I was very surprised on how good this interview was and how much Jack put over SM W. I really hate that in the last 12 months we have lost Tracy Smothers and New Jack. I mean neither guy well guys you could call a young man anymore but they certainly weren’t old man either. I’m glad that this interview has come out after New Jack passed away because it’s very nice for all of us old SMW fans to get to hear an interview like this. Rest In Peace New Jack and thank you for the years of entertainment you gave us.
It is Sad how many of Wrestling's greats are passing away!!! Tragically Dan Mirade passed away in either march or April of this year [ 2022] I don't know Dan Personally but Am so Sad. I offer my Condolences to the family of Dan Mirade and the Family of Jerome Young. 🙏🙏

New Jack is a hardcore legend. Tracy Smothers, a legend in my neck of the woods, was living in the So. IN area back about 2015 or 16 and visited the store I worked at on occasion. One of the coolest people I have ever met in my life. RIP Tracy and New Jack you guys are missed.

I saw Jack WRESTLE in USWA and SMW. I don't understand those who buried him by saying that he didn't know any holds. That's an outright lie. He wasn't Ricky Steamboat, but I guarantee that he could wrestle just as well as Austin.

Austin was a great technical wrestler before his neck injury forced him to change his style to more of a brawler style

I remember New Jack in the North Georgia Wrestling Alliance really well. He, Mustafa, Big Bully Busick and Marcus Bagwell are the only ones to make it big from there. I liked that little promotion there.

New Jack's promos in SMW are my favorite promos ever. They were almost motivational and inspirational while still drawing heat. Every line was electric.
When you geeked and still able to give a great interview. That fire hit hard and that's why New Jack is and will always be a legend. RIP.

a lot of people don't like the so called garbage wrestling, the hardcore stuff, but i love new jack, he was one of a kind, a unique character. Always entertaining, and actually, i think he's a big part of why shoot interviews are so popular today, he was one of the first ones to have really good shoot interviews that went viral all over youtube and stuff.
And believe it or not, the man could actually do a real wrestling match, there is footage out there from smoky mountain.

Was this Jack’s last interview before he died? He seems a little slower, a little more calm and maybe a little off in comparison with other previous shoot interviews. Not a bad interview at all, but he seems slower and, I wouldn’t say more composed, but not as New Jack as he usually is. I wish he was a bit more composed and in control of himself over the years because he gave great promos, was a HEAT seeking missile (meaning he drew mad heat wherever he went), and was an adequate worker who was fearless.
It would’ve been nice to see him get a chance in a bigger promotion to see what he could have done.
Jack was truly violent, and I would surmise he had a violent upbringing or was abused in his past considering how quick he was to jump to real and dangerous violence.
In a business where your first objective is to supposedly protect your opponent, Jack would mostly protect himself, and lord help whomever was across from him if they didn’t cooperate.
I love listening to New Jack and think he’s one of the few wrestlers who shoot 100 percent honest in these interviews.
My favorite story he told was how much Terri Runnels loved to give him rimjobs. You could tell it was true based on her reaction, even though she denied it, and the way he told the story was off the charts equal parts offensive and hilarious.
Man... II never really liked New Jack throughout most of his career, but then he finally calmed down, became humble, honest, and seemed to turn into a genuinely decent human being.... and within months, he was dead. I guess this world wasn't ready for a kinder, gentler New Jack.
