Some good new for those who would like to use this as a Linux laptop, I've watched another video review of it recently and Linux Mint (which is an Ubuntu derivative) works just fine on this laptop.
I was planning to go for this one but now i won't. So what do you recommend someone who is looking for a fanless, backlit keyboard and gloss screen windows minilaptop ?

@Lon.TV probably should of mentioned that the perimeter of the laptop of when you open it up is magnetic cause I had no clue about that whatsoever till a metal necklace of mine touched it by accident lol

@Lon.TV I know this review is over a year old. Can you you do a review of the same version of this with 8GB RAM/128 GB disk, jumper ezbook x3 - for Linux (any distro) ? Some people are not using Windows, that would be interesting to see + all reviews are demo-ing Windows, irrelevant for Linux users.
I have one and tried to put Zorin OS 16 Lite on it. It was fine except the Wifi would not work. Also the touchpad would not register tap clicking. I had to use the physical buttons. These could possibly be remedied, but I didn't take the effort. I may wipe Windows in favor of a dedicated Linux version after I've had it longer.
I have a screen flickering problem when I tried out ChromeOS Flex, Mint and CloudReady (Same as ChromeOS Flex but just wanted to be sure). I'm reinstalled Windows back on it to see if it's a software issue or hardware issue cause there was no flickering when I loaded it up for the first time.
I have one, used once and not working as screen won't light up. Waste of money
I had one. It works fine, but it only lasted for about a month and after that the display died. It could not be repaired even on warranty. Do yourself a favour, avoid them.
I got that very same laptop with a much better cpu N3450 quad, 8GB ram, 128GB ssd. For only $200~ equivalent (9999Php) on 9.9 sale. Thats a rippoff if I've seen one.

The cpu they use name is actually better, as they switched to a J3455 @ 1.50 GHz.

A $250 windows laptop can’t do windows things. Spend it on a chromebook or pre-owned business class machines. For $270 I’m running a Thinkpad Yoga, i7, 8gb, 256ssd. Runs Windows 10 like a champ.
yikes, so many better alternatives for around $300, and some of those are probably gonna be even less on holiday sales.

Looking at the specs on Amazon it is an m.2 Sata ssd, probably a 2260 or 2242 drive.
M.2 2242 sata only ssd. I got a same-ish but better specs model.

Its very easy to get actually. Already added additional 256gb on mine.
For 40 more bucks, you can get The Jump EZbook whatever, that has 8GB of ram a quadcore. Its not very good either but I think its good on a budget. You can create a PC for the same price and blow most laptops out the window
Edit: It really isn't... A lot better laptops and they're shown in the video, selling at lower prices :'(

How much more $$$ would it make these low cost laptops cost at the end if they just did dual channel memory?
Or so companies use shit components so their lowest end units cannot compete with the more mid range for most users (email, word, internet)?
When I see single channel ram or ram that cannot be upgraded it just makes my eyes roll.

For $100 more (as of video airing), the Walmart Motile 14-inch laptop with AMD Ryzen 3 CPU will stomp all over this thing. Hard pass.
That's like saying you can get a $40,000 car that's faster than a $30,000 car. No Kidding. Bet my desktop PC will stomp that WalMart laptop.

This thing is garbage. Mine started up with a virus. Plus it cannot power stuff through the micro usb. not enough juice
Did not check for China spyware. Honestly, I would worry about running Lenovo or any PC made by China owned company. Would be neat to check for network traffic the laptop sends back to home base.
The ONLY thing this may be good for is schoolwork. I'll pass on this

Junk don’t buy.
Jumper Old-tech crap .. uses 10 year old RAM and CPU trying to pawn the crap off as "new" --- No Support .. No Replacement parts. Better of just buying a 10-year old major brand laptop.
