not really, theres plenty out there that shows his other side, plus this wasnt necessarily wrestling related so he didnt bring his golden shovel with him to this interview
Seems like a real genuine guy, who found a career he absolutely lives and dies for. Good for him.
He seems like a very down to earth, humble guy. Really enjoyed this interview.
Unlike many other guests in that segment, Triple H had so much to tell. This bit could have been a lot longer.
he is not a drug abuser which vastly helps with memory.
@@PhillipCummingsUSA Because steroids aren't drugs
@@MysteryMouseketool Well Triple H came after the whole steroid trial with Vince and the WWF, it's why people like Bret and Shawn started to be promoted because they didn't have the big muscle-bound look. Paul was just in REALLY good shape at the time and he still is, and since he's also a contracted performer, he's subject to the wellness policy, meaning he's not allowed to use those substances at all.
ChaoticMeatball Look at photos of triple h returning after his first quad tear and tell me he wasn’t on steroids at least once in his career.
Ur Bad Kid Oh after the injury he definitely was. But that was the only time
Vince:Who is this guy
Triple H:Watch this (marries his daughter)
Tyler Smeltzer 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now he runs the business 🤦🏻♂️😂😂
Pro gamer move
@@skogen_takeheimens he is indeed "The game now".It runs on his commands.
Tyler Smeltzer technically you just said triple H married his (own) daughter, you probably should have said marries Vince’s daughter.
Trips probably has tons of hilarious Vince getting mad storys.
Stories

GOOD SHIT, PAL
When he talks about naturally becoming “The Game,” that’s why that name stuck because it was organic. Today, they try to force a nickname on everyone and none of those stick.
Unless good ol JR gives you the alias during a PPV it doesn't count.
Not true. They still call me “The Glue” even though I hung it up years ago.
Except for "The Man."
Not true. The kids in my high school called me lunchbox demon because I stole food out they bags and that STUCK even my momma call me it now
"You can answer with fact or fiction".
Triple H:
"Nah i think im gonna tell stories."
He does say elaborate
@@stevescott1962 he also says tell stories too, so Triple H did so.
It was entertaining asf
I get more joy put of watching the interviewer.
Hes clearly a lucky fan who gets to talk to a titan in the business.
Like him or not. Shovel jokes aside, hhh is a titan in the industry.
I've been going back and replaying WWE 2K16, because come on, the Stone Cold showcase is amazing. HHH was arguably the best heel of the Attitude Era, he made you hate him but you loved to see him come out to wrestle.
Props to you from this HHH mark. 🤘🏽
Facts
Triple H has and always will be my favorite wrestler.Such a legend and I’m so glad he’s still involved in the business
Triple H sucks at booking and production work
The relationship those two had back then (Hunter and Shawn) is still IMO the epitome of what a real friendship is... they stuck with each other from day one and Shawn was a HUGE part of HHH’s success
Hhh was so hated by us , the 90's kids because we never knew everything was scripted.. he did his antagonist role very well..
Same thing with Jack Gleeson... Dudes are so great while delivering their roles that you actually get to believe that they're such scumbags but then again, they just love to do their stuff...
I can't speak for you man I really like triple h for whatever reason couldn't tell you what it was but I was always a triple h fan
@@baronsamedi4603 especially the sledge hammer
Man i always loved him
just go back and watch clips of his entrances, HUGE pops every time, just look at the crowds, the signs, TONS of Triple H signs. No matter if you're heel or face, if you entertain in the ring, you will have fans.
It was an honor to go to the same wrestling school as he did. Kowalski made us all legends and motivated us in ways you can’t imagine.
"They do get that wrong sometimes"... this sentence is so satisfying now😂. I can't imagine a Fact or Fiction without him saying that
Triple H is a student of the game. A pro wrestling fan as well as a professional wrestler
Well now also a minority owner and EVP of the biggest wrestling company
Yes he's self taught
@DemonKnightOhara The Real "Undertaker"🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wonderful job on the interview. Questions let us really learn more about him and your interaction was genuine and not fawning. Wish most interviews were like yours.
I've always liked his interviews. He's a genuine guy, and a wrestling fan at his core.
They should do Undertaker: Fact or Fiction
All Facts
69th like. Nice
How many lives do you have? YES.
Undertaker did the hot wings show 😝😝
"When vince is mad, his eyes change." I lol'd when triple h said that. We've all had moments like that, but i bet vince looks hilarious when he gets in that state of mood.
