It's nice to know that after being a crocheted for over 50 years I can still learn a new stitch. 😊
Right?! I've been crocheting for 40 years, and have been looking for something like this for 2 weeks. And like you said, it's great to be able to learn something new. What did you make?🧶
Very helpful, I could easily follow along. Now I’ll buy yarn for a blanket for my granddaughter. I’m so pleased that I learned a new stitch.
My grandma taught me this, she passed away and I forgot how to do it. Thank you for helping me relearn my grandma's teachings. 😊
Thank you, I have been wanting to learn this stitch for so long and you demonstrate it so simply, I am going to crochet a blanket for my 6 year old granddaughter.
Sarah’s rock! You’re the best at these stitch tutorials!! Thanks!!
Awe thank you ☺️
I love how quick and concise but still perfectly clear and informative your videos are. I love other crochet channels but they make 45 minute videos of a 2 row repeat because they explain every yarn over and pull through for every stitch in every row. I appreciate very much that you trust your audience to catch on with the first demonstration and then be able to follow along when it's called out the rest of the video.

I agree with Terri. It's nice to learn a new stitch after having crocheted for 60 years. I love this stitch AND I love how you show & explain it so well. Thank you.
Thank you so much Angie :)
I have been calling this the cloud stitch for years. I love it! The way you teach is very nice.
Can't believe how simple this stitch is! Love it
Thank you for your simplistic, consistent manner of expression in this beautiful, blanket stitch, tutorial. You did not complicate, an easy, yet lovely lesson!!!!!!
I recently found this video. THANK YOU!! I have been searching to find a pattern for a baby blanket that look like it would be fun to do. This is it!! As a caregiver of both my parents I needed something that was stress free and I could do while sitting with them or while watching TV. This is it!!! Thank you so much. God bless you .💕🥰🙏🏽🙃
Love this stitch. I made several hats for Christmas with this pattern. It has a lot of beautiful texture.
I love EVERY video of yours!!! Thank you for such concise directions. Please keep ‘em coming!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
I made a scarf in this pattern. Now I’m going to make a red and black throw for my Georgia bulldogs. I really like your site. I’ve used several patterns. You are excellent at explaining as you go. Thank you.
So well made! Your voice is so soothing and your instructions so easily understood! Thank you!
You have showed so many beautiful stitches, I'm making a blanket so I will be using this one.lol. thank you
Thank you so much for the blanket stitch! I found some other ideas before I happened on yours and they turned out to not be enjoyable. I have not been able to stop crocheting my blanket using this stitch. I like the more solid texture and lovely pattern it makes, it looks fantastic with the variegated yarn that I have tons of and would like to use up. You have made me a very happy crocheter and got me out of my granny square rut! Thank you for your expertise!!
Thank you for a pretty blanket stitch video. I have just begun my newest blanket with this beautiful stitch pattern thanks to you!! ❤️
I absolutely love this stitch! Thank you for explaining it so concisely.
I am so glad to have found your videos!! I have a baby blanket to make and needed something special. This is perfect! Thank you for being easy to understand and showing your stitching close-up--great yarn color, background table color, and needle contrast to see it clearly.
Thank you so much for sharing. There have been more than a few stitches that I've been struggling with that I can now do easily because of your tutorials 😊
I absolutely love this stitch. Instructions and video are easy to follow. Thank you.
You’re welcome :)
I’ve now seen a few of your videos and by far you are my favourite instructor. Clear concise instructions and the way you demonstrate it makes learning a new stitch very accessible! Thank-you so much!
This is working beautifully with a size 10 hook and the bulky 5 weight puzzle yarn for a scarf. Ty Sarah
I like that your tutorials are easy to follow, I’m a visual learner. This is the perfect stitch for scarves, most of which I donate to charity. Thank you!
Love this fast blanket stitch... Thank you!
Looks like you did that one on the back loop!!! Love Crocheting. 💞❣️👍
Such a beautiful stitch! Thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you so much! This video was so simple to follow and not to long. You got right to the point and explained it perfectly. Your voice is very easy to listen to and follow along :)

Oh my gosh, I've been looking for a stitch like this for a couple of blankets I want to crochet! Ty so much, Sara! :)
Thank u for this!! Surely i will make a blanket on this stitch
So glad I found this video today! I just started a project last night and it’s the same stitch, but with only one dc in each stitch instead of two. I think this looks amazing! Fortunately, it was late and I had to stow my work till today! I’m going to restart it right now! Thank you! 💕
I am SO happy to have found you and this tutorial! I have literally been looking for almost 2 weeks for a stitch like this and had gotten so aggravated to the point of almost doing something completely different...and talk about taking the fun out of crocheting! My adult son loves when I make him something (and to keep him from ''borrowing" anymore of my afghans) I decided to make him one either for his b'day which is the 20th or it will work for Christmas as well; but he doesn't like afghans or blankets with holes in them because when he wraps up in them his toes stick out...I know, picky, but if it saves the rest of my afghans I'm good with it. Then I came across your tutorial, and tbh, I haven't seen any of them before, but as soon as I found you, I saw that this was the one, Alleluia!, my phone died. I have been looking for you again for a week!!! I now have you posted everywhere possible, so I don't lose you again. Lol. Is it okay to share your link or what I make with my groups, with credit back to your link, or will that infringe on your ©️? And thank you for the super easy to understand and quick to make afghan!!! 🧶
Sorry for the lengthy post, I just had to get it all out for you to understand how happy I am to have found you (and will let you know how my son reacts to whatever I make him with this stitch)!
I love it!! I’m learning how to crochet and this one was very easy to lear now I would like to see a border on this pattern so I can add to my blanket

