If you’re like me & prefer advanced step aerobics, you should really try all CDornerFitness step workouts. You can add risers, a weighted vest, make the moves bigger or just enjoy the more basic slower pace. I really enjoy doing all the step workouts..love all 393 of them! 💜

Totally agree. It’s a scorcher here on Vancouver island bc today and I was sweating before I started so decided to do this one today and it was great. Now I will do 20 mins of yoga and I will be happy. Hope everyone is having a great day July 20 2024

Basic step is great for getting steps in especially if you have a relatively sedentary job & need to get some steps in without a lot of brain work. If you are just starting with step this is a great place for you. Chris is a great instructor and if you stick with it you will succeed. Her tutorials are very helpful- that is from first hand experience. Thanks for all you do Chris!
I usually do fast basic-intermediate step, but it is always nice to go back to just basics. I had done step aerobics before I found this channel, which is why/how I found CDornerfitness. I’ve learnt so much more from doing step with (you) Chris. I think this step workout is a great one for those beginners who want to learn step. Chris is great at showing and explaining the different steps. Thank you Chris for all your wonderful classes! 🇨🇦

Doing the combos in a zig zag pattern made this very basic routine more fun for me. Request for a short intermediate class weaving the combos together like this, thank you.

I have been doing current workouts (today is June 30, 2024) and this Saturday’s advanced was a little too fast so I went back and found this at a slower pace until I can get better and faster! Loved it!
Happy to say that I am a 72 year old who has had back surgery 3 years ago and knee replacement surgery 2years ago.Having been a phys Ed. teacher I do catch on easily and I am proud to say I have accomplished , it works for me .I don't feel that tired any longer since I been doing this for 2 weeks now.Thanks so mucb😂
This was the perfect class for the heat wave we are experiencing. I am very sensitive to the heat but still wanted to get a good workout in. This, in combination with the Cardio Barre, were the perfect solution. Thank you!

Welcome Leslie! Hey, we all started as beginners, be patience and kind with yourself, you will get better and better!
Chris is a great instructor and supportive. I tried something new with this: bare foot!!! (socks on, no risers, on carpet so a bit of cushioning). I just wanted to feel the movement and ability in my foot and thought this slow, basic, short class would be a good one to try. Sometimes after stepping, i find my feet are hot and calves are burning (or it could be my trainers?). My feet and calves feel fine after this and during the workout i was focusing on foot placement. I wouldn't do it any faster or for any longer. 👣🤯❤
You could definitely need new trainers. I don't recommend stepping barefoot
