  • Nancy lost her husband nine years ago and has been chronically depressed ever since and struggles with lack of motivation. She has also had shoulder surgery recently which has just made matters worse. Her kitchen has been an overwhelming task for her and she needed a reset. In this video, I will be washing a lot of dishes, clearing out drawers and cupboards and reorganizing the contents.

We could all learn tremendously from your kind heart and selfless acts that you share. I promise that your work is not going without recognition and support, it is truly invaluable what you do Bonnie! The mental health awareness that you spread is also so important to so many people and to the amazing community you've built on yt. As an 8 year widow from a 42 year marriage, who uses her warming drawer to hold all my lids; the grieving depression is real. The excess of kitchen essentials is because she moved out of her home and had to downsize into the apartment. Loosing her home after loosing her husband is alot to bare. So many others advised me to move from my home, but I'm glad I stayed put. I hope your client finds a therapist and starts to find some peace. Helping her clear her space will help her clear her mind.

Thank you, Becki! I wish I could tell people to watch the ads because, you're right, that is the main way we make money on RUclips, but I understand being bugged by the ads. It's nice that RUclips has made some non-skippable ones so we usually get paid at least a little bit even when people skip the other ads. I do try to watch as many ads as I can on the channels I watch because I know it helps them and it's only a minute of my life. I usually just have their videos going on in the background while I'm doing something else anyway, so it's no big deal to let the ads run. Trashing someone is called making a Splash. It's really bad how many people are negatively affected. It is exponential how it spreads or ripples before things calm down. If one person does it because of their disorder, I'm thinking NPD's, they are compelled to trash people. We must be No Contact with NPD's because they cannot exist and not make Splashes. I recently got rid of a lot of our extra Tupperware because now if we ever run out, I know that's a sign we have way too many leftovers sitting in our fridge that have not been eaten and that it's time to clean out the fridge and get back some of those Tupperware containers. An inconvenience for just a few minutes, but overall, it's a lot easier than having piles of dishes everywhere and nowhere to store them.😁

In general, these things are not very expensive. If you happen to run out of Tupperware one day, you can simply buy some.
I now throw away containers without lids or lids without containers. No more “Oh, I could use this at some point”. If the plastic is discolored or smells strange, I throw it away too. There's one drawer for Tupperware and if something no longer fits in there, I have to decide what can go.
It needed years until I realized that I'm not that poor to be forced to keep everything.

This is my first time on this channel (which I’m really enjoying) and so much of the clutter in this video really made me think of Dana k white from a slob comes clean and how your cleaning would easily tie into her decluttering method.
A key concept she taught me is that I can keep anything, but not everything, and whatever I keep has to fit in the container or space I have. So if the cabinet for pans is too cluttered that things are not easy to put away or get to then it’s time to declutter.
It’s not that those things aren’t useful, I just don’t have room.
Same thing for blankets, or clothes, or craft supplies.

Do you also have dreams about redoing High School as you are now, knowing that everyone has their own issues even when they look like they have it all together, even the popular kids? I would be so much less concerned about my awkwardness and try to go out of my way to find those who are struggling. I always try to remind my kids that everyone is too busy worrying about how to fit in, so however awkward they might feel at this time, everyone else is in the same boat and it gets much better after high school. I guess I should say for most people it gets better. There are still quite a few adults who are bullies and need to grow up and they can make life difficult for their peers, but, generally speaking, adulthood is better than High School.😊

To be known is to be loved... of course someone calling you by your name and asking how you're doing is a big deal. I started a new job last year (as a teacher!) and a few months in I was so incredibly stressed. Then some people in the staff room asked me how I was doing and they knew my name and it both surprised me and made me feel at home. I sent roses to all the janitors at Valentine's day and now we're best buds. It can be something really small, but I think being human is made up of those small gestures.

Great Job Bonnie. You are such a special gift for people in need of help. I know it is not environmentally friendly... but it would do her good to reduce her kitchen wear down to a normal amount and then buy "one-use" paper plates, cups, wood cutlery, and paper towels, so that when she is having a "crippling depression phase" where she has no energy to clean up, she can use the one-use stuff and just throw them in the bin... that will dramatically reduce the amount that piles piling up!

fellow bathroom stall girl here.....I actually thought I was the only one. I feel so much better knowing that you struggled in high school too. as you are just so perky and motivated and you seem good with people. I struggled all through school even when I was young, I couldn't understand how kids could be so mean and used to wonder how their parents could love them hahahaha.....I think there are quite a lot of moments in adult life that bring those difficult moments back to us in a flash. Now I work in primary schools as a nurse and I can spot those miserable kids in a second, it feels so good to be able to brighten their day by remembering their name and saying something nice. We each have the power to make other humans feel better or worse as they are going about their day. I feel you have a special ability to make people feel better and maybe that's why you started your channel. It's not just the people with messy homes that you are helping, it's your subscribers too. If Mack quit youtube I'd be disappointed but I'd get over it in a minute...if you quit youtube I'd be sad for ages!!!!

I knew there must be a few out there, but I did not expect there to be so many. It took me years to find my confidence after high school and I still fake it a lot, but out of those experiences are born empathetic people, like yourself, who can spot and look out for those like us. I'm thankful there are kind people like you out there looking out for the outcasts. 🫶

@@ABeautifulMessExtremeCle-zl1wp you're right that our struggles make us empathetic towards others and even though school was such a struggle it did make me a stronger person. I was so determined to be a nurse that I stuck it out to the end and still remember my last day vividly. Needless to say I didn't attend the end of year ball or graduation ceremony lol.... I got what I needed and spread my wings. Nursing school was so different as my peers were caring and empathetic and I really found my place in the world. But there are still those awkward social moments in life where my first instinct is to find the bathroom! It's nice to know there's a whole bunch of us 😊😊

You are an amazing person to do what you do for others. I know you don't do it for persoal praise but you need to know the gift that you have and are giving to so many. Blessings to you
