    Hi! Thank you for showing me how to make this stitch. I have such a hard time reading patterns and others are too fast. Your tutorial is perfect, so perfect that I made a lovely blanket too! Thanks!

    I really appreciate it that you film so close up to your work. Some of the other tutorials use thin yarn and small hooks and not close up at all. It makes it difficult to see exactly what is going on. Thank you!

    I love the one or two row repeat patterns. I’m in pain 24/7 because of a car accident in 2016. When I’m in a lot of pain I try doing something to get my mind off of it. I love to crochet, but I have difficulty concentrating when the pain is really bad. That’s why I like the one or two row repeat. Thank you! You are a joy to watch, and I’ve learned a lot from you. I appreciate you. God Bless

      I understand about the one to two row repeats because I have medical issues that cause a lot of pain and cause brain fog and problems remembering things so the one and two row repeats are my favorite.
      I hope you find relief and comfort!

    I love this pattern. I have short term memory like you from an accident. One row repeat works especially well for me. I am not able to crochet right now. I've been positive for Covid since Sunday. I can handle the flu like symptoms that I have but the joint pain I have is unreal. Soooooooo I'm adding to my Crystal list and catching up on tutorials. Thank you for all you do Crystal

    So thank you Crystal for making my life enjoyable.

    Thanks Crystal!! This is a very easy beautiful blanket!! I’m planning on making this in red for my grandson for Christmas!! I’m finishing up a blanket for my other grandson in purple, his wife one in blue!! Next year, I’m planning on making my youngest grandson, which he will graduate high school in 2024 then he plans on joining the Navy, a blanket in the US Navy colors!! I don’t know what kind of stitch to do yet but I have awhile to figure that out!

    I am amazed at how much time you take for us. I love that I found you! I know that sounds kinda crazy but I really am so happy that I have found someone who teaches the way you do. I want to learn how to crochet like my mother. She could make any and everything. I've never seen myself able to do what she and several of you do. Yet after watching you, there may be hope for me after all. I would be happy making a throw or blanket that are even across on both ends! I've made some really pretty ones but not one is even on both ends. I know that its simple but I keep doing something wrong. The chain up thing I guess..
    Thanks again, Crystal! I'm excited to learn more!❤

    • @danadawn
      @danadawn Год назад +3

      I think the hardest part of crocheting is turning your work. You have to know the exact chain to turn in and how many to chain before turning also how to proceed after turning. The first stitch you make after turning is probably not the stitch you will continue making. Sound confusing? That's because it is.

    Crystal, I forgot and left closed caption on in this video. I'm not a beginner so I knew you were saying, "draw up a loop." But from about 7 to 10 minutes in is when I first noticed it. There might be more before or after I saw it. The closed caption read, "drop a loop," also between 12 to 13 minutes. That is as far as I checked, but it happened about 4 times. I'm letting you know just in case there is a deaf beginner reading it. Please don't take this as a criticism. I love your work and your videos, you have taught me a lot and given me confidence to try new stitches and different patterns. I admire the work you do. All of your FOs are so neatly stitched and beautiful. Sending love, hugs, and thanks your way! ✨️💖✨️🙏🌻

    I don’t know why but I really enjoy DC3tog stitches! Lovely blanket as is everything you design, my hubby says I need to figure out what to do with some of my projects because we live in a very small apartment and my yarn and projects has taken over lol. He says I should try to sell it because I am on a fixed income but I an afraid to because I don’t know if my work is good enough to sell, kinda scary putting myself out there like that. Thanks for all you do for us. Much Love and blessings ❤️
