I hadn't seen anyone do a sauce for tofu scramble before! It reminded me more of an actual egg scramble than the dry version. I definitely will be trying this.

Pro chef tip- flip the pepper 🫑 over when cutting. Cutting the pepper thru the “shiny” smooth outer side of the skin will heighten your chance of your knife slipping, and cutting yourself. By cutting through the membranous side you have much more control over the cut. Same with tomatoes.

Can't wait for the book - preordered on Amazon a few months ago. I would urge everyone to cook their tofu scrambles like Nisha does - adding that liquid really makes a difference and you can adjust the consistency of the scramble to whatever you prefer. And the leftovers don't dry out - just reheat briefly and eat.

Ok so I took a chance and got the free pdf emailed to me. I have NEVER liked any form of tofu that I’ve eaten and I’ve NEVER used miso before or nutritional yeast - but after her recipe for whipped tofu with the sour dough toast, pesto and heirloom tomatoes I am shocked and absolutely delighted how WONDERFUL it can be!!! Flavors are absolutely phenomenal!!! I’m so excited to try the other recipes in my email. 🥰 Thank you Nisha!

But be glad for her that she is not a restauranteur, done well, it is an all-consuming, intensely stressful profession that takes over your whole life, leaving little time for family or friends (or RUclips channels).
I say this as a front of the house veteran of some of the finest, most respected restaurants in America.
Years ago I read a study of stress related illnesses in the workplace, and restaurants were third on the list after law enforcement and the medical profession (study did not include the active military).
So, I'm happy for her that she does not have a restaurant - sad for us though ...

Huge thanks for these new recipes and showing how to do a mini meal prep. Everything has been delicious so far. The chili oil is incredible, I can't believe it has only two ingredients. it went super well with the whipped tofu tomato toast. The pesto was amazing too. can't wait to try more of the recipes throughout the week :)

Nisha's tofu scramble recipe is my favorite tofu scramble recipe I've found and have made it so many times. that brown butter peach and Blueberry cobbler I've made a few times, too, and so delicious. Love your recipes!
I made this twice this week, threw the pesto into the tofu mix to save a step... with farmers market tomato... amazing! thanks you, you have been an amazing contribution to my vegan journey!
I add just a teaspoon of white miso in my pesto and adds a bit of an umami depth and saltiness that I find really nice, because nutritional yeast gives a cheesiness but parmesan has more distinct flavour and the combo of miso and nooch comes much closer :)
Oh I am sooooo making that cobbler before peach season is over!

I just made the basil pesto and the whipped tofu & had it on sourdough bread with tomatoes & some of the pesto! So easy and so good! Thank you for your great videos and recipe & meal prep ideas! Can’t wait to get your new book-already pre-ordered it!

Boy this came at the perfect time. I had a spare block of tofu in the fridge and a fresh tomato I just picked! A wonderful tofu/tomato/basil/balsamic toast! And SO. FAST.
This is the first time I’m trying whipped tofu (🤯) and this seems incredibly versatile! It may be a go-to for a weekly veggie/cracker dip!

I have only tried the elevated yogurt and berries bowl (throw in half peach, add a squeeze of lemon juice, and sprinkle some hemp seeds for extra protein). Wow, the best yogurt bowl I have ever had. I tried the tofu scramble so many time though (definitely a staple). I have made some zhoug sauce myself and plan to substitute that for the pesto and serve it on top of the scramble!! Thank you Nisha for all your creativieand delicious ideas.
