Hello Justin: Thank you for a superb presentation. You speak slowly and distinctly, as opposed to those who sound like an auctioneer at a cattle sale. You have in depth knowledge of the product & your demonstrations allow viewers to see EXACTLY what you are doing, & we have a cogent description as well. You offer possible alternative uses for various of the pieces, all of which adds to the appeal of the product. Thank you for a presentation well done.
Every tech needs this kit. There are a lot of different kits out there, the AES is better in many ways. The biggest difference is the thickness of the connection area. All of the other kits I have seen on the market have a very large plastic area by the crimp, as a result you cannot connect to many terminals side-by-side. The AES kit does not have this issue. The current loops are awesome and the kit is by far the best value out there.
Been wanting to buy this kit for some time now. I always come up with an invention to test, but this will make my life easier. Thank you for the video and to the designers of this kit. Great job!
Justin i've just received my kit this week and want to thank you for putting this video out. Very helpful that you showed all of its basic uses. as they say the sky is the limit. Stay well and safe Artie
@@matthewshanahanautomotivet4284 Thank you Matthew. I'd rather be learning, training or watching great guys on RUclips than the garbage on TV. I enjoy like minds for excellence. Helping customers by providing thorough and effective diagnostics. Been in this field for almost 30 years. Was a trainer for about 12 of them. Love the customers, the challenge, the training and learning. With Today's complex vehicles, causes us who care, learning never stops. Always have to remember to never forget to start with the basics. Example, friends 2016 Jeep Patriot was rear ended about 5 months ago. Since then, after repairs, it has stalled on him twice while driving on the highway. Very dangerous. He said CEL and all other indicators light up when this happens. First time it happened, he took to local parts store for them to check codes. None found. Then it stalled again last week while driving. I emailed him recall info for CMP CKP issues causing stalling. Then scheduled him to come over yesterday so I can do full system scan. Only TCM had a code. Battery/Interruption of power. Popped hood, look at battery. LOL, body shop left negative cable loose. Could move it with one finger. People make mistakes, thankfully our friend didn't get plowed into when it stalled on the highway.
Excellent presentation! I've been eyeing this kit for a while now, but didn't know if I really needed it over my self made ones from spare terminals. Well, you just sold a kit.
On the picoscope software, you can set up a mask with an audible alarm. This way, you will know when you have contacted a powered wire with the piercing probe without looking at the screen.
Damn this kit 8s a game changer. I have been looking at getting this kit for awhile but i didnt know it does all that! Thank you for the outstanding video, i'll be ordering the kit to compliment my multi meter and my AESwave uscope!
I guess it's the second generation. I just saw this kit while I was looking at aeswave.com to get some more new cool tools. The set up is red black and blue and yellow. Not like those nice colors. No big deal I just wanted to see something newer was added. So that's how u can use that variable resistor. If u can? Do u know of a link as to how j can learn more about resistors and how I can mimick the resistance of different sensors. I guess I'm asking to get more practice on electrical. I cant stop wanting to learn🤪
Jason Chavez yeah the no repeating color scheme was a slight update. Best suggestion I can give you is play with as much as you can. Once you have the description operation of a sensor and the voltage range, ohms law will let you know the resistance range if it’s not specified in SI. Most of the time on late model you get a voltage range.
so are all of the kits sold "gen 3" kits? i only see one option on the website.....just want to make sure that i will be getting the latest version. thanks
There are much cheaper Kits to be had on eBay and Amazon, I got a couple!! Buuuuut where the whole scenario goes south is if you are trying to stack as demonstrated in the Video. I recommend owning one of each. The traditional China Kits will work great but again, stacking inside a connector is hardly going to work for you. In my humble opinion the $120 difference is worth it if you do allot of probing.

Very comprehensive kit for sure. And I like that it puts all the probes and adapters in a single place. Very nice..

i got my kit a while back and it is the greatest asset in testing

I'm sold. I've been hearing good things about this kit and you sir just showed me.
Thank you.
Exceptional demonstration, I was only here to learn more about that kit and I ended up learning a few tips as well! Thank you.
I have this kit and it's awesome. I actually use it more than I thought I would.
ordered this kit a few days ago actually.... really excited to get it and put it to work
Thank you Justin and aeswave. Good job. I appreciate your videos. Have a blessed and safe week.
Billy, I love your dedication to professional development!

i wasn't planing to look at whole video but it is a very good video, thanks a lot
I've been looking for a set like this for a long time 😮😮😮😮

Well, you just sold a kit.
Great video Justin and thanks AESwave. 👍
Hands down one of the best videos I've ever seen on a product demo. Sub'd....

This is a great kit I have one my self 10 out of 10 for the kit
I have this kit. You answered some questions I had about some things in it. Great job.
Well demonstrated without the usual "ers & ums".
Fantastic kit and informative video , I will order one soon .. thank you sir

Great kit well worth the price.
i have one fantastic kit a real must have
What’s a good multimeter you recommend for Automotive use?
Hey we need an adapter or a AMP loop for the new side contact fuses
If you're referring to the low profile mini fuse, it is already in the works along with 3 other fuse loops that should be available soon, separately
@@AESwave Can the U scope be used to graph AC signals such as 2 wire crank sensors?
@@joelopez40oz23 Yes it certainly can. Just don't plug it into an wall socket with 110v. AC inductive sensors on vehicles are fine.
This is a decent gentleman.
dang... i need to get this kit...
Thank u Justin. This kit looks so much more nicer. I got the regular one with the red and black colors terminal leads. ☹
which kit do you have Jason?

@@bav-lab3584 thank u justin. Gotta look more on ohms law
Jason, here is a video that I used the resistor for:

Great video!

the current kit is gen 3, if you order one that is what you will receive. gen 1 and 2 kits were 1-3 years old
How much was this kit back in 2019?
great job
Nice. According me, that potentiometer has to have male/female jack on his ends.
It would be nice if you could buy one I've been waiting for at least a month or 2 to order but not in stock.
Ordering mine
Justin would the uTest Advanced Terminal Test Kit be workable with the Uscope or just larger more expensive scopes?
The uTest kit is compatible with any scope of multi meter that uses a 4mm banana plug test lead or socket.
Thank you great video
Price???
Just what I need
You're not using the resistor to mimic a TPMS sensor. A TPS sensor on the other hand...
Haiii ... may I know how to get this kit due to i from Malaysia ... i mean i want buy this kit.
www.aeswave.com international shipping is possible.
3:53 Why would you pierce wire? Considering these are professional tools, why would you jeopardize cutting strands of wires upon piercing the shield?
Because sooner connectors need to be plugged in while testing. You can either back probe or pierce the wire to be 💯 sure you've got good connection

the suspense is killing me ...
just what will be next ..??
Want one😡
When you said Male to Male Bananna, Straight, the childish side of me said "that doesnt sound very straight to me". 😅
I'll definitely be featuring these on my channel once I get a set... Might be a while yet... But I'll get to it!
Would make a good video, showing these in action, out in the field!
When I get them, I'll make an "unboxing"...
