Hope you feel better soon! Thank you for the lovely book i bought from your shop,so nicely packed. Such a good price for those sweet potatoes!
Awww, and thank you for purchasing it. 😊
Our produce is so much more expensive in Canada. I'm glad you're able to find good things at fair prices. Rest well and a speedy recovery.
Nice to see you lovely veg very healthy hope you feel better soon viv have a rest
I agree with you - my sister use to say to me it's only a cold - a cold is no fun and you should always take care of yourself when you are not feeling well. Hope you are up and about soon but take care of yourself.
So glad you treated yourself 🍷
Blimey you did well, especially the marmite, what a bargain! I hope you feel better soon, you’ll be at a low ebb with all the stress of the flat sale, so please take care. 🤗
Thank you lovely. I was particularly chuffed with the sweet pots....such a bargain!
Aww Vivi I went through that when we were moving. I believe that all the stress, good and bad played with my immune system a little. The good news is that we have been here for about a month and it's so worth it when you get on the other side. 🤩
I'm so happy for you that you're on the other side now. Happy settling! 😊
After all the physical and mental stress of getting the flat ready you are due a treat, rest up and hope your feeling your old self soon. ❤️🇦🇺
Thank you lovely. 😊
Hello! Your veggies are cheaper than here in US. Sweet potatoes are about $2.50 a lb. Those apples would be $5. Have you ever taken elderberry syrup to increase immunity during this time of year? I make it out of dried elderberries. I haven't had a cold in over ten years, no flu or COVID either, no vax too. All your soups sound wonderful. I need to expand my veggie dishes, but soups are my go to. Congratulations on the house sale/purchase. I'm so glad for you & your knees. I have 4 types of arthritis & know the pain you experience. Feel better! ❤
Hope you feel better soon. I started buying a lot my veg frozen as I’d end up with rotting veg in the fridge. Now I buy frozen sliced carrots, shredded cabbage, Broccoli, cauliflower and sliced peppers. It’s really made a difference for me. I’ve always got veg at hand and a lot less rot to clear out the fridge. It’s great for lazy cooks like me :))))
😉
My strategy as well…went the dehydrating route….the canning route…the meal planning route etc…. And with all ultimately so inconvenient and more work than it was worth settled on freezing what is bought fresh or buying frozen. Less waste all around. 😊
In the US, frozen veggies are usually on sale in January. It's a great time to fill the freezer as much as possible.
Lidl's super savers fruit and veggies are really good value! Your shopping bag is so pretty 😍 I hope you get well soon Vivi 🤗
I was amazed at how cheap the sweet pots were....fantastic. 😊
You can feel horrible with a cold! Hugs and sympathy 🤗
Almost certainly a reaction to many weeks of work and stress and uncertainty. A happy outcome (fingers crossed!) but still takes its toll.
I think so. Thank you. 😊
A very well thought out shop.
The solution is on its way in the form of your very own garden!
Toast yourself ! A well deserved treat for a deserving gal ! 🍷
❤ xx
Thank you lovely. 😊
I've been blending up my tomatoes in a blender to add to my variations of veggie stew, i.e., end of garden stew. Yesterday, I made fresh Mexican salsa for now and the freezer. The salsa is really good over beans and rice, in enchiladas, or on scrambled eggs or tofu scramble.
Ooooh, yum! 😊
Congratulations on 20000 subscribers
Thank you. 😊
Oh Vivi, lots of deadlines, loss of stress usually brings on a cold or something. Get well soon. X
Ugh, yes.....I'm not surprised I feel a bit run down.
Hope you can rest and recover soon. Take good care. x
Thank you Dawn. x
You definitely deserve that wine after you worked so hard on the flat ! Enjoy 🎉 get well soon ❤
Thank you lovely. 😊
I love how much you adore veggies!
Hoping to save some seeds from some Isle of Wight tomatoes..... Wish me luck!
I prescribe a hot bath for that cold!!🛀🔥🛀😂♨️🙏
Yay for seed saving! Hahaha...yes, a hot bath is a must. 😊
Get well soon ,Vivi ❤ Those meals sound delicious. Risotto is such a refreshing flavour and comfort foot at the same time . I agree about the greens and tomato sauce , made for each other. Enjoy . ❤❤
Here’s to you feeling better.. letting your videos run while I am sewing Christmas presents…
Oooh, happy sewing. 😊
Hiya Vivi, some self indulgent behaviour a book , blanket, soup, bubble bath ,candle and a wine spritzer will help you heal ? Much deserved. See you when you decide, take care ,Luv Southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
Celery is a wonderfully cost effective vegetable. Carrots too.
I so wish veggies were that cheap here in Georgia, USA. Broccoli on sale all summer @ 2.99 for what you just showed. I grow some but have never gotten loads. The whote fly was just horrible here this year. It attacked just about everything. Hope you eat well and feel better Vivi. Keeping my fingers crossed for your move to go well.
Ugh, darned white fly!! 😒
Take care and hope you feel better soon!
Thank you lovely.
Take care - hope you feel better soon.
Thank you. 😊
Sounds tasty Vivi… hope you feel better soon 😊
Thank you 😊
I was just down with covid (again🤦♀️) followed by tonsillitis, so hoping that's my turn done with winter bugs! Feel better soon Vivi 🌻
Oh you poor thing....hope you feel better soon!
It's always great to see what other people buy and how much it costs. At the same however, I cringe because where I live I pay 4 or 5x more for the exact same foods. It makes it nearly impossible to set funds aside for other things though I do shop around to get the best food deals and stretch the funds. Good on you for buying healthy foods. xx
Try some thyme tea for your cold.
