Hope you're feeling better Rachel! I think a big part of your gorgeously big sewing room feeling cluttered is that everything is on show. I would put wardrobes with doors up to the ceiling. I have put 3 sliding doored cupboards with shelves, and everywhere looks "cleaner". X
I just brought the French Terry you made your page hoodie out of for my granddaughter but now I want a sweater in it too haha. Also love the first sweatshirt you had on in the soft purples. Glad you’re feeling better
Hi Rachel. I think your little holes in the cardigan are where you have slipped a stitch from one needle to the other rather than knitting or purling it. Easily done. x
Rachel sorry to hear you are still a little under the weather. I love your Layla's room what a transformation. Your dress WOW WEE just beautiful. I am glad you kept yourself busy Thank you so much for sharing get well soon X
I enjoyed your week, glad that you’re on the mend. I watched Ruan’s vlog yesterday and she said that she was going to surprise you, so it was lots of fun to see your reaction. Your dress was lovely. Looking forward to your next video
Hoping you feel better soon. I can empathise with the struggle to cope and work in a cluttered sewing room, I know the feeling all too well. The dress looks great.
It was such an amazing weekend and thank you for letting me be part of it ❤ Love your Paige hoodie and that Frocktails Dress was just wow 🤩 hope you’re feeling much better now ❤
Thank you Rachel really enjoyed your vlog i had things on my mind befor your vlog came on and watching the vlog has been a help i think i will sleep better now as its 12 oclock midnight thanks again i enjoyed it the dress is lovely x
So happy to see that Stitched Up Weekly is back, even while you are feeling like @“%!! Love your Frocktails dress, & the hoodie as well 💕 Hope you start to turn the corner and feel better soon. 🥰
I cant believe you were in my home town of Glasgow, I live down south now and havent been back since I left 3 years ago. I must go to Scottish Frockltales next year!! I loved your dress, you looked stunning in it x
Sorry you have been so poorly, hope you are soon better. I love your frocktails dress, it's very classy, and I also love your hoodie, this is something I've got to try to make. Love the vlog as well.
I tend to look at a pattern and think I’m going to trace then get it all out and think life’s too short 😂 if I change size and want to make it again I’ll buy another or get the PDF X
Wow, beautiful dress and a really cute hoodie. Sorry you were feeling poorly--I'm sure you're better by now! My friend and I had RSV earlier this year. I've just gotten over COVID and now I'm getting over the sinus infection & inflamed lungs left over from the COVID so I can sympathise with you.
Cozy fall time sewing with the bulky fabric to keep you warm, hope you are feeling better. Between you and Ruan and the red and pink animal print so bad that I live in Canada. Postage too much I'm sure. Great job on the destash. That rainbow thread is amazing. The Paige hoody looks like the hood is nice and close for dog walking. Love it too. Take Care
Love your dress it looked amazing have you considered storing your bulky fabrics in vacuum bags. In the attic or garage ? The bedroom looks bright and cosy for your granddaughter you did a good job hope you are fully better soon take care
I wanted to see a full length of your dress as it looked gorgeous. I also love your Paige hoodie. Hopefully you are feeling a lot better by now. I found I couldn’t skip the adverts today which was a bit of a pain then the second half didn’t have any thankfully. 😊
Oh Rachel, how can you possible feel inspired to create when you feel like total crap. Get better soon and we will see you when you can. Look after yourself. 👋
Hi Rachel, It's always fun following you around on your day-to-day! 😊 I'm knitting while I'm watching as a matter of fact - the little hole you're holding up to the camera: It looks like you've possibly turned your knitting in the middle of the row. That will leave a small gap, and your stitch count will remain the same. It doesn't look like you've added a new stitch by knitting into an accidental YO (which would change your stitch count) That can be hidden by creating a 'fake stitch' with your yarn and a tapestry or yarn needle. 😁 edit. actually, that second hole does look like an added stitch 🙃
Hey it’s me again… why not check out which bulky fabric matches with your buttons that you accidentally purchased? Why not look for a happy ending inspired make. It could be ‘The universe’ telling you to make a nice warm dog walking coat or a new early start work coat for winter? If life sends you lemons….
Hi Rachel, you could of created those holes on your knitting by turning half way through a row easily done when watching the TV I do hope you feel better love the vlog thanks for sharing ❤
Hi, just looking at your knitting and, as a total knitting novice, I think you might have slipped a stitch instead of dropping a stitch to form the hole. It’s otherwise beautiful 😍. I struggle with knitting but I have discovered why after finding out I have ADHD. It’s almost impossible for me to keep count, I’m currently doing a double moss stitch and I just have to figure out a way of remembering which line I’m on and it’s only a four line repeat 🤦🏻♀️. For years I thought that I was broken or stupid but at least I can now start to devise a strategy. I was the same when I used to swim. I used to do 2 lengths front crawl and two breaststroke on repeat but I would get to 14 or was that 18… definitely not 10… or was it? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️. I do hope that you’re feeling better now, rest is really important. Xx

Hope you're soon feeling better Rachel. ❤
Hope you're feeling better Rachel! I think a big part of your gorgeously big sewing room feeling cluttered is that everything is on show. I would put wardrobes with doors up to the ceiling. I have put 3 sliding doored cupboards with shelves, and everywhere looks "cleaner". X
Thanks for sharing your week Rachel even though you were feeling pretty rubbish. 🧶🌈🍓💙
I just brought the French Terry you made your page hoodie out of for my granddaughter but now I want a sweater in it too haha. Also love the first sweatshirt you had on in the soft purples. Glad you’re feeling better

So the bulky fluffy fabric winter projects! Jackets cardigans. Have fun sewing!
Yes!!!
Oh no poor you! Feel better soon sweet 🪻🌷🌷🌷
Hope your feeling better now. Looked such a great weekend you all had😃 Love the hoodie, its made me want to make something snuggly!
Feel better. I have done the same thing with my knitting. Stitching from the back works perfectly to close the hole.
I tend to look at a pattern and think I’m going to trace then get it all out and think life’s too short 😂 if I change size and want to make it again I’ll buy another or get the PDF X
Lovely vlog and the dress looks amazing. I think you have added a knit stitch by pulling up the string between two stitches 🤗

Hope you feel better soon! I am going on week 3 of having bronchitis, due to it my sewjo has gone into hiding...

For Layla's cardigan, drop down the stitches and then use a crochet hook to pick them back up again. It won't take long and it'll be properly fixed.
Thanks Kathy it’s not a dropped stitch tho or a yarn over it’s just a gap between the stitches I think I just have lost my tension a bit
A very pretty bedroom for a little girl
Hi Rachel, you could of created those holes on your knitting by turning half way through a row easily done when watching the TV I do hope you feel better love the vlog thanks for sharing ❤
Love your video......
What about knitting some pretty pocketa, perhaps edging them with that edge stitch?
Beautiful cardigan love it, how’d your crochet granny squares come out for the bag ?
Fab ❤
Being sick never puts me of eating, either. I can be vomiting violently and still eat. Especially sweets.
Hi Rach, can I ask what the thing on top of your gas ring is that the soup pan was sitting on/in? 😊
It’s a griddle made of cast iron but we never use it to cook on only to stand things on 🤣
I have one of those to stand my wok on it keeps it from tipping
