Great hacks! I use an empty Lysol disinfectant sheet container to get my vinyl off my weeding tool. Same principle. I just toss it when its full. I also use 143 vinyl. Their vinyl is SO much better then Cricut and cheaper! And, for your "star" trial cuts...don't use your Transfer tape for something that small. I use scotch tape for the small items. It works great! To clean my blade after I cut, but before I put my machine away, I use a pre-packaged alcohol swab on the blade to get off residue. It drys quickly. The wipes are also great to remove residue on smaller items, like ornaments, before I adhere my vinyl. No bottles to worry about knocking over.
I’m so glad I found you! You have inspired me to open boxes of Cricut things I own! And to return to my 12’x16’ She Shed my husband built me 2 years ago!
Thank you for putting these TikTok hacks together in one video. I’m an original Cricut user and still got a wealth of information from watching your video.
Thank you so much my hubby just bought me my first cricut i got the maker 3 and ive been obsessively watching all different diys and hacks and your channel has by far been the easiest to understand as someone who knows absolutely nothing and you're voice is so nice and able to keep my attention
The pen hack is great. The protective cover on the mat is fantastic, I have so much trouble with putting it back on straight. Thank you so much for the great ideas. I have been learning so much from your videos.
I like the pen hack. I use the Paper Mate Ink Joy pens all of the time at work. I'm a nurse, so needless to say, I do a lot of writing. Ink Joy is my favorite pen. I have to watch that people don't "forget" to give my pen back to me when they power it. Now I have a new reason to use the Ink Joy pens but this time they will be color. Thank you!
The pens, lint roller, and the parchment paper hacks. Just giving me the confidence to use something other than the Cricut brand has helped tremendously!
They were all my fav but to see how easy the parchment paper works you better believe I am grabbing mine out the kitchen and bringing to craft room for sure thank you so much!
This was fantastic! I'm a VERY NEW beginner with Cricut. Just purchased my very first one 2 weeks ago and just a little overwhelmed. But this video was great. Glad I came across your channel!
I've used many of these but a new one for me is the lint roller, makes so much sense! Also like the pens. For very little money I can have a variety of colors that don't leave dots. Thanks Michael
I cannot say thank you enough for your resources and tutorials and being so informative without talking to us like we’re 3 years old Please please keep doing what you do best!!!! Would love to see some faux leather crafts and iron on HTV to unique materials like beanie hats, perhaps shoes!?
I came here not even to watch the video but to let you know i love you videos. Over the last couple years I've watched a ton of videos and i find yours the most thorough and well explained. Hope this year is a great one for you!
My fav was the lining up the cricut mat with the cover! I use the mats everyday and am OCD enough that it really rips me when my mat and cover do not line up. I think I owe you for OCD therapy!
Thank you, Michael! I really enjoyed the one for the toddler tub weeding container and already have one in my online cart. We currently use the fingernail polish holder ring, but I like this one better!
This morning I was going to design a sticker to print on vinyl but it was bothering me how much paper is wasted. And the first video I watch this morning is you and your hack about beating that issue!!! THANK YOU!!
I love the parchment paper hack, and peeling the vinyl off the mat the back way. I found your Utube channels last week and joined crafty this past Sat. love it.
I'm a newbie to the cricut world, so I"m trying to learn everything as possible. Your videos have been very tutorial. Where are your video location based out of?
I love how cool you are! Most cricut tutorial videos I find aren't that relatable, and sometimes a little boring but not you. I also really love your background
The hack I use the most would have to be the parchment paper hack! I just love how easy that makes it to line everything up. I would say my favorite hack is the pen hack. I've never used any pens other than cricut brand. I can't wait to try that one!
I’ve been watching you for awhile actually comparing your site to others and I have to say …. We’ll just became a member thanks for clear and honest tutorials 😊
The pen hack is a total game changer!! I didn't realise the front part of the pen holder opened fully to allow the Cricut pen holder to fall out! Thanks for this great tip!!
My favorite was learning about the lining up other pens, but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was learning that the pen clamp opens all the way, I had no clue! lol
Loved them all - however, it is really drilled into my conscience now to do a trial cut with a new product. No more thinking I have done a large cut correctly only to find out that it is the wrong pressure. Thank you do much .
I have two favorites that are tied - the toddler tub for weeding and the pen hack at the end! Never seen it shown like this but does look so much easier! Thank you, MCP!!!
Hi I've just bought my circuit today and I'm getting very excited to start making new projects. Does the place where you order your vinyl from send to the UK ? Xx
I have used the parchment paper hack for awhile, thanks to your channel, and that is definitely my favorite. I will have to try the pen hack I am getting so many ideas after seeing it!
I hang my cutting mats on a nail on the wall next to my machine and when I remove my protective covers I put them back on the nail and when I wanna put them back on I put my mat back on the nail Sticky side facing the protective cover and it goes on perfect every time
Hi Michael, My favorite is the parchment paper. I learned that from you quite some time ago and pas that hint to others. When doing a large project like tubs for drinks I did in the summer. I use the hinge method using it doing half at a time was so much easier. When applying because of the texture I used a tennis ball to appt the vinyl to get in all the nooks and crannies instead of the squeegee. I want to know the brand of pen you are using. You said you would tell the brand but I looked all over and can’t find it. Thank you for all you do!
Nice Tube. I got a Joy for Christmas and haven't even opened it yet. I have a Silhouette Curio that I got 4 years ago and it's still sitting in box--took it out once and put it back and it sits in it's own little shelf all by it's lonesome. Hope the Joy gets me more into the mood to use Cricut--I know it doesn't do many of the things that your Tube was about, but it will be enough for doing shirts and signs, etc. and I should be good with that. Pinning this one so I can refer back to it. Favorite were the HTV hacks. Thanks
The parchment paper would be of more help for me the most. Aligning is a sloppy process for me lol. But there’s another hack I’d like to see and that’s “foiling”. Thanks Michael so much for everything!
Nice collection of tips and even some in there I had not yet learned! First of all, I can’t believe how inexpensive 143 vinyl is, even without discounts. I think the font finder is my favorite one in this bunch. What a super web tool!!! Also, your reverse weeding is also very helpful. Thank you, as always, for your dedication your crafting and for showing newbies like me how things roll in the vinyl world. The way you share information is so easily digestible and removes a lot of the fear and anxiety we sometimes get when playing with our craft toys. Your corner of RUclips is amazing. Keep on keeping on!
Love the protective sheet and the pen hacks the most. Already use the nail polish weeding tool and lint brush hacks. Will have to try the parchment aligning hack. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
Roller for me since I sew also it was the first thing available and worked like a charm. I’m new to the cricut world so all of these tricks are helping me 👍
I use the carrier sheets for weeding, they are sticky enough and it works great with catching the smaller pieces you weed out, i just set it aside and weed away :)
My goodness! So many great ideas. Thank you. I am a new owner and will be coming back to this video. Love them all, but for sure the font site is pretty amazing! Thank you.
Hi I am having a problem with cutting vinyl. I have a brand new Cricut Maker and using the fine blade and heavy pressure on premium vinyl and vinyl foil. Neither cut thru to separate. I had to cut the foil along lines with scissors!
I liked you hacks video. The roller under the mat will be useful to me.I tried Dollar Tree markers in my cricut when I 1st got it.I just stuck it in til the tip hit the bottom. The hack you showed is better for sure.
Hi Mr. Crafty, I just found you and just got my Cricut. Thank you so much for the tick-tock hacks. I wish you can show us how to make a card with that Cricut and take it off the mat. I have a card ministry and I was a stamper until Christmas when my hubby got me a Cricut 2221. so I really want to learn. I see that must do vinyl and I use a lot of card stock. Thank you.
My absolute favorite is #17 but I also am in deep like with #8 & 9!! Love your videos, you are wildly entertaining! Sometimes I watch just for the entertainment factor!
This is a fantastic video! What an amazing idea! I’m so inspired by you. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I also make RUclips videos and I just love that I am able to learn from amazing creators like you! Thank you so much for sharing!
As always I learned so.many.things! I love all your content, and your sweet personality. The lint roller was really smart, and seeing the reverse weeding in action was GOLD! Using the pens? The layering? OMG-STOP! I have to rewatch this a few more times, and saved it in my Cricut playlist because there is just so much goodness packed into this one video (and all your others!). Thanks for being you!
Hi Michael, just a quick question? does your Mr Crafty Pants , all of your cut files etc , what format are they downloaded in ? are they zipped or unzipped?