Great value!! Hope you feel better soon 👍👍
Thank you. 😊
👍👍👍
Great haul! Hope you feel better soon!❤❤😊
Thank you. 😊
Hi vivi. Hope your feeling better soon. That’s a great haul of veg.Glad you treated yourself to some wine, you deserve a treat. I love Savoy cabbage,I love the smell of it cooking. Take care love marilyn x
Thank you Marilyn. 😊
I love it when produce is loose, I have my own bags.
Such a dilemma with offers, as it's easy to be lured in and get stuff we don't need. We have to be strong and sensible!
Absolutely! 😊
get better soon 🤗
Thank you lovely. 😊
Get well soon Vivi🤞
I'm off to lidl tomorrow, after watching this! Great prices for veg I usually buy out of Tesco.
I hope they have lots left still. 😊
👍♥️,🙏 to quickly feel better
I love getting the Lidl £1.50 fruit & veg boxes which are almost at sell by date. Usually early in the morning.
Here in the Netherlands same..😊
I always miss them! 😉
@@WhatVivididnext What a shame.
Hope you feel better soon. The wine is for medicinal purposes too!
Hi...Vegetables are a much lower price in England than in the US. I paid $5 usd for a regular head of cabbage and celery is $1.75 or more. I realize other things might be more or less and you've heard this many times from others but it still shocks me sometimes. I wish vegetables could be more affordable and farmers could still earn a fair living worldwide...in a perfect world. I hope your feeling better soon! Take care =)
Thank you lovely.
Hi Vivi, I have been noticing that apples especially are so small. My favourite apples are Cox the only ones I have seen are so small and green. To me they have been picked way too early. I love them full size and juicy. I think it may be a bit early for them any way or the weather has affected them I suppose….perhaps I am answering my own question.😂😻🙏❤️
Oh I love Cox's too.....Cox's Orange Pippins in particular......but I never see them in the shops....
I think you've earned that bottle of wine! Geel better soon!
Thank you. 😊
Feel better 🤒❤
Thank you. 😊
Fab upload Vivi, Feel better soon.❤
Thanks lovely. 😊
Hello again! Have you considered writing a cookbook? Perhaps I'm not the only one interested.
That would be awesome! Make it a pdf for sale :)
Aldi's yeast extract is £1.79 and i prefer it to marmite, wish i could have all that green veg, unfortunately i take warfarin so anything with vitamin K in i have to limit, i love my veg casseroles, veg curries and homemade soups, and always batch cook, saves a fortune x
Absolutely! I tried the Lidl yeast extract....it was good for the price but I much prefer Marmite so the extra cost is one I'm happy to pay.
I hope you feel better soon. 😊
Scrumptious sounding dinners.
Yay, Vivi got a treat. Bottoms up 🥂 xxx 😊
Cheers lovely. 😊
I'm off work poorly today too Vivi. No cough or cold. Just feel lousy. Lots of stuff going around. Hope you're on the mend! ❤
You too, lovely.
Fantastic bargains at Lidl..wish there was one near me but then I need home delivery so swings and roundabouts. Wine also is good there too. Steamed veg are also healthy .hope you rest and soon feel better.
Thank you lovely. I really appreciate having a Lidl near me!
I now buy the own brand marmite which is a little cheaper. To be honest I prefer the texture as it's easier to get out the jar!
I tried the Lidl yeast extract....it was good for the price but I much prefer Marmite so the extra cost is one I'm happy to pay.
I really need to mix my meals up I eat same stuff all the time so I'm enjoying watching your videos 😊
Thank you lovely. 😊
💖💖💖
Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you.
Hugs feel better soon. I laughed at what you luke and dont as a hate savoy cabbage even though i think it is so pretty. Fingers crossed for the flat. All your meals sound lovely. .
Cheers lovely. 😊
Good value
Especially the sweet potatoes.....chuffed with that purchase.
I'm nipping into Aldi tommorow to check out their offers ;0) . Think you might have overdone it in the last few days Vivi - rest & good food will surt you out! Take care & get well soon x ;0)
Thank you lovely. Happy bargain hunting. 😉
Have you got a lidi plus card ,well worth having.
We were in the store yesterday. Frozen greens $5 or more per bag. Next aisle, big boxes of sugary cereal…4 for $10. Ridiculous. Started to see shortages yesterday. Eggs & fresh veg not really being restocked. Shuffled around a bit. But old and wilted.
Going to try growing kale through this winter.
Kind regards! :0)
It's so sad that junk food is cheaper than good, fresh stuff. 😢 Happy kale growing....such a fab veg! 😊
Absolute madness @@WhatVivididnextI had thought they were banning bogof offers on sweet stuff, but we're still seeing the boxes of sweets and chocolates piled high at Christmas.
💜🌟💜
I'm glad for you that some normality has returned to your life! I hope that's how it feels to you anyway 🤗
Get better soon Vivi 😷🤒x
Thank you.
I'm not good with greens tbh. So now I have frozen spinach in a smoothie every day, to get it out the way! I don't dislike it at all. I just forget and am not instinctively drawn to buy and eat.
Whacking a load in a smoothie is a great way to make sure of at least one portion a day. 😊
Hi Vivi, I had to smile when you pulled out the sweet potatoes as I am sat here eating sweet potato curry and rice with beans and lentils to pad it out .I too count my self very lucky if I manage to get a Lidl veg box but I find the price of their veg is always good.
Struggling with a head cold my self so you have my sympathy.I hope you feel better soon. Good to see your subscribers raising. I let the ads run so hopefully that may help build your moving fund.
Oh I hope you feel better quickly. X
do you fancy mushrooms, Vivi? just curious ;) I think I haven't noticed you buying them in any of your hauls
I love mushrooms. 😊 I use them in risotto and my favourite brassica pie.
@@WhatVivididnext ooh a pie, interesting 🙃
Take care Vivi ❤
Thanks lovely.