I really love doing that stitch. I’m from Quebec and I have subscribed to your tutorials. Thanks for your beautiful, clear descriptions and nice closeups.
Amazing thank you for sharing. I so appreciate
Oh I wish I had seen this before I decided to go from making scarves to making a king sized blanket! 😂 Your video explains it so much better. My blanket is finished now, but it would have been so much better.
Beautiful stich
I wish you’d do a longer sample, it would be easier for beginners. Your information and teaching is wonderful.
If you watch it a couple of times and pause and work along with her it works very well. For me at least. Her tutorials have really helped me.
This is the sheshell stitch I believe... I wanted to do this one but everyone I found was hard and you made it super easy! But if it’s not it still looks like a sheshell I tried to do on the other videos and couldn’t get it. I didn’t realize till the second row. I was like cool, this is easy. Thanks so much!
This is a beautiful stitch. I will definitely be using it to make a blanket or perhaps a scarf! Thank you so much!
Love this stitch
That's a beautiful stitch. Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome! I’m glad you think so :)
I’ve been doing a similar stitch as this for years but don’t know the name. It’s just a single crochet and double crochet in the same stitch, skip a stitch, repeat. It’s super easy but very pretty. Thanks for this stitch. It would make a pretty, cozy sweater.
Thank you so much. Love this stitch!
Fantastic and teaching thanks
Love this pattern. Thank you for sharing.

I've seen many tutorials on this stitch...yours by far is the best and spot on. Great job and thank you! I just subscribed and look forward to watching your other videos.
Super nice and concise tutorial. Really appreciate your talent. I love the luster of the yarn. I've only been crocheting for 18 months. My daughter flips out when I buy yarn. I really like Caron brand yarn. I like the crochet hook you are demonstrating with. Looks super smooth. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
I love this stitch! It works up fast and super easy. The only problem I had was how the width of the work is quite a bit smaller than the starting chain. I was surprised. My daughter says now I have to add a wide edge to make my project to fit the wheelchair. Thank you for your tutorial 💖
Very beautiful ! Going to use this stitch. To make my grandaugter a very nice gift ! Thanks Sarah!😊
You’re very welcome! Enjoy!
Thank you I have been looking for a pattern that looks complicated but easy to do thank you, thank you I appreciate your sharing I subscribed looking forward to new patterns,

Very pretty 😊
Just discovered your tutorial and subscribed. Love it! Very easy to understand and follow. My next project is crocheting this blanket.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you like the tutorials! Enjoy and enjoy your blanket!
Love your videos!! And this stitch! 🙏🏼💖
It was quick and easy instructions very easy to understand..thanks so..much.
You’re welcome!
You need to tell people on second row to go under the stich not in the chain as first row.Its a different stich total.I caught it after i worked three rows.so the rest of the rows. You. Dont go in the chain you went under.
Awesome and great instructions!
For your starting chain you needed to specify that the chain was turned over and you were crocheting in the back loop. That would be confusing to beginners. Most don’t flip it over.
I mean it when I say, I love you so much! New subscriber and you are changing my crochet life for real. So thankful I found this channel!
Thank you so much, Kirsten :) I’m happy you’re here!
I love the pattern. Thanks. Can u please advise on if I want to put an edge all around with this blanket how to do it. I'm a beginner, sorry for the bother. thanks

I love it!!!
I just found your channel bc I had been searching for this stitch pattern. I made a blanket for my husband 3 or 4 years ago but I couldn't remember what was the stitch I used so ty. Also I was trying to find the yarn you used in this tutorial and I tried the link you provided in the description but the link was broken. If u could tell me the type of yarn used in your demo, please? It's got a very beautiful shine and color. Thanks again and I look forward to learning more from your channel. I'm so glad I came across your videos. Much ❤️ & 🐝 blessed
I was wondering about the yarn she used too. It's really cool looking 😎
I searched in the comments and the name of the yarn is Caron X Pantone merino blend. Then I did a Google search and it can be purchased online from Walmart or Amazon. Hope this helps and good luck 🤞 😊
Thankyou. Nice, easy, pretty pattern.
You’re welcome :)