my favorite hack is when laying down vinyl using parchment paper...it has saved my sanity
I've been waiting for you to do this video.
I am still trying to figure it out...
Wha!?!🥰
I agree 👍💯 so cool
Can you use this process with a iron-on layered t-shirt?
New to Cricut and I do believe you have changed my life! You've shown me so much and how to use design space.
I’m so glad I found you! You have inspired me to open boxes of Cricut things I own! And to return to my 12’x16’ She Shed my husband built me 2 years ago!

I love all of these hacks. I've seen them all but forgot about most. I use the hack laying the plastic cover on the mat every day!!
Great video...the one that made the biggest difference was putting parchment paper to align the vinyl. It saved many projects!
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
GO BIG BLUE!! I'm from Henderson Ky. 💙💙💙
My favorite was the toddler snack cup used for weeding!
They were all my fav but to see how easy the parchment paper works you better believe I am grabbing mine out the kitchen and bringing to craft room for sure thank you so much!
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
This was fantastic! I'm a VERY NEW beginner with Cricut. Just purchased my very first one 2 weeks ago and just a little overwhelmed. But this video was great. Glad I came across your channel!
I really liked number 7 for me.😊
I'm a newbie Cricut owner and love your teaching style. Very easy to follow. Thank you.
I love the font site to see what you already have available in your computer and the ability to type in what you are printing!
Love, love, love the way you presented each hack and your enthusiasm for what you do. Watching you is always a pleasure.
I've used many of these but a new one for me is the lint roller, makes so much sense! Also like the pens. For very little money I can have a variety of colors that don't leave dots. Thanks Michael

