In my 45 years of study on Snakes and Snake bites, first time I came across a doctor with exceptional knowledge on snake bite treatment in such a great details .. Congratulations, and thanks for such a wonderful informative explanation...
@@AETCMEmergencyMedicine Hope you are open to the doubts. 1. Your recommendation on washing the bite area with soap n water or applying ice? 2. Kindly enlighten me on the role of crepe bandage application above the bite site. Thanks.

Wish a doctor like you available in my local govt. hospital which is also 12 km away from my village. A 16 year old boy lost his life by a snake bite a week ago,he reached the hospital in 30 mins.
Unbelievable SIR your presentation.... Hat's of to you..... DIBYENDU MAJUMDER... from CALCUTTA NATIONAL MEDICAL COLLEGE....... Thank you &. Lot's of respect & love....
Only one thing I would like to add to the lovely information, the dentition doesn’t necessarily determine if the bite has envenomated or not. At times snakes don’t get a proper hold of the object during a strike so there can be a situation where only one fang may pierce or even just graze the skin like a normal scrape or abrasion misleading the diagnosis. it can easily be a cobra bite or any other venomous snake. Tourniquet can cause a compartment syndrome where constriction can cause Venom to concentrate in the area causing gangrene and amputation of the limb.
Very good explanation Thanks for your efforts 😊 it is very helpful for us, your explanation constitute all procedure with good description to deal with emergency.
Very speedy explanation! Only medical field scholars can grasp the explanations, common viewers might catch very little. Please reconsider in your upcoming videos. Overall, job well done! 😊🙏
sir now days i think...most of the indians know hindi... actually this information is really important for rural area more than urban...so please this type of awareness should bhi in hindi also. Thanks
👌👌great help to the students studying in colleges where detailed presentation of case is not shown. Hope you continue clinical cases like this. Thank you sir👏👏
Only neurotoxic and cardiotoxic snake bites as those of elepids like cobras and kraits can be helped with bandaging with moderately tight clothes. But cytotoxic, myotoxic and hemotoxic snake bite like those of vipers such as the Saw scaled and the Russell's vipers in India won't help at all but harm like increase in the chances of gangrene around the bite side.
Can anyone appreciate this guy effort to make video after his duty hour with his security guards 😄
