I have the Klein meter and like it a lot. It came with quite a bit of stuff and didn't break the bank. If you get a Snap-on meter get a new one if possible, they have a 7yr warranty. Great informational video brother!
Great video Justin, I just got my first multimeter the other day and now just trying to learn how to use the different testing features......good job, thanks
I already have what I consider the Rolls Royce of meters, the Fluke 87-V, but there's someone on Ebay selling that Snap-On meter for $159. He has five listed at the moment.
good video man! i am going to make one soon about test lights! and will talk about the power probe and why it is fine but cant replace the test light! Cheers!
Thought you were live. How Do I message You? I made a ASMR War story! The Video Is Now up on My RUclips! ASMR War Story. Been wanting to do one for a while and I finally did!
Alright I know this is a long shot but any advice would be greatly appreciated, I have a 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6. I was driving it down the interstate and it suddenly started shaking and misfiring extremely bad and I lost my power brakes. So I get the truck towed home drain the oil and drop the pan everything looks fine. (Had good oil pressure) I buy a compression checker and all cylinders have around 150 besides cylinder 5 its reading 0. So I pull the upper intake and such to get to the valve cover, pull the valve cover off and the push rod is bent (believe it's the intake valve) and not under the rocker arm. So I ask my uncle who had worked on engines most of his life and he told me to try just replacing the push rod. So I replace the push rod put everything back together and it's running exactly like before. Shut the truck off pull everything back apart and the push rod isn't bent, but in the process of tearing it back down I noticed the intake runner on the upper intake for cylinder 5 was really wet. So I look down into the lower intake it's also wet and around the cylinder 5 injector is a puddle of coolant. It might be something obvious but I just cant think of what it could be. So again a basic run down; No compression cylinder 5, no vacuum to brake booster, coolant in upper and lower intake and around injector. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Andrew Baker Well if the damage was bad enough to bend a push rod and you might have further issues where the hydraulic lifter might’ve dug into the camshaft furthermore you could’ve had a bent valve on the cylinder head and the reason why you’re overheating is because the engine has to work too hard to compensate that’s just my guess without seeing it
Andrew do you have a compressor to put air down the spark plug hole into the #5 cylinder. Search leak down test. I would be curious where the leak is, was thinking the piston smacked the valve bending the rod, and the valve could be damaged but that is a guess over the internet and does not account for leaking fluid.
I have some leads by probemaster. Never will I use another again. I love these things. They feel awesome and they are very flexible. They have a wide range for both meters and scopes. With banana jacks and bnc.
When it Rains it Pours. When it pours it's monsuan and most the roads are closed due to flash floods. it's either a sprinkle or a River. No in between!
If you are getting started just get a $5 digital multimeter. Learn the same basics before you go buy the higher priced stuff. Has all the same settings. Even walmart has one for $10. Harbor freight has free ones but the leads are built cheap
sorry guy snap do not make there own multimeter they usa a british company call tpi with 3 year warranty www.tpieurope.com/digital-multimeters-dmms/183a-digital-multimeter/ look they are the same apart from the colour
