This primrose stitch is so pretty, thank you so much for teaching me this!! I have so many ideas for making scarves, wraps, baby blankets, wash cloths... on and on ideas!! I really love how you start in the back humps of the chain, that is how my grandmother showed me how when I was learning to crochet, most don't do that, I think it just makes such a nice finished look to whatever your making. I just found you a few weeks ago and really enjoy your teachings. Thank you!
I work into the back bump of the foundation chain if the stitch doesn’t work with a foundation stitch. Both leave a nice finished edge that matches the final row of the fabric.
Thank you for this .I was following a scarf pattern and kept trying to put row 3 in a space and not in the middle double crochet .😂This is why visual instructions can be a game changer !
I just found your channel with this tutorial and checked out some if the other videos you have. What a lovely variety if textured stitches! Now I just have to decide what to use them on (wearables are my current passion)!
I love your channel. It's one of the best channels on RUclips when it comes to learning a vast majority of stitches. Pretty much a never-ending list of stitches to try. I just started crocheting two years ago, and there was so many videos I saved in my favorites from so many different RUclips channels. I'm not kidding you. There's thousands, lol. So now every once in a while I go back to the beginning of my saved videos, now that I'm a little more fluent with crocheting. I understand how to do these stitches now. Anyways, this one right here is so simple I don't know why I was so intimidated by it, lol! It is such a beautiful stitch and I know exactly what I'm going to make with it! Thank you so much for the tutorial! Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year. 💕🌹
When I saw the sample for this pattern, I immediately thought I'd never be able to do it. I watched your tutorial anyway, and ... Oh. My. Goodness! How simple it is! It's a gorgeous texture, and I can't wait to put it into a blanket! Thank you so very much for your beautiful creations! (And the kids in the background were a bonus.) 😉☺️
Gorgeous, very sweet & easy. Desperately looking for a stitch using Caron cakes Latte yarn, to make a scarf suitable for a birthday gift, to a friend who is a fashion designer so it’s gotta be good with the yarn & extra perfect for my friends gift 👍 so thank you so much, you’re lovely teacher, I was already subscribed ❤️
I will have a hat pattern coming out in it in a couple of weeks :) I also think it would be pretty in a scarf, maybe a bag... blanket! So many possibilities!
I love this design but i hv trouble by the last of 3dc going for the next row, it's a bit confusing.. So chain1 then turn make a hdc on the same space ? Or chain 1 and hdc on the next stich ? So do i need to skip 2 or 1 after that?
I’m glad you like it! Unfortunately I do not have the written pattern available at the moment but in the fall I hope to start adding them to my blog :)
Your blanket stitch and this primrose stitch are beautiful! Which one do you think will work up quicker? I'm making a blanket with a 5.5mm or 6mm hook. Thank you!
Great tutorial love the pattern. I need to make a baby blanket. What’s the best pattern to use and how big do I make my chain? Can you help with this question please. I need advice
I love all you stitches an truly appreciate you showing it in such detail I have a 25mm (huge) crochet hook Do you know of any or have any patterns to put it to use. It was something I just had to have Thank you again
Do you have a written pattern anywhere? You begin the 3rd row slightly differently than a pattern I have been using that I think will improve the edge of the pattern. I will never remember the correction without it in writing or a diagram. Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback! It’s always a challenge to meet a variety of learning styles. If needed, I invite you to slow the speed of the video via the settings on your RUclips player for this video. I will keep your thoughts in mind for my future stitches. Thank you!
@@RichTexturesCrochetl would like to personally thank you for the speed with which you present your videos. It's not everyone's first time picking up a crochet hook!!

Can you mix this with other sts in between rows eg sc dc sc then rep pattern ?
I love this design but i hv trouble by the last of 3dc going for the next row, it's a bit confusing..
So chain1 then turn make a hdc on the same space ? Or chain 1 and hdc on the next stich ?