Reptilian
Damn..lmao 😂😂😂
Just watch the end of the Rumble where he tears both his quads. According to reports, that's at least top 3 most angry he has ever been, both in and out of Kayfabe. From the moment Cena and Batistas feet touched the ground, till about 2am the next day, he was just a ball of fury.
ddcs0s tiny shrivelled balls cause of the roids lol
@Baph Omet ah you love it, dont pretend you dont
HHH is such a good bad guy in WWE but I really like him as a real dude. He kicks ass. I love this.
This was a fascinating conversation. I absolutely wish this was longer. BTW, Andre doing the Pedigree is terrifying!
You can tell there’s so much he’d love to say about his time in the business.
There’s a fantastic shoot interview in HHH just waiting to come out.
Probably one of the best fact or fictions Loudwire has done in terms of elaborations on questions,, very insightful ... very easily could be a part 2 to this. 👍
Fantastic interview. This is how you interview HHH by letting the man talk. So cool
Thank you HHH and WWE for allowing us to hear Motorhead almost every single week now for 20 years! R.I.P Lemmy! \m/ \m/
This so awesome having grown up in the 1970s watchuing the WWWF in Southern New England - Chief Jay Strongbow, Andre the Giant, Bruno Sammartino, etc... Triple H is such a great coinversationalist in his own dry way...
He's a good communicator. Very succinct!
Triple H: guess they dont like me..
Years later....
Triple H: HI DAD!
#Winning
Fun fact: they do get that wrong sometimes.
👌
Nice bojack costume.
but is this fun fact, in fact, wrong?
@@ausvstheagenda Not very fun then, is it?
It has never been wrong!
Hahaha:
HHH: I'm just going to say Fact or Fiction
Paul: STORRRRY TIME!
I think hhh is the best guy to interview because he can always come up with a story you never heard before.
Those last few words.. absolute legend! So I’d be a liar if I pretended that in my younger years I was a fan of this artistic sport. I was just some army guy that was honored enough to be with some amazing men that changed the world. Later in life I learned more and then later yet when I had sons I became a fan (never was the fan he deserves but I still had respect for his story). I respect this hero’s honesty and his desire to lift up others. I wish all the best of wishes, good health and all the best to you and yours!
His story of the birth of "The Game" reminds me of how Becky became "The Man." It was just something simply said in a promo with no intentions of taking off, but did.
I wouldn't expect to hear that any time soon. Ric Flair caused a big stink about that
Becky stole from Flair, Hunter stole from Shane Douglas.
We grew up with these legends, during the time these stories were happening and it's so amazing to listen to this first hand account of the tales and fights that made our childhood great. I hope the generations that come after us experience the same thing.
Best fact or fiction yet. He’s amazing at telling the stories and the clips threw it over the top.
if you are a kid of the 90´s, this is so much fun to listen to
he probably can fill books with his storys and background informations
i was fortunate to see him live while they were on a EU tour
Incredibly detailed and informative answers for every question.
This is an outstanding interview.
As a father, I absolutely LOVE the story of Strongbow, football, and sitting on his dad’s lap.
Graham “they do get that wrong sometimes” Hartmann
Yeah, they do get that wrong sometimes.
He'll always be Gruhammed to me.
I could listen to HHH talk for hours... love this guy
It was thanks to watching WWF in the 90s/early 2000s that I first heard and got into metal/rock music from the songs they played in the PPV promos and entrances theme songs 🤘
That was a very good interview!!! I like the wiki fact checks as well!!! Well done A+
ahh man a great guy! that whole era from 99 to about 2003 had so much talent and he's arguably the greatest heel of all time.
🤘🏽
Now we need Stone Cold. He’s my fave next to the Undertaker. It’s difficult to hate Triple H as a heel because he was so likable back then.
Have you never watched or listened to Steve 's podcast ?
I've been waiting forever for this bro! My brother and I were obsessed with DX when we were kids!
i can listen to these stories all day coming from a die hard old school wrestling fan. this new wrestling i can get into but back in the day i was glued to the tv every monday and thursday!
I wish this video lasted for an hour, I love triple h interviews, he is such a good guy
He’s got the northern New England humbleness you don’t find anywhere but there.
Triple H’s voice starting to sound like Vince’s now.
Tyler Dokis steroids deepen your voice over time
Thanks for not spelling it Triple HHH.
