On Slash's ID for eye color it just says aviators
hyper biscuit LOL!! 😂 I can say I have seen his eyes. They’re brown lol
I’m Dead😂😂😂😂
For hair it says "Hat"
Don't do it man, I got interested and searched for images of slash without hat and aviators. He looks weird.
Wait..he has eyes?
I bet slash sleeps with his sunglasses
botman you are probably right
amibanani yeah he does
Only because sunglasses beg to sleep with Slash.
amibanani with Kerry King
Plus 🎩
Slash was born with a deformity called “aviator eyes”.
Its a self conscious thing. I wear sun glasses all the time to hide behind them. Not saying that Slash does the same but he does seem like that type a dude
Sydaball no you’re right. He a pretty shy and introverted guy and he said that beginning his musical career when he’d go on stage he’d wear sunglasses to hide from the crown kind of. Now it’s just become his thing
Yes
I remember an interview where Slash says he wears them because of the lights on stage.
"that must be a pretty rare thing, like ive never heard of anyone else doing that" says me whos wearing aviators watching this at 11: 30 at night in my room w no lights on
this man's funeral better be an entire concert of bands who were inspired by guns and roses.
Avenged Sevenfold would definitely be there
As much as i think its gonna be an anniversary that the world is gonna remember, the new Woodstock!
I just dont want to think about that day. Slash git ne to play guitar and i legit dont know what ill do if he will just one day stop making songs for me to push my limits with, and get better
That would be like 95% of rock bands and I'm being conservative
@@diegojosegonzalez so probably a 5 day concert. And I am being conservative

Lol. He must be balding.
I highly doubt he’s balding. He has a lot of hair. He’s a legendary long haired man. Bret Michaels is balding and wears stuff to cover its. But Slash’s hair hasn’t changed. I’m 36 with long hair and losing it scares me lol. I think I’m good tho it would of happened already.
Am I the only one satisfied by how well Slash's t-shirt matches the Loudwire logo in the lower right?
Damyan Momchev no but thank you for pointing that out!!! That's pretty damn awesome!!!!
Yes you are

So would he.
@@nitro_001newman2 so true lmao
Slash: I want to play bass
Teacher: No you won't... for God sake
Diego Alejandro “ did you say baGUITAR!”
thank god for that guitar teacher
Think about those advices (probably happening all the time) we will never hear about.
@Diego Alejandro I know only love cats plan bass! So nice ! 😅😅😅
Sounds like he didn’t WANT to play bass. He was relegated to the bass until the teacher steered him in the direction that he actually wanted to go. He never owned a bass.
Slash seems to be such a mature guy. Notice how at the need he reached out to shake the hosts hand instead of the other way around. That represents class in my opinion. He seems to be like a great guy at this point in time.
Excellent observation. So why does Axl regard Slash so poorly?
Syclone0044 Because Axl is a twat.
Professional.
Tyler Hicks or maybe because you weren’t there to see what happened when the two had their falling out so you don’t know what Slash did that made Axl so mad, dumbass
@@Syclone0044 from what I heard. Slash worked with Michael Jackson (a suspected child molester) and Axl was molested by his father when he was a child
Random 'Slash fact'. I live in a place called Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. It's where Slash lived inbetween being born in Hampstead near London & moving to Los Angeles. A couple of doors down the street from me lives a woman who used to babysit for Slash when he was a kid. Thanks to the wonders of Social Media she got in touch with Slash a few years back, told him all about the bedtime stories she used to read to him etc... to prove it was her. Now, whenever he is playing in England he always makes sure she's on the VIP list so she can get backstage access & meet up with him again.
Up the Potters!
that's so sweet!
Lemmy lived in Stoke On Trent too

Wholesome as hell.
Using the latest, most precise laser technology, we have managed to finally remove slash's top hat.
And then we found the baseball cap
Slashs top hat was stolen from him. Not sure how but he said in an interview that he had it stolen. Ill try n send you the link n post it for you

Can we just appreciate the fact that Slash is over 50 yrs old is still fucking ripped as fuck?
Right? I'm only 20 and not even close to being in that good of shape! So kudos to slash for keeping in shape.
I heard he used steroids
nahh
lol no. @Jedi Mercury
Can we just appreciate steroids for older gentlemen
Slash is like the opposite of Gene Simmons.
John van Gurp What’s so bad about Gene?
I just saw the Gene interview, and I dont know what to think other than separate the art from the artist. He is 50% asshole and 50% tolerable
@@LeftHookLegend he's a self centered, egotistical asshole who thinks he is the best thing to ever happen to humanity
@@LeftHookLegend He's a total douchecanoe.
Nolan Nez Yea I figured it out that same day😂. But I love the guy tho.
Slash sounds quite bright, reasonable, fairly personable, and a classy guy. He didn't swear once.
Slash is so cool. He's humble and just down to earth, not full of himself. Good guy.
To this day I have never seen Slash's eyes.
November Rain music video shows his eyes briefly during the first solo.
Just google it lol :D
I've never seen Joey Ramone's eyes.
+Ballbreaker 2112 it might be better that you don't. Don't get me wrong, I love the Ramones. However Joey looks like Howard stern with downs.
Usually when someone always wears shades they look weird without them but not Slash , he looks good with or without. But Slash without the top hat is strange lol .
Thinking about it now, Slash has come close to death many times. I'm very glad the legend is still alive.
For a living legend, this man is an absolute gentleman with no pretense or ego whatsoever.