Those are my favorite pens too!! I have a ton of them in every color in my classroom!!!! So excited to try this!!!
They’re amazing! 😍
Parchment paper with vinyl is my favorite. A real game changer.
I agree!! I love that hack!! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!!
I wish I could give you more than one star. You have helped me so much with these hacks. Thank you for being clear and easy with your instruction.
Love #10, 11, and 20. Will be trying them out soon! Your parchment paper hack I learned from you almost a year ago. Saves my sanity every time!☺️
So many great ideas. Love the paper flower hack! Genious
I love that hack too! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Loved the weeding container using the toddler container. I do have to ask, what pen/tool are you using for weeding? I want one of those!
I have the nail Polish ring and love it. I’m definitely going to try the lint roller though. That looks great.
I bought that a Dollar Tree when I got my Maker. Works great .
I wish I would've seen this sooner I bought mines from Dollar tree for 1.25 but I use mines as a shammy holder for stamp cleaning
#6 and up...I knew about the first five, but wow, those others took me by storm...Thank You...I will be using several of these.
This morning I was going to design a sticker to print on vinyl but it was bothering me how much paper is wasted. And the first video I watch this morning is you and your hack about beating that issue!!! THANK YOU!!

Lots of those hacks were cool, but the best one for me: the attaching your cover to the mat. I just did it and it was the BOMB!!!
I love how cool you are! Most cricut tutorial videos I find aren't that relatable, and sometimes a little boring but not you. I also really love your background
I am interested in knowing what setting should I use for the Dollar Tree vinyls? I bought some to use as stencils
I love all the hacks and appreciate you put them together ❤ My favorite is adding a different pin to the cricut machine
The hack I use the most would have to be the parchment paper hack! I just love how easy that makes it to line everything up. I would say my favorite hack is the pen hack. I've never used any pens other than cricut brand. I can't wait to try that one!
My goodness I’m new so everything is wonderful. I do have a question. The StarCraft soft flex can it be used on anything?
I have to agree with other people about the parchment paper. Love that hack!
I’m going to dollar tree tomorrow for one of those baby snack holders for weeding!
The pen hack is my favorite. Getting ready to try it now.
Im fairly new to cricut and OMGGG! THe reverse weeding technique!! Thank you soooo much 😭😭😭
The Font finder hack has blown my mind! By far my favorite! Thanks for sharing!

Loved the drill with the flower...sooo easy

Hi
I've just bought my circuit today and I'm getting very excited to start making new projects. Does the place where you order your vinyl from send to the UK ? Xx
I enjoyed all of your ideas. Some I knew. But for all of your efforts and ideas thank you. I do love love star craft material.
The pen hack is my favorite! Love Ink Joy's pens as well
I have used the parchment paper hack for awhile, thanks to your channel, and that is definitely my favorite. I will have to try the pen hack I am getting so many ideas after seeing it!
Isn’t it great? I love it too! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!!
Favorite hack you shared was finding the right font. That is going to save me SO much time!
I hang my cutting mats on a nail on the wall next to my machine and when I remove my protective covers I put them back on the nail and when I wanna put them back on I put my mat back on the nail Sticky side facing the protective cover and it goes on perfect every time
Awesome hacks! I'll be going tomorrow to get pen holder and pens to try out that last hack. Thank you Mr. Craftypants!
those are wonderful! thank you!! I love the pen and htv hacks. oh and the parchment paper... blew my mind!
So many great ones, Mr. Crafty Pants. I really love that you put them all together and not only explained it so well, but showed us it!

The parchment paper hack is definitely by far my favorite hack.
OMG - the Wordmark hack will be an ABSOLUTE GAMECHANGER for me... thank you SOOOO MUCH
Regarding sharpening your blade. Look for one of those soldering iron tip cleaning pots. It's like wire wool but much thicker. Perfect for this.
I loved the parchment paper and the pen. Thanks, Michael!
Love the protective sheet and the pen hacks the most. Already use the nail polish weeding tool and lint brush hacks. Will have to try the parchment aligning hack. Thank you for all your wonderful videos.
Roller for me since I sew also it was the first thing available and worked like a charm. I’m new to the cricut world so all of these tricks are helping me 👍
Hard to pick there’s so many good ones! I think the parchment or paper towel roll. Genius!
I use the carrier sheets for weeding, they are sticky enough and it works great with catching the smaller pieces you weed out, i just set it aside and weed away :)
How do I fix the issue of the vinyl not wanting to be removed from the backing with the transfer tape?
My goodness! So many great ideas. Thank you. I am a new owner and will be coming back to this video. Love them all, but for sure the font site is pretty amazing! Thank you.

So many great tips! I learned so much! I’m saving this video so I can refer to it again later. Thank you!
Glad I stayed to the end. The pen hack has been one of my biggest questions. Very informative tutorial. Thank you.
Parchment paper and the pen hacks!
You are an awesome educator and, by the way, adorable!!!
I love the sticker hack too! Thank you.
Brand new and loved seeing all the hacks and tips demonstrated.
I love all these hacks. I'm a new cricut owner and can use all the help I can get. What weeding tool are you using in this video?
Love the heat transfer idea!YAY!❤
The parchment paper hack has been a lifesaver!
