    Excellent bro, once on the morning rounds in my house job a professor asked the question about what is difference between different IV fluids in terms of composition and osmolarity and everyone including the post graduate trainees were clueless, thanks for explaining the concept precisely.

    Good presentation.I would like to point out that Normal saline is not normal because of the pH. It’s pH is 5.6 which is lower than our blood. Thanks

    as a patient with 6 or 7 surgeries in a year, 100 days of hospital and rehab, it's really interesting to have an idea what I'm getting when a bag is hung!
    D5, then, is not enough for normal energy requirement, without other intake... plasmalyte i did not know, or its BSS nomenclature.
