I always desperately wanted to perform intubation. I have tried so many times but failed again and again. It left me frustrated and I kind of felt I was incompetent. Today I intubated suscesfully. Thanks to my anaesthesia doctor for keeping faith on me.
I congratulate you on a valuable grounding in intubation - I was crapping myself when told to perform it on an unconscious patient - the aneathesatist mistook me for a medical student - scared me to death when he said " well go on then - keep her alive!"...always wanted to learn how to do it because it made me feel inadequate not being able to protect the airway...I was a nurse not a Doctor but I wanted to improve my ability to intervene positively - thank you for teaching me the basics.
Lot of respect for you doctors. At this young age doing great and tough things as a last option to save a patient life. Wish you could save many patients using all these complicated procedures
I don't know whether I'm gonna intubate a patient in my coming service days or not.... but the information you provided and the way you explained us the very minute things specifically was really outstanding 👏...
