    I can never follow instructions. I made a placemat with my alteration of this stitch using single, double, double and a wonderful little bump occurred. Then I forgot what I did and where I got the basic pattern and here you are!! Now I will use a single, half double, double for the edges and a Sc, Dc, Dc for the center plus some other edging I haven’t decided on yet. Thank you SO much ❤️

    I’ve started this stitch last night and I love it! It took a few times to get started because I single crochet at the start because I didn’t like the holes that were left behind. I’m making a scarf with it and I find it to be a bit stiff even though I’m crocheting loosely and I said, “maybe someone with a stiff neck can wear it.”
    Hahahaha
    Thank you so much for the tutoring.

    I caught a mistake at the beginning, You were saying one single crochet, then a half double and then a double,, but you did a double in place of the half double. So it was single crochet, double, then another double.

    Thanks for this wonderful stitch! I love your channel!
    I have a question about row 1. When you are at the last 3 chains, it says sc, skip 2 chains, sc into last stitch.
    1) where does that initial sc go in relation to the cluster that proceeded it. Into the very next stitch?
    2) to do as you say, don’t you need to have 4 chains remaining? One for the sc, skip 2, one for the final sc?
    I kind of faked it, and it looks fine, but I’d like to clarify.
    Thanks! And Happy Holidays!

      @@RichTexturesCrochet Yes, please, I second this request. I have trouble adding appropriate borders to blankets and other projects when they weren't included in the instructions because I'm not yet confident enough in my own skills to wing it. Do I just dive and and go around the perimeter of the piece in the same stitch, add a single crochet foundation border first, use a completely different stitch as the border than what the blanket was made in, etc? When I have attempted it my borders tend to be a little loose and "ruffley", for lack of a better word.

    Hi! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial! Can you please help me figure out what multiples are needed to begin? You said multiples of 3 plus 1 plus 2? So that would just be multiples of 3? Thanks!!

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  5 лет назад

      Yes, if you are working a foundation chain, multiples of 3. If you would like to work the stitch in the middle of the project you’ll need a multiple of 3 plus 1.
