Just started using this meter, I do strictly electrical diagnostics on late model cars. I use this over my fluke meters. They are very good meters at a surprisingly great price. I also repair modules to board level and only opt for fluke meters when repairing modules on the bench for higher count accuracy and refresh rates and testing capabilities but for on car diagnostics I use this meter
You’re supposed to wrap the leads around the outside of the meter - there’s channels built into the rim to hold the leads, that that loop secures them to the meter after you’ve wrapped them around.
Just got one keep the reviews coming so far its does really good the display really helps from all over the cab of trucks sit on dash and can move around and have clear sight of screen.
I just got this and I must say the app works perfectly, maybe it has been updated. Also I haven’t tried it yet but I think You are supposed to wrap the leads around the body of the meter and use the strap to hold it in place. But I agree it’s way too much money. It was on sale and I got a good train on my old DVOM so I got it.
I personally own this meter as well. The leads are garbage! I made the snap on dealer upgrade them to Pomona. I have eaten up a 3 batteries in a year. The huge color display is awesome! Overall I am satisfied with the meter. One other quirky part is the impedance reading takes a moment to stabilize. My go to meter is still my 15 year old Mac EM710.

12 away from 1k brother we need to get you over the mark love that meter eats batteries like crazy get the fluke leads much better
It looks like I will hit 1k on Christmas lol
I was concerned about battery usage, normal meters take a long time before the 9v battery dies. I thought this meter was rechargeable?

What is the clamp used for in that kit. It says spark plug on it
Rpm I think
Are you going to rummage around more or less than you did for this meter? Can wait I’m on pins and needles. How is aunt bee and opie?
How is the response time on this meter? Speed and accuracy is my concern.
When reading on the meter itself it excellent, when using the app there is a bit of a delay
How’s the battery life?
It's not bad. Although it is always beeping to remind you to turn it off, it turns off anyway
Do you still like it? Would you reccomend it?
Yeah I have no complaints with that meter. I really can't think of any problems I've had with it
Great product knowledge do you think you are qualified to talk about anything.
