I just learned this the hard way. When I got to the end of my row 2 I was 1 stitch short and took several minutes to look back at my work for an error because I thought I must have skipped 3 instead of 2 somewhere but NO I hadn't so I frogged the whole darn thing (king size!) and went back to the start of the video and thats when I realized Crystal's count was NOT a multiple of 3 when she stated she started with 124. @@jeantunes OH wow I don't remember exactly actually but I'll thinking it was at least a dozen skeins on redheart supersaver. I used a 4 weight yarn with a 5.5 mm hook. The reason I know it was at least 12 is because I used all the yarn I had on hand in the colorway I had bought it on sale where if I bought a dozen it was less expensive. I hope this is of some help. Sorry I can't be specific but this was over a year ago and I always have something on my hook so remember a project that Wes probably 10 or more projects ago is not easy for me. Decorative and uncomplicated. Easy to follow while watching videos. Crystal thank you for FREELY sharing your GOD given talent with us. You are greatly appreciated.
I consider myself a beginner. I know all of the basic stitches and have made granny stitch blankets and some scarves and beanies. I’m now expecting my first grandchild in April and decided I wanted to make a basket filled with various sized baby blankets (car, stroller, receiving, crib etc.) in different patterns. I’ve checked out a lot of RUclips videos and keep coming back to you. This pattern will be the third blanket I’ve made from your collection. Always easy to follow and like sitting down with a friend. Thank you!
I love that you've made a lot of blankets and throws lately. Seems that all I want to crochet these days. I guess everyone will get blankets for Christmas. You now have several to choose from. Thank you! I like this one. Pretty and quick.
I love your videos I've been learning how to do different stitches through them you are a very good teacher and I understand everything that you say thank you very much for letting me and showing me how to do different kinds of stitches this Grandma loves it

Looking and looking for an afghan pattern to start that was easy enough for me. I have yarn I need to use. I bought yarn for projects that I am no where near ready for, and I don’t need to just keep buying more. I have watched your tutorials and written it all down in a rough written pattern form for me and I’m giving this one a go. So between your tutorial to reference and my scribbles maybe I can pull this off! Lol I love the look of your afghan! Here’s hoping 🤞🙏

Thank you so much for teaching this stitch and blanket pattern. I have just completed it exactly as you showed it. I had a lot of Respun yarn in the color Olive Branch. I have only been crocheting for five months and I wanted to make my mother an afghan for her 90th birthday. This pattern was straightforward enough for me to master as a beginner, yet it looks very rich and beautiful. Your tutorials are excellent. I will also be trying one of your ripple stitch blankets before long. Thanks again!
Very easy pattern. You have explained it well easy to follow your instructions. A great teacher 👏. Have added to my to do folder. Thanks for sharing another great afghan. Like the color. 🧶🤎💛🧡
This is my favorite stitch! I make scarves and lap throws and now I am making my very own afghan ( for myself)with this stitch. The row of flowers it makes is just so amazing to me.
Thank you, Crystal, your stitches are so beautiful. You can see your tension is all the same from start to finish. You've designed an amazing pattern. Thank you for sharing your lovely work. Always, appreciate your time and the amazing fiber work you bring to us all. 🙏👍❤️

You are a great teacher. The way you describe the stitches makes it very easy to follow. The camera position is always just right. I’m going to try this pattern in my next blanket.
Hi Crystal. First of all I want to thank you for stitch choices. It's an amazing thing when at the end of the row you actually did something. I'm not a seasoned crocheter like most. But since I have been hanging out here on your channel I have found that even the stitches that I would never consider I am able to crochet. Thank you for motivating me to try anyways. I have found that your channel has been a form of therapy for me that I would rather pay for instead of talking to someone in a white jacket 🤣 so thanks for all you have done and all you continue to put together for us all. I am grateful and I tell anyone that is willing to hear me about your channel. 💜
This is beautiful. I am going to make this now with Yar Bee Effortless Super Bulky in the color of Biscotti. Toward the bottom and top I am going to put a darker stripe. Thank you so much.
I absolutely loved making this blanket. The only thing I would do different is use a different yarn. The respun yarn had a lot of shedding and breaks in it. Thank you for such a beautiful pattern.
I was going to make the baby bunting you have with the stitch, but got carried away, and came out to wide, now I need a border for it. It's looking pretty. Thank you
