a tripreport on its 787, there are not that many tripreports on youtube, it would be great if you can do that, thank you so much
It's not shutting down, it's getting merged with Air India as both the airlines are now owned by Tata group.

A lot of Indigo and GoFirst Aircraft are grounded due to the PW Engines issue. They should switch to leap.

Because I recently flew with Spicejet both from and to Kolkata and I found it very amazing, contrary to the online reviews and the reviews of some fellow aviation youtubers.

Edit: I too got the same volume of water of the same brand; I later asked the FA for another bottle of water, which they happily gave. ✌🏻✌🏻
I also flew spicejet in december last year. Flight was really amazing, but the issue was it was delayed and ground handling was poor.
@@travelandbeyonds my flight from CCU departed 30 mins late but arrived 5 minutes before at the destination. Meanwhile my return flight to CCU was delayed by 1hr, Spicejet sent me an email for the delay, which I liked. Yeah the onboard services were pretty good in both the flights. Even web-check-in process was pretty fine. I couldn't understand why some gave negative reviews. 🙏🏻

Great price. My daughter just flew Spirit Airlines from Houston to Atlanta for $26. You can only take a personal item. Carry on bags and checked luggage cost a fortune. How many tourists can travel with no cosmetics or changes of clothes?

DYK? GoFirst was GoAir before when I first used this air line from Kolkata to Guwahati. And I heard it is a very cheap airline that only serves domestic destinations and goes nowhere out of India.
Man those prices on the onboard menu are outrageous!

The prices are cheaper as compared to Indigo and Akasa Air. Only Spicejet has similar pricing.

Sadly, around 25 of Go First's fleet is grounded due to problems with the Pratt and Whitney engines.
Pass 5 years RR and PW engines had cause a lot of grounding

This is the international Airport, I saw Widebodies and the airport was huge.
Terminal 1 in IGI is nowhere near as good as this, it was a nightmare
Terminal 1 is currently under expansion mode.. try visiting it this time next year.

I have traveled every domestic airlines of india and some international airlines but go first is bad airline
Go air by far has the worst performance. 60-70% of their flights are cancelled or rescheduled. And they generally tell u just 24 hrs before. Rather take a bus to reach the destination than fly Go Air.

Go Air is garbage. Most flights are either delayed, cancelled or re routed. Service is bang average and prices aren't any lower than the others.
