@@loisharach3612 I used to sell fibers (mostly very fancy yarns) in short lengths and large variety assortments. I ordered them mostly from eBay, often importing from sellers in Turkey and other counties. If you want more yarn than locally available, you might find it that way. I did this about 15-20 years ago, but I would imagine it’s still available. If you need multiple skeins, sometimes it’s cheaper (and more consistent) to buy it on a large spool.

Good Sunday Morning Crystal and The BOD Family☀️☀️ Beautiful and who does not love a one row repeat❤️❤️ Have A Wonderful Day Sending Much Love and Hugs❤️❤️
Beautiful design as always!! I only have 2 anniversary cakes but it just might have to do if I can take a break from making your beanies! I am having so much fun making them that I don’t want to stop. Hubby asked what are you going to do with all the hats and I said donate them of course!! Much Love and blessings ❤️
So in love with new pattern!!! Oh my, I already have 4 of your patterns in progress!!! I have to finish one or two and then I will be on to this one for sure!! As always Crystal, thank you for sharing your talent with all of us!! 💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜
I just bought some chunky 6 yarn and was looking for a pattern to make and who pops up with a blanket to make with a chunky yarn? My favorite youtuber! Thank you Crystal!
You are really the best teacher. I think I learned this one. Granted I may have worn out the pause and replay on my tablet, but I am so excited! Thank you so much for your videos. I just started crocheting a few months ago and you have helped me so much.
I am on my third afghan with this pattern! I have made it smaller across and I love this pattern! I am using Anniversary Cakes, but only using one to make each afghan. They are turning out wonderfully! What a great pattern Crystal. Thank you so, so much!!!
@@jillkrischon155 I think that I used 100. I just measured across my own lap until I thought that it would make a comfortable sized lap blanket. I went from there. It depends on the size of hook that you are using. I used a large one. I used one full Cake for the length. They turned out wonderfully!
Caron Simply Soft was first yarns i started with. My husband said no more buying yarns. But maybe I can learning how to do this one. I believe this is beautiful. Thanks again for sharing with us all. Wishing you great weekend. Mary Ellen and Jake Ten Eyck
Oh Crystal! I was just thinking, I need to see if Crystal has a tutorial for a blanket using those new Anniversary Cakes that I just got. BAM! There you go. Perfect! I got out my new cake and made this along with you. I LOVE it! Making a Christmas gift. Thank you so, so much. You are the best teacher.
I just made a bedspread and Shams with this stitch and posted it on Facebook on your site. So many people love it. I made it with multicolored whites, black, greys and I used also rows of white etc. Just love this pattern. Thanks Crystal.
This is beautiful! I have had 2 skeins of a bulky 5 chenille yarn for a while, to make pillows for my grandaughters. This stitch is perfect. Not wanting to make a pattern that is too busy or plain, this definitely will be pretty. Your blanket with the Caron cake is gorgeous! Thank you, Crystal!
This is so nice! Fast and easy, so simple to work up but the striping variation makes it so different than anything else I've seen! It's light enough for a couch throw, and it's not too girly. I worked it up in stripes of gray and olive for my father in law.
Wow this is a beautiful pattern , maybe this is the pattern hat gives me my crochet mojo back. Gonna go into my stash right now. Thank you Crystal I love this blanket,!!
Hi Crystal! This is a great pattern. It works up beautifully with that colour cake. Perhaps you could put your beautiful blankets and shawls on display on your shelves. The colours would look lovely behind you and when someone asks, "what is that behind you?" You can show it and repromote your tutorials. Just an idea. Thanks for all you do to teach this fine craft! Have a great day😃
This was fun to work up. I did a swatch and its so cute. Def doing a blanket. Its a nice way to break up a basic double crochet blanket and add some interest. Doubles work up so fast
Beautiful Stitch i made an Afghan of rose n a whit and a tan stripe turned out Beautiful, now started another today tan and will have a aran fleck stripe in it a couple times
Crystal, this is beautiful. You make everything look so easy! I'm a visual Learner so Thank you! I have issues with finding stitches and counting. I use lots of stitch markers and I s very slow. You did an excellent job of teaching this stitch!
I was scrolling youtube for a different pattern for a Camp Boggy blanket. You never disappoint. I love this pattern for chunky yarn! Thanks for all you do Crystal.
I really enjoy the way you teach ... you make everything easy to understand. I'm going to make this for my granddaughter I can't wait to see how it turns out. Thank you , Crystal
I absolutely love your videos your crochet blanket patterns your creative stitches. You’re a wonderful instructor ! One of the very best ❤ Thank you for all you share with so many ❤
All weekend I’ve been looking for a pattern that goes well with the yarn I’m using thank you so much seriously I’ve been frustrated and this blanket is perfect.
Beautiful blanket, Crystal!! I like the simple ones because it’s hard to “ switch gears” after I finish one project and jump into he next one. 🧶🙂🧶🙂🧶🙂🧶🙂🧶🙂🧶🙂
Thank you, Crystal! I’ve been looking for a new pattern for a baby blanket that is a bit fancier than other projects I’ve seen. This is perfect! I can always count on BOD to come through 🧶
What a beautiful design and I love those colors!! I only got one Anniversary cake but I may have to try this with a lighter weight yarn. Thank you for this tutorial Crystal
I love this pattern! Your videos are so helpful to me. I’m coming back to Crochet at 60 and it’s been about 20 years since I did any serious crocheting. My mom and grandmother taught me that in the 60s. I had a stroke a couple of years ago and it really helps my anxiety and keeps me calm. I love your videos and your family is awesome, you and Eric remind me of my husband Rick and I, lol we are crazy together like you guys. Love y’all and have a merry Christmas. I’m sorry I couldn’t send an ornament this year we actually just moved into a new house two weeks ago. I can’t wait to see your trees! God bless
Thank you very much for taking the time to show us how to make this. I'm following along and getting excited because it actually starting to look like something. I can't wait to finish this.
Looks great, I'm not a fan of bulky yarn, I have an afghan that is #6 and don't like it, but I need to do it, this afghan came in a kit, so can't waste my money. Thank you for sharing and thank you for the multiples. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this beautiful pattern, it’s absolutely perfect for a blanket my son is asking for. 1/3 of the way done already. Your a beautiful person Crystal, keep up the great work.
I apparently missed this tutorial not sure how, but just pucked up some Caron Anniversary cakes while Michael's had their sale and have been waiting for an easy blanket pattern for a Toddler blanket. This is perfect. Thank you. You Rock.
If it wasn't for your youtube patterns I never would have made a baby blanket or a shawl.
Thank you
So I made this blanket and OH WHAT FUN! I used the color Cookie Parade and it turned out beautifully! Gave you a mention in my Instagram.
I made a BEDSPREAD using this stitch, LOVE it. Now I want to make shams that match. Crystal, do you have a Tutorial on making that?
The color way of this Caron yarn is amazing. It's nice to see the yarn you review worked up like this.
Hope I can do this one. My hubby was so great he let me buy all the Carons you have been recommending. And I already had more then enough yarn !!