MizzzyMike no age does
Probably from yelling at people, he does Vince's job now just on a smaller scale.
Age. Work. Stress.
Maybe it's due to hanging out with him for nearly 30 years but he sounds a bit like Shawn Michaels, even has a similar cadence and general tone of voice.
He's wrestled with a crushed larynx before. It deepened his voice quicker.
In the fall out of the Curtain Call, how he came through that was amazing, HHH says that Vince warned him he would have to eat plates of shit and lots of it...
And boy did he eat some shit, the way he got through that and what he went on to become, for me, makes him one of the greatest of our generation
Triple H has been one on the best wtestler interviews they've had for wikipedia fact or fiction. He actually had stories, and wasn't just straight to the point. Great video
I was actually avoiding this video cuz it kept popping up in my suggested videos, but I was only interested in watching these fact or fiction vids about musicians. But I finally watched it, and it's one of the better ones I've seen, very well done.
I would love to see shawn do this as he is my favorite and my childhoods hero in wwe. He was always the goofy one and not taking anything serious what made him just so easy to relate at a teenager.
I love this man I could listen to H talk for hours.
Same
Triple H sucks at everything nobody shouldn’t take his advice
8 minutes in and Hunter shows why he's the best Wrestler in history. I'm glad I lived to see his climb to success. My grandfather loved him too, he'd definitely be proud too. I respect no one over this guy
Same
Likewise. #AllHail
Not even close to being the best.
The best wrestler in history?!
Wtf?!
Not even close, but he IS one of the smarter ones by getting tied into the McMahons
If he didn't bang stephenie no one would know who he was.
Why does triple H look like the default nord from skyrim
"I used to be a wrestler like you until I took an arrow to the quad"
"I used to be a wrestler like you until I took an arrow to the quad"
“Bret had called us a bunch of degenerates (but he had said it backstage)”
😂 😆 😂
Legit looks like a final boss.
Great story about Paul sitting in his Dads lap to watch Chief Jay Strongbow. This is what young boys so desperately miss out on when the Father is absent.
So true
I mean he's the definition of the phrase, "Your wife calls me daddy too."
*Daughter
Giorgos Daispyros he’s as fake as they come
James Gallagher how?
@@jamesgallagher3317 how please explain I mean he did blow a quad then finish a match which included taking the Walls of Jerico the guy is probably the only real thing behind the scenes right now
Hunter is the kind of guy who could start a night by telling stories and finishing a month later.
One of my most favorite wrestlers. A great man in and out the ring
My all-time favorite heel. I loved the metal vibe he brought to the WWE at that time, even before Lemmy's song showed up.
when did they stop eating hot wings on this show?
jared rayfield shortly after Shawn started on the roids and grew a beard.
I laughed at this one😂
go halos!
@@jude_ nah, I'm a Mariners fan. I just had the truck in a car show at the stadium.

It's time to play the game!!!
We need a 2 part of this
Absolutely love the bit where HHH is talking about the stuff they got away with a Vince MM was saying they are going to get thrown off of the air. Brilliant
Triple H: “Actually that was very accurate”
Also Triple H: “ I don’t know if I was 5”
The older I get, the more I love Triple H. He really seems like the best.
I look forward to the day where Conrad starts a podcast with Triple H a few years down the road. The guy's had one of the most incredible journeys in WWE history. From unknown, to running the company (soon enough, anyways)
Graham is star struck! I love it! HHH is a good dude. I met him at a Waffle House in Arkansas back in 02 and he was super nice and a complete gentleman. Much respect.
That explanation of how D-Generation X started was just epic
He was the OG Chael Sonnon if there’s any UFC fans in here. The Antagonist that you couldn’t help but love that was controversial. He’s a legend and he’s a true vet to the business. He molded a lot of superstars. 95 was the year I was born. Much love to anyone before me who remember the 90s better than me. You guys had the best of the business
16:01 Triple H talks Motorhead 🤘🤘
That’s what’s UP🤘
I only came here for Motorhead chat
As a person who's passionately IN LOVE with NXT every single week, and a big fan of Loudwire and the ForF videos, I couldn't click the play button faster than I did when I saw it in the recommendation section.
Nice to see HHH answering questions and being honest.Need to see Him do more of this, look forward to many more.
Great interview and interesting to see Triple H on here
Goosebumps through out this whole interview. Learning the back story about some of the best moments is pretty legendary.
Get Undertaker to do this, since he's very open to interview and podcast now
