When my children were little , my home was never tidy . Blink , and they've grown up and have homes of their own . I totally agree with you , dont stress , its all about the journey ❤. Lovely to see you 😊

I know I so try to say this to myself but it's hard when you are alone doing it all alone and you are in the thick of. I try my best in moment but then some how I find something to beat myself up about it and mom guilt about something. 😢

So true. Looking back, I would have drastically reduced the amount of toys the kids had so it was easier to maintain. But, we’re empty nesters now and grandparents to two beautiful boys. Hindsight is 20/20. Time flies. But one does live and learn. ❤

Honey, you think your house is a mess, but I don't see a mess. I see a mom who prioritizes her kids over the house. I don't think any mother can say anything is wrong with that. The amount of times this creeps up on so many of us, it just happens overnight it seems sometimes. You got this. You are truly an amazingly good human.

I totally agree, it’s not often I see someone wide as vertically challenged as I am, lol. I have all the things she talks about, waiting mode, executive dysfunction etc etc and on top of that, about 14 years ago I had accidents and not live in a disability pension. What’s incredibly frustrating about it if that even when I get motivated there are some things I just have to avoid doing. I have to ask someone else to help but the only people I know (I don’t really have any friends) are my grown up kids and they’re too busy living their own lives so things sit undone and I feel like crap (mental health wise) about not being able to do them myself anymore.

My mum accidentally got a kitchen bin that was far too small, so that we have to empty it at least once a day, often twice, because there's not much room in it. But it was a faff to replace it, so she just kept it 'for now'.

I grew up in a household where we had to deep clean every week. But cleaning was considered punishment. It wasn't presented as a healthy principle. So as I became an adult, I struggled with cleaning because I detested it. I would stay up latecleaning everyday and run the rest of the day on little to no sleep. I had to teach myself to clean through daily small tasks so that I wasn't overwhelmed at the end of the week. And that taking a break and knowing when you need rest is important as well. Remi, I appreciate you sharing your life and your mind with us. Your cleaning videos help me so much ❤!

Remi, it’s like you’ve got a hidden to my life and you’re telling my story on RUclips. I love watching your videos. I’m currently in a difficult situation where I need to sell my home and move in to take care of my elderly father. I’m so overwhelmed by the pressure to get my house (that’s unbelievably messy) cleaned, packed up and ready to be sell. There’s additional pressure that I can’t leave him for long periods. I feel like if I could afford it, I’d pay for everything it would take to get you over to the USA to coach me. Unfortunately that’s not an option. But it would be a tremendous help for you and all your followers to say a word of prayer for my family. It feels almost impossible to find a way out of this hole I’m in. Feeling exhausted and overwhelmed is a daily issue. Although I have always been more in the OCD direction. But: having kids, divorce, depression phases have made me change. I love things neat and clean. At this point of my life it's really executive disfunction that happens to me. Upcoming deadlines really push me to get things done. You have described perfectly what happens with my house and me. I have 4 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment. There is always something messy, no matter how hard I try. I beat nyself up mentally for not being able to do the things that need doing. I appreciate you so much for your honesty. It has helped me immensely just knowing imnot alone. Thank you!

Thank you for unlocking a mystery for me! If I know I have to be somewhere at lets say 3 I will literally wait the entire day for 3 even doing nothing, I just cant start another task until that 3 oclock task is done.
You have explained so many things I struggle with and it makes me feel better knowing I am not crazy after all lol

Hi Remy. What I love about your videos is that it's the real thing. Nothing's always sunshine and roses.
Something's one room's more than enough to clean and declutter.
Thanks for looking into your world.
    Have a wonderful week.
    Greetings from Germany.

Hi, Remi. Thank you for the video and for being so supportive of people with different ways of dealing with cleaning, etc. you are very knowledgeable and well spoken about helpful ways of dealing with stress. I think you may have missed your calling to be a counselor. ❤. How often do you/your partner water the orchids? Thank you!

I’m not sure why but watching this video I am actually in tears-what you are describing with having to put effort in to remember to do routines making you irritable is exactly me! It was like you were looking inside my head 😂I didn’t know other people felt like this. I’m so grateful for your videos and your honesty-I’m learning so much about myself and how to cope and you genuinely make me feel less alone. Thank you x

i just want to say i love ur videos! i struggle with mental health and no matter how often i clean my room ends up looking similarly to ur house a day after i clean. i hate being messy, but i struggle so much with cleaning. your videos helped me so much with not feeling bad about letting my house get messy, and its the only motivation to help me clean. i religiously watch ur videos when i need to clean my room, ur soothing voice and energy is really calming like a mum was helping me go through it! thank you!

Thank you for teaching me, my "something new" for the day; I was just talking with my best friend this weekend about "how do people schedule more than one event per day" because I struggle to relax in between...which sounds an awful lot like "waiting mode". Enjoyed today's video - carry on 😊

I can relate. Several appointments a week is like torture. And even only one...depends on the kind of event. But I'm mentally through with that day, no matter when it's scheduled.

I have this thing too, where I really need to be alone. Sometimes it works out and sometimes I had something planned.
I've had to cancel plans before because I really couldn't do it and I'm so glad my friends understood.
And sometimes I push through and go because I think I should make an effort for them, just to show them I care about them and it's exhausting but I also enjoyed time with my friends and made memories.
