I’m a D1 guy so I have a slight chub about this, but I can’t seem to reliably hit max DPS with a sniper in D2 with every boss on console. Especially when things like Rockets or Grenade launchers exist.
Heya, I noticed you using one-two punch with the liar handshake's cross counter and combination blow. Some clan-mates were telling me that one-two punch actually nerfs the damage of cross counter, so if using that in my build they suggested that the best sequence was start with shooting shotgun first, then punch, then punch again for cross counter bonus. Is this right? I notice at 6:59 that ehroar instead does shoot, punch, shoot, punch as his sequence. any insight is much appreciated
But does it also stack with scorch you get while song of flames is active? So that you in theory get it down to 2 shots? Edit: just saw llamas video...it does ignite after 2 shots
Seraph Mission, Xur(?) & don't delete non Deepsight Frames!! I cannot tell you how many people I know that ended up with 4/5, they've got Deepsight Harmonisers & last seasons ones sat doing nothing on the Bungie Website only to realise they've deleted what could've been number 5.
@@ClairvoyantLastrus I would think that for most bosses, higher dps would be better given specials are secondary to a heavy option (exceptions being euphony and still hunt). I’d be curious to know if this is ever not the case (I.e a very long damage phase). I’d love to justify using my new god roll but it seems ikelos may just have it beat. Thinking out loud here, lmk if you have a different opinion.
@@PandismLive You answered your own question haha. Some long damage phases that come to mind are the witness, both bosses after the first in warlords ruin, every boss in kings fall. Just to name a few. People forget dps isn't everything, especially when you don't have ammo to continue doing damage with a long dps phase. Sure, you blew all your ammo in the first 10 seconds of the phase, but now what are you gonna do for the potentially other 50 seconds of the phase? Slower rate of fire and swap weapons fill that role of total damage. People also don't care about dps, they care about the big total damage number at the end of the fight. You aren't going to get that big number with higher dps weapons, because that's not what they are built for.
Came to the comments to ask the same thing. Insane. This is supposed to be about sniper damage, but now I just want to know more about that Hunter build.
clown catridge vorpal weapon is nice for general play as well where you might only need a couple shots, or just need to quickly break a barrier champ shireld
"Recoil sucks on console" if you've been playing D2 this long and haven't learned to control the snipers recoil to land decent crits, you just dont try. I have no problem landing my crits on console 🤷🏽♂️

Star eaters nova is the highest super in the game now with 1.1 million and no artifact mods. Radiant nighthawk golden gun is only 745k. Without still hunt being so busted hunters would never catch up so keep coping clown 🤡 😂
for general play regualr snipers are pretty solid now especially with antibarrier. the uzume is reaslly solid from last weeks knightfall and succession has always been good
Man it's been so long, ikelos sr v2 with high impact reserves was the last one i used.
I got one also with high impact and triple tap, and OG version, still works really well

Celestial still hunt still reigns supreme but Whisper will climb back up to the top when still hunt gets nerfed

I’m not saying they are lying but that shouldn’t be how that works, cross counter should be buffed by one two punch 🫡
It nerfs otp not cross counter so you're still getting 3 × 1.4 instead of 1.4 × 2

The current exotic mission rotation seraph shield. You have to get 5 red borders so good luck LMAO
you get 3 red borders per week on ur acc guaranteed. do the mission once on normal, and once on legend.
