You hit the nail on the head! 😂 She was so pumped up! In fact, we are in the middle of her bedroom makeover as we speak! I was over there yesterday to help with painting the baseboards and doors.

I have been watching SO many home decor and DIY renovation videos for the past year while I'm in the middle of a complete house reno myself, so I am just FLOORED by the fact that RUclips only just now showing me your channel! Honestly, I'm a little mad but I'm SO GLAD this was finally recommended!! I love that you actually use the products from your sponsors - I see so many people just do a demo with them and it feels like they don't trust the product enough to use it for their own home but they'll take the money. I'm super interested in trying Bathworks for my 1940's cast iron tub... It was expensively refinished a while ago but it just didn't really last well. I'll check out the Bathworks stuff. Looks like the spray will make it a lot faster to do than brushing.

Who knew, right?!? This was my first time refinishing a tile floor, as well! BathWorks is amazing stuff! And the fact that you can match it with many Sherwin Williams colors, makes the possibilities feel endless.

Thanks! I love that it was such a collaboration between her and I! At the beginning, she didn't feel she was a creative person. But I saw so much creativity in her ideas. She just didn't know it. But she was so much more confident afterwards, and inspired to take on the rest of her house!

That looks amazing Serena! The floor finish is especially amazing. Our basement was painted a similar green when we bought our house and was dubbed “The Green Room”. It is our eldest son’s music/band room but now rocks a much more moody shade of deep green.

That's builder grade 1960s wall and floor tile. I have almost the exact same in my house from 1968.
If all that stuff was provided and donated, what cost $2,500?
You'd be surprised. The plumber was I think $800, paint, wood, baseboards, materials/supplies, light, baskets, stain, etc. It adds up!
