Aerosmith are big fans of Zeppelin. I think they even helped induct them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This song is off their debut album. They came out firing on all cylinders from the jump. Check out You Shook Me or How Many More Times by them. It’s all good though.
Great reaction!! If you liked this song, then it is worth checking out all of Led Zeppelin songs. These guys are incredible!!! Keep going with the reactions
The drummer and singer were 20 years old when they did this album!!! The weird sound in the middle is Jimmy playing electric guitar using a cello bow. Check out the live version of this from msg 73, itl blow your mind
Greatest all around band in history. The band had not been together long at this point of Led Zeppelin but whenever and whatever they played magic happened. My first time hearing your reaction, I loved your Analysis
They really are the best band of all time.. please please please when you react to zeppelin again.. do How Many More Times live in denmark 1969.. when you see them live in a small setting you will truly appreciate their genius
Joe perry is a beast. Seen Aerosmith live and they were a tight sharply tuned rock band. I know they had their ups and downs but the performance i saw in 08 was amazing. As far as DAZED goes, its definatly the best song off their debut album and iconic for a reason. It never seems to get old.
The next part of that Aerosmith performance is also a cover of another song, which is something I love because Zeppelin would also do a medley of covers when performing live. First on How Many More Times (check out Royal Albert Hall 1970) and later as part of Whole Lotta Love (MSG 1973).
Refreshing to see an appreciation of the music, rather than like most other reactors that just put on a performance for their viewers. You certainly are a thinker. (If you like bass, try their song, `What is and What Should Never Be'.)
Jimmy wrote this version , it is a cover , for concert performance , also whole lotta love , same for concert performance's he did this song with the yardbirds.
That whole album, along with Led Zeppelin II, which came out as well in 1969, were an utter template for all hard rock bands that came after. Aerosmith were big fans, Steve Tyler was a roadie for Zeppelin's early on. If you you liked the studio version you should try it live, the best one for video is them at MSG in 1973, it is 28 minutes long and one of the greatest displays of musicianship ever. There are many live versions of varying quality on line but this song ran up to 45 minutes back in their hey day. Like Echoes from Pink Floyd, it is a landmark song for otherworldly guitar, especially live. I am lucky enough to have seen both, you are a changed soul afterwards. You look great today Sarah Rae, your makeup and nails are really well done, another reason to watch your nice videos. I love cats, too and have 3: Clawdy, Lzzy and Sadie, all awesome girls. This song and Pink Floyd's Time are so damn unique, in different ways but to think up stuff like this and make it happen in such profound and timeless ways, is the human race at its best. Have a good evening and keep playing Rock, best music ever! 🎵
Jake Holmes wrote this song. Very prolific songwriter he was! Wrote for Sinatra too! Zeppelin obviously made it their own…but Jake got songwriting credit after pressing Zeppelin. Rightfully so IMO.
“Did Led Zeppelin steal like a part of a song from somebody else like or are they like borrowing something?” Well the plaintiffs are happy because they made more money from LZ than the songs did on their own 💰😆
I would suggest your next Zeppelin song but why bother. You can pick any song and you can't go wrong. Very few clunkers in their catalog but a few exist.
This is another song from them that John Paul Jones doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's so instrumental in alot of their music. He is like forgotten member of the band and so damn talented.
No it's not Aerosmith! Lmao! Led Zeppelin came out way before Aerosmith! Aerosmith was influenced by Led Zeppelin! In matter of fact Steven Tyler was a roadie for Led Zeppelin the early years! And Steve Perry was a big fan of Jimmy Page and a lot of Aerosmith music is inspired by Led Zeppelin! So actually what you heard from Aerosmith was inspiration from Led Zeppelin as many bands were influence buy Led Zeppelin! Zeppelin changed the music scene and traded many great bands following Zeppelin!
No band in this day and age could ever compose music of this quality.
Not even close

Nobody better than Zeppelin!

Its just heavenly watching u drift away 😊❤😊
Great album. Such s voice
The GOATS! PERIOD! 😎 Great Take!
Could tell you really liked this one. So many good songs in their catalog, just to many to list. Just keep going.
This is from Led Zeppelin’s beginning ❤

Yes and the 20 minute version at Royal Albert Hall is also worth a listen.
Do the live version it will blow your mind.

Oh wow I'll have to check it out thank you.

Yes I do know it is a cover. I learned that after I uploaded it. Thank you for sharing.
It’s so cool to see young people who get led zepelin. I wish you could have been to their concerts like I was able to three times
Me too. I just bought 2 records of theirs as well.
You got a good ear and memory! This song the kind of song you just don't want to end.
Impressed you listen/ed
Wow ! You are really something. You remind me of me. lol. Quite a memory you have. Aerosmith might owe Zep some royalties there
ALWAYS listen to the studio versions first before doing the live versions.
excellent

The GOATs.
I'm so cofuzed now! Hajaja!
You will find something you dont like. But keep searching and you will be amazed
Get ready for beyond
He is heartbroken over a girl...she is haunting him still...fantastic reaction!
love love love
Hola,great reaction!!
Aerosmith - definitely early LZ disciples.
Review black Sabbath 😁😁

FOREVER Rockstars. The Mighty Zep. Not bad for early '69. What ya think?
You look dazed and confused, young lady but don't worry. We've all been like that in the rabbit hole.
I was only cause I knew a part of the song and thought joe perry came up with it. I solved it in the video so all good.
I would suggest your next Zeppelin song but why bother. You can pick any song and you can't go wrong. Very few clunkers in their catalog but a few exist.
I don't think there are any
You could literally put their catalog on pieces of paper and put them in a lottery drum and just pick one and it would be great!
This is another song from them that John Paul Jones doesn't get the credit he deserves. He's so instrumental in alot of their music. He is like forgotten member of the band and so damn talented.
This is a sexual encounter put to music
