Had Slash over for a brief interview(he's a very busy man). Got to ask about his new album Orgy of The Damned (out 17th of May), about the new digital era of guitar playing etc. An absolute honor to have him over!

Meh, he's incredibly sloppy live. In the studio he's written some of the best solos there are. Live he lives a lot to be desired. Probably partly because his studio stuff is so good.
@@Cheximus being a sloppy performer who still sounds good and writes banger songs and solos is way better than being a tight shredder who can't write to save their lives

Even though I’ve listened to Slash during the GN&R days, never watched him on an interview and I’m extremely impressed of his humility and the ease of conversation with him. What a class act, thanks for having him over Ola.
@mememetal666 Why... because he doesn't play sweeped arpeggios, and flaunt skill endlessly? I don't even like Gn'R, and think this is a bs take. Platinum selling rock/metal artists, of the physical sales era, are not "overrated"? Not everybody wants to listen shred instrumentals and metal 24/7. Just the other day I saw the making of the new album video with Slash, in that he was not wearing the glasses. In my opinion, without the glasses, he is way more good looking. :) I don't think wearing sunglasses almost all the time even in moderatly lit environments does his eyes good.

Fucking Awesome!! "Not an interviewer, just a guitar player" two things I can't agree with you on. You are a brilliant interviewer, you let the guests talk and they are immediately at ease which makes these some of the best interviews to watch ever. The 'Just a guitar player' needs 'an inspirational guitar player' added. This was epic, thank you Ola!
