Rip New Jack he was my favorite wrestler
I remember Homeboy and New Jack. They were my favorite team for a hot second. I had no idea how dude got the name Homeboy. After they dropped the belt, the next thing I knew, Jack was in SMW as a member of the Gangstas. I also wondered why he cut only one promo in the USWA. Lawler was the best promo wrestler in the business before New Jack got to SMW.
I always wondered what happened to Homeboy. He had some skills. That was before PG-13 was formed. He would have been a natural with them.
@@nubreaks2 All those groups came after The Gangstas! The nation of Domination was Vince Version of the Gangstas after Jack refused to sign with WWF... D Lo Brown was in the original SMW Gangstas ! Orignal idea for WWF Version of the Gangstas was to rename then the Nation with Jack, D Lo and Ron Simmons as leader of basically Jacks group plus Vince didn't want Mustafa so Jack kept the team going and went to ECW... B4 Charles Wright was called Karma in WWF b4 became the Godfather, but he was renamed Mustafa after Karma, coincidence I think not.
He changed the look of wrestling and how promos were delivered... Rock in Wrestling was replaced by HipHop LA style street gang! Everyone copied Jack! From DX to NWO Hogan Nash Hall XPac all started doing their versions of Gangstas! Facts ! Road Dog all of them. None were cutting promos at earlier times of their career! Jack was that way from his first debut! SMW! The Dudley's ripped him off blatant stole his whole style, they were put together as a less violent version of ECW Gangstas! And apart of the guys Paulie built for vince! Remember Devon was feuding with his Dudley fam... Vince needed a attitude team of guys who would do bizness New Jack wouldn't do bizness Vinces way.... Notice the Dudley's name belonged to Vince, Paul Heyman was always in bed with WWF! He hated WCW and Bischoff and helped Vince with becoming the only show in town! Heyman massage the ECW fans thinking he was against WWF but not true! Paulie definitely set most ECW stars up to fail especially Jack, with his encouragement of being ultra violent!! On the first WWF Invasions he had all the guy's with him who he was going to pick! to be the ECW guys who would eventually end up in WWF ... Heyman is as slimy as everyone says he is, he played us all and that speech he did for New Jack was fake as hell! That was a shot at Jack to be honest! They painted him to be this uncontrollable thug because he exposed both Vince and Heyman for the devil's they are ! Trust me they could have shown his matches but didn't want to, it wasn't genuine!