Not r/whoosh, but I think the reason why he wears shades so often is because he is so used to it because of the lights on stage that he just leaves them on.
Yes
I love how down to earth Slash is and how honest he is about speaking on personal music issues.
"I was told I had 6 weeks to live and my first thought was how am I going to make up those missed shows" what a cool ass dude.
That handshake at the end has got to be a check on your bucket list of life. :P
it surely is on mine
as famous as Slash is he seems down to earth as far as I've heard for a guitar icon.EDIT:5/8/2020, WOW! 2k thumbs up! Thanks a lot everyone & stay safe during this pandemic!
+Roy Martin From what I have heard by people in the music industry he is supposed to be down to earth and mellow.
+Ynffy likewise. I'm no guitar hero or rock star but growing up here in San Diego County, being so close to LA and the LA music scene. the bands I've been in the past, past bandmates have known him or met him and that seems to be the consensus. Have a great holiday dude.
Yes very much so 😊
Yep, I've heard the same across the board. Seems like a great guy to be friends with.
+Roy Martin Slash is after all a pretty shy guy by his own account. He's also mentioned that he doesn't have that many people he would call friends but rather many acquaintances and people he likes working with. I'm guessing that plays a part in him remaining down to earth.
I remember reading in a very old interview that Slash said the reason he always had his hair covering his eyes or had sunglasses on because he was so shy and that was his way of not making eye contact with anyone.
He was also very self-conscious about his racial identity when he was younger. Nobody should ever feel ashamed of who they are or be put in a box of expectations for it. I'm sure many black rock-n-roll artists (Phil Lynott, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Jimi Hendrix, Doug Pinnick from King's X, Bad Brains, Fishbone, Living Colour) all got crap from both sides for simply being who they want to be.
No, I remember an interview with him saying he wore the sunglasses because of the stage lights.
@@insidebarrysmind no in his autobiography he said it was because he is shy.
@@theonewhoknows2 Then he either lied in the autobiography or the interview. Bright Lights. He also said camera flash. The interview I saw is on youtube. Watch it for yourself. It's called: Slash on why he wears sunglasses.
When I got my pacemaker/defibrillator a year and a half ago after my heart started failing, it made me happy that Slash has a pacemaker too. I’m only 36 so it kind of sucks but I’m fine now. I have a whole new outlook on life though. 11 years clean in August for me, Four little kids and a cool as fuck wife. Career as a sculptor and hair halfway down my back. Life is good. If it’s not good, just keep doing what you wanna do and you’ll get there.
I can't believe Slash is that down to earth, the dude seems like an pretty nice guy.
Yes actually he is, since GnR time...he is a mellow kind of guy, he seldom react and he seldom talks...
The interviewer is pretty cool! He is doing an awesome job! I haven't enjoyed an interview so much for a long time! Thanks this video!
Ich bins Danke - G
My thoughts exactly! He did not interrupt the interviewee as some others do, he was sufficient in whatever Slash was talking about, and the conversation between the two was sincere. Awesome job!
And to think, when he was in kindergarten, Slash was doing world tours!
That is a good point. The interviewer is relaxed and makes the whole thing like a lunch conversation with a cousin. Nice comment.
I agree! I noticed slash responds so much better and has more insightful interviews when the person interviewing him is like this guy... Well done mate!

One of the greatest guitarists ever and what a classy guy
I had the fortunate opportunity to see Slash play a concert up close(at about 30 feet) and watched intently. He was great ! At one time I thought he was just some burned out rock star but that night changed my mind... ! He came out for the encore (with that top hat on !) with that black double neck and played both parts of PF's "wish you were here"... One rock memory I will always have.... a BIG thumbs up to that guy... !
What great place to be at just the right time. I love to hear great artists pay homage to other great artists by covering their songs.

+Eric Hanaway Why would Slash ever regret not joining Poison? GnR was the biggest rock band in the world during their peak. They sold out every stadium across seas. Poison never reached that status.
Any normal person: 6 days or weeks?! Oh my god
Slash: *touring the world * I got through it it’s all good
Plus he figured out that once he had the pacemaker he could do as much oxy as he wanted because should he OD, the pacemaker would just restart him. He actually burned through one or two of them due to "frequent use".

Speaking from personal experience with Slash I can tell you that he is exactly the way you see him in this interview. He's extremely mellow and incredibly humble. When I was first introduced to him I was scared to death but after spending time with him and his family I truly felt honored to call him my friend. He hosted an event for me at his house and it was amazing!! His father, Tony is incredible as well. I have some awesome pictures from my time in Los Angeles with him. I should make a video to share my wonderful memories with all of his fans. He's one of the smartest people I have ever met. His passion for animals is so important to him. Especially, Billy the elephant. We went to the LA Zoo for an interview and to see him interact with the elephant was truly breathtaking. I am so glad that you recognized how truly down to earth he is. He loves coffee!! I guess you can tell in this interview:-). Just thought I'd share my experience with this amazing human. 😊
