I recently found this video. THANK YOU!! I have been searching to find a pattern for a baby blanket that look like it would be fun to do. This is it!! As a caregiver of both my parents I needed something that was stress free and I could do while sitting with them or while watching TV. This is it!!! Thank you so much. God bless you .💕🥰🙏🏽🙃

I love how quick and concise but still perfectly clear and informative your videos are. I love other crochet channels but they make 45 minute videos of a 2 row repeat because they explain every yarn over and pull through for every stitch in every row. I appreciate very much that you trust your audience to catch on with the first demonstration and then be able to follow along when it's called out the rest of the video.

This video looks like the shell stitching that I did so many years ago for a baby blanket for a layette that I did. Thank you for your wonderful video I’ll make this for my next project

Thank you so much for the blanket stitch! I found some other ideas before I happened on yours and they turned out to not be enjoyable. I have not been able to stop crocheting my blanket using this stitch. I like the more solid texture and lovely pattern it makes, it looks fantastic with the variegated yarn that I have tons of and would like to use up. You have made me a very happy crocheter and got me out of my granny square rut! Thank you for your expertise!!

I am SO happy to have found you and this tutorial! I have literally been looking for almost 2 weeks for a stitch like this and had gotten so aggravated to the point of almost doing something completely different...and talk about taking the fun out of crocheting! My adult son loves when I make him something (and to keep him from ''borrowing" anymore of my afghans) I decided to make him one either for his b'day which is the 20th or it will work for Christmas as well; but he doesn't like afghans or blankets with holes in them because when he wraps up in them his toes stick out...I know, picky, but if it saves the rest of my afghans I'm good with it. Then I came across your tutorial, and tbh, I haven't seen any of them before, but as soon as I found you, I saw that this was the one, Alleluia!, my phone died. I have been looking for you again for a week!!! I now have you posted everywhere possible, so I don't lose you again. Lol. Is it okay to share your link or what I make with my groups, with credit back to your link, or will that infringe on your ©️? And thank you for the super easy to understand and quick to make afghan!!! 🧶
Sorry for the lengthy post, I just had to get it all out for you to understand how happy I am to have found you (and will let you know how my son reacts to whatever I make him with this stitch)!

This reminds me of the Suzette stitch. Several years ago I crocheted a bunch of bags and purses using the Suzette stitch. I’ve been trying to find a way to make the Suzette stitch in rows look like it does in rounds. In rounds it makes such a cute kind of offset v stitch. Do you know of a stitch that mimics the Suzette stitch in rounds? Or do you have a version in rows that looks like it in rounds? I’ve always wanted to make a cardigan using it since it’s slightly chunky and cozy looking. I wear cardigans a lot because I’m always cold. Unfortunately I get warm flashes because of an autoimmune disease, so I wear layers to remove if needed. I don’t mean to tell you my life story, just why cardigans are better for me than sweaters. Thanks!

I just love to crochet,,but never got pass the stitches that they teach you in middle school, and I saw this crochet book at Wal-Mart store, loved some of the stuff that they had in it ,,,so I bought it and looked around to see if they had any more that was different,,,but they didn't, and they still don't have any to this day. Is there another place that I can buy some that won't cost so much money for one..Because I'm disabled and on a fix income and can't afford to pay a lot for one.

Thank you so much. This is beautiful. I’m going to start a king size blanket with the Caron one pound yarn. I’m looking for a stitch that doesn’t have big holes but also isn’t super heavy that will also hold up well to the weight of the blanket and washing. This stitch is beautiful. Do you think it would be a good stitch for such a large blanket.
