Hand turned stemware is classy way to impress your guests at your next dinner party, and they're easier to turn than you might think.
In this video, we'll show you how to turn a wine glass stem for our Bordeaux Wine Glass Kit. It was turned from piece of Osage Orange, but any dense hardwood will work. Following the same basic steps, you can modify the length and profile of the stem to suit your style.

Instead of remounting a new waste block to clean up the base, why not use the waste already in the chuck when it was parted off. Seems that you could have eliminated the step .

Osage orange would be really pretty! I think a nice Claro Walnut would be pretty nice too!
