I was hesitant of your damage tests until I saw you cooking for +8 hours at witness on contest mode, hats off my man!
I got euphony and i have the god roll prismatic warlock bond with apotheosis and star eaters
There are other God rolls now, most feel osmio is the play.
Or run strand with apotheosis helm for all around better dmg numbers.
Yesterday I got a witness cp from a checkpoint bot and on my first attempt my Wi-Fi decided to go crazy. It disconnected my party chat, kicked me out a few times, and eventually I just turned on my hot spot. After a few minutes it let me join back and we started again only to kick me about 30 seconds in. After I restarted my game I got a loading screen for about 5 minutes and it finally let me join back. The witness only had a quarter health left and he entered his final stance before I even got on the platform to do damage. I got maybe 5 shots of my sniper and we killed him… and I got the exotic. I barely did a few hundred thousand damage and got the exotic on my 4th clear. My teammates were so mad 😂
First raid ever where I’m going to target farm only the witness for red borders and the exotic. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fucking amazing time, and the first 3 encounters build upon each other in a way only DSC has truly managed to do. But that 4th encounter is so brutal for LFG’s, I genuinely think it’ll just be easier to checkpoint it out on my extra characters. Gotta get them raid ready in the first place.

Ok so i have it and did some dps phases with friends on the witness and i can say on strand warlock with apotheosis veil, only the hunter nighthawk build can beat it. Every dmg phase i was hitting 3.3mil+. And sleeper hit 2.3mil and rocket izzi was doing 2.5mil (these are rough numbers because skill is always at play, but there is no chance that anything beats it out unless its hunter gg build) Celestial was doing around 3.7mil consistently
Absolutely wild on warlock strand considering it will also maybe get another perk (if its not a bug) and also ITS A SPECIAL so u can use a MG for ads and stuff
Also keep in mind we had no debuff or well(buff). Just surges and the weapons

What does Apotheosis do again?
Gives a MASSIVE ability regen boost to you and fireteam after using super
use your abilities all before using the weapon, you get more shots with higher damage that way
All I have to do now is get a run done

Caps at 25 stacks, which means 50% damage increase. For a linear. A SPECIAL linear. Ayy, that's pretty good.
I'd consume a threading grenade and do the rift that spawns threadings. I think that's over 10 threadings right away or something like that.
It’s 8 which isn’t too shabby. Might be better to consume a grenade then super though, bc then the perched threadlings I believe count as super damage
You can use Weavewalk to get 5 threadlings, cast rift, and throw your nade for 11x stacks. Plus if you need to move around, Weavewalk will give you back more threadlings but try not to focus on that in the middle of dps.
On strand surge its not bad! Linears as a whole I feel do need to be buffed.
Linears were top for a WHILE , doubt bungie will go that route anytime soon
Not lying here, I got it after clearing salvation’s edge and let me tell you; i got 4.2 million using the weapon alone with 2 strand weapon surges. No super, no build around it.
This thing could've easily been a heavy ammo weapon
If you ran thread of assent with the grenade recharge could you possibly reload it enough that you don't need a manual reload.
I was watching your damage and it looked like you almost had another grenade that could have reloaded it as you were running out ammo and had to reload
He's on prismatic for the prismatic exotic (star eaters + apotheosis) and then making a pseudo strand loadout to get similar results, if he placed a stasis turret, used facet of command he would've never needed to reload tbf

If im not mistaken i think you would technically get more out of it by using grenade, melee repeatedly until apotheosis buff runs out then u full send with euphony
You would be losing out on time to shoot extra euphony shots though. Which also create additional threadlings

Burst dps absolutely not, id be surprised if it is

@abhinavsuvinr7922 I feel even sustained still hunt is better. With a single solar reserve mod that's 5 golden guns as long as you don't miss anything, than can swap to a linear after if needed

Titans also have Euphony, but just like with everything else it's just a bit more inferior on them

Weavewalk is a slow animation it’s bad for dps
@@D2Beagle there was a dps rotation using it before and it wasn't bad
@@D2Beagleif you practice or bind your dodge to a certain input (I use “Hold” Jump Button), you can get in and out of Weavewalk in 1.5-2 secs. There’s a learning curve
@@ThriveOnEgo_ animation is too long and you get grapple back for reloads fast enough. It’s alright but doesn’t compete with any of the top damage rotations
